If you didn't know, Bagel is an inanimate object that appears in multiple chapters of this book and my oneshot book.

He is a purple hippo plushie that is Alanna's prized possesion.

Trivia: Chapa gave him to Alanna when she was born, and she kept him ever since.

Every time some happens to him (arm rip, etc;) Alanna goes berserk.

I had to think of a unique stuffed animal, so I used a hippo. And the name Bagel was the first word that popped into my head. And when I found 'the one' I just thought Bagel was so cute I decided to keep it and it just stuck ever since.
