Hyejin's POV

Why was Jungkook here? He didn't look so happy.

"Tch..Jungkook, what'd you want? Me and Hyejin are in the middle of something important."

"I don't think making out with someone else's girl is important...."

Wait, someone else's girl? I'm not with anyone......??

"Look, why are you here?"

Jungkook laughed.

"I came to take Hyejin from you before you hurt her." He glared at Jimin, anger lingering in his gaze.

"She isn't hurt, are you Hyejin?"

I gulped. I didn't want to be a part of this!

But they were both looking at me, waiting for an answer.

It was as if my word would decide who I go with. Honestly, I didn't want this right now.

I looked up at both of them.

"I don't know why you guys are fighting. You guys seemed like goods friends, but here you are, fighting over god knows what! I don't want to be here if you guys are going to act this way." I looked to Jimin, who seemed pretty content with my speech. "Thanks for having me over, but I'll go now." I made a slight bow before turning toward Jungkook to leave.

He, on the other hand, seemed surprised at my little speech.

Serves you right, Jerkook!!

He glared at me as I passed by him, as if he could read what I was thinking about him.

I didn't want to deal with any of this. I started heading home, but ended up at a park I used to hangout at with my friends when I was little.

I wish I could see my friends again. They were so kind, all 7 of them!!!

I had made friends with boys, no girl ever wanted to be friends with a girl like me. Just look at me for a second:

1. I was a nerdy gamer girl
2. All of their guys swooned over me, obviously they would hate me!
3. I was friends with guys, they'd think I get around
4. My parents divorced

Yes. It's true. They divorced and my mother died not long after. I remember like it was yesterday

Flashback to 9 years ago...

I was walking home from school with my friend Taehyung. He was one of the closest friends too me when I was little. I was in 2nd grade. We got some ice cream like we always did. We were chasing each other, we had shoved ice cream at each other.

I got to my doorstep and ran inside, Taehyung running after me.

He had gotten to my doorstep. "Caught you, Hyejin!"

I was standing there, silent, and now so was Taehyung.

"You were never there for me! You had always brought another girl with you each time you got back!"

"I was drunk each time, Joosah! It's not like you never made out in front of me with him, remember?!"

I heard my mother sobbing.

"I didn't kiss him, he kissed me! He was told to break us up, you idiot! I explained that to you in high school! Don't you get it?! She wanted you! She slept with other guys and hated me! That's why she had s-"

I heard him slap her. My father, hit my mother.

"You little b***h! How dare you talk to me like that!" I heard him slap her once again.

"I want a divorce...."

No, mom. Why?

"And a divorce is what you get, you little wh**e!"

"....and I want Hyejin....."

"Take her, I don't want that little brat running around, reminding me of what a mistake it was to fall in love with you!"

He shouldn't have said that. I standing there crying, as Taehyung held me close, hiding me as me father stormed out. H edidn't want me too get hurt, he was a protective friend.

3 years later

I was crying, next to Taehyung. After my dad left, he had helped my mother take care of me all the time, watching for me as he always did.

Taehyung walked with me as we knelt to the ground and placed our roses.

'Here lies Kim Joosah, loving to all'

She died of cancer, my father never knew, nor did he care I think.

Taehyung had sat with me as I layed next to her grave all night that day.

When we walked home, he promised me a special promise I still hold to him this day.

"Hyejin, I will go look for your father. I will promise to come back to you once I have found him. They won't let you live alone."

"Taehyung, why can't I stay with you?"

He laughed a little.

"We both know how much our-...my parents would hate that in the future.... Don't worry Hyejin. I will come back once I have found him. Promise, copy, and stamp it!"

We did our promise and he hugged me, a tear strolling down his cheek as he walked himself home once I was inside my house.

Flashback Over

I really miss him. I wish I could see him again. He knew all my secrets. What happened to my parents, why I am the way I am, how I liked my friend Kookie. I never knew his real name, he was so quiet. He told me to call him Kookie, and that's it. I really wish I could meet all of them again. Once I lost Taehyung, I lost all of them too. It's like everyone disappeared altogether.

I hope to see him again.

Eventually, I fell asleep on the park bench, thinking of all of this as i cried.

Jungkook's POV

Why did she look so mad? I was never THAT rude to her, so why does she hate me so much? I was thinking this to myself as I headed to Seokjin's (jin's) place.

I walked inside and everything pretty much was everywhere. They always made a mess whenever they were here. Just to make Jin mad.

I noticed everyone was there except Taehyung. I wonder where he had gone?

I plopped down onto the couch next to a hyper Heosok and a sleeping Yoongi.

"Hey, Heosok..."

"Hey, what's up?"

I thought for a second, thinking I might think of an answer before he gave me one.

"...where did Taehyung go? He's always here."

Distracted, he took a second to answer me.

"What? Oh, he said he went to meet an old friend. He'll be at school tomorrow. Waeyo? (why?)"

I shook my head.

"Just wondering."

I thought of who he could've gone to meet. He was always with us, who else could he be with? Then I remembered a girl we used to hang out with. She was the only other friend we really made besides each other.

I mean come on, there's 7 of us, what more do we need?

Then I thought more, 'did he go to meet her?' I couldn't remember her name, so I guess it can't be.

I'm sure everyone forgot about her.

But who else could he have gone to see??
