It's morning again and you start heading to the dinning hall.

The dinning hall is still filled with everyone except Kokichi. Breakfast felt, awkward again.

"(Y/N)?" Shuichi says getting your attention. "We can hangout today, right?"

"Umm, sure." You say. "I have nothing major to do, so."

"Great." Shuichi says and starts to eat faster.

After you both finish, Shuichi says, "Let's head to the library."

"Umm... Okay?" You said. You felt the awkwardness fill the air as you ate.

You and Shuichi spent time in the library reading the rest of the day. You were mostly silent.

Once you started to head towards you, Shuichi grabs your hand.

"Hey," he says, "Kaito wants us to meet in the gym before nighttime."

"Yeah, sure." You say. You then wanted to ask about him and Kaito. But now didn't seem like the time.

You walked in to see your other classmates and an array of weapons on the ground.

"Wait," you saud starting to panic, "what's going on!?"

"Ah," Kaito yells to you. "Y/N! perfect time! Oh yeah, yo fill you in, we are fight Monokuma tonight."

"Wait what-!?" Kaito interrupt

"I've had enough of this killing game crap. And you probably are done with it too! With these weapons from my lab, we will be able to fight off Monokuma this way-!"

"No." You say. "It's not going to work. We don't have a plan yet. You plan to just fight robots from anime with a knife? And what are we supposed to do? Just because you are an assassin doesn't mean you or me are invincible!"

"But we're strong, right!?" Kaito said, looking pretty desperate. "Together, we can end this killing game!"

"What if I told you there was an easier way~? Nehehehe!" Behind the podium on top of the stage, Kokichi jumps up.

"Kokichi!" Kaito said in all of his hate.

"Awww~!" Kokichi laughs. "Be careful~!"

Kokichi then and there pulls out a bomb to show everyone.

"Nehehehe!" Kokichi laughed and played with the bomb in his hand. "I wouldn't want to get carried away with arguing with you, and have my hand slip. Just like that, the whole gym would go BOMB! So you'll need to listen to what I have to have to say."

The room was filled with glares at Kokichi and silence.

"Now that I have your attention!" Kokichi jumps down from the stage with the bomb in his hand. "So, the Monokuma Handbook says something about how only two people can survive! But there is a plot hole! Monokuma never said how many people you can kill. So, my plan is to blow up the inter school, and kill everyone! Everyone accept the other person who agrees to live with me! We would end the killing game and live here for the rest of our lives! Or escape it something, I don't know! So, who will come with me!"

"No one!" Kaito glared.

"No." Maki just said.

"N-No way!" Tsumugi said. "Kokichi, you've gone crazy!"

Kokichi giggled as Himiko spoke. "Yeah! No way are we going to go through with this plan!"

"Kokichi!" You say. "We are not going to do it! Please, reconsider! Don't do this!"

Kokichi went silent and then cheerfully said "Okay! You passed the test!"

The rest of the room looked confused.

"You passed the test!" Kokichi said. "I wanted to see how willing you were to escape and survive this nightmare!"

"You little-!" You held Kaito back from fighting Kokichi. Kokichi continued like nothing was happening.

"Tsumugi, you made these hammers, riiiight?"

"Oh, yes!" She said. "Now that you mention it, that bomb looks suspiciously like my own!"

"Nehehehe! Yep! This bomb with deactivate any electronics in a 50 mile radius!"

Kokichi then gestured to the hammers. "The electro hammers will deactivate any electronic it hits. So you can use this to escape! I'm going to be hanging back here if you don't mind!"

"HEY WAIT!" Kaito said. He grabbed Kokichi by his neck and held him up. "What's your fucking deal!? You've been acting really suspicious."

"Kaito!" You yelled. "Put him down now! Please."

"Kaito!" Maki yelled. "Stop."

Kaito looked over at Maki and put Kokichi down. Kokichi giggled and skipped out if the room like nothing happened.

The room looked silent. You looked over at the hammers and picked one up.

"I think we should use them." You say. "Just to escape. And I mean, even if you don't trust Kokichi, Tsumugi made them, right?"

"Well," Tsumugi says, "I made them with Mui's help. She knows a lot of technical stuff and inventing. She mostly knows how to hacker and overwrite programs. But enough of that, I agree. I can tell you exactly how they work!"

"Really? Thank you!" You say.

Tsumugi, Himiko and Kiibo grab the hammers. Maki, Kaito, and Shuichi looked hesitant, but grabbed it anyways.

Tsumugi explained that the hammers have a certain amount of change. Once the hammers were activated, anything electronic that touched the end of the hammer deactivated. Tsumugi taught us quickly how to swing them. Once all of us were ready, we all started to walk over to the manhole.

"It's a good thing you held back." Maki said to Kaito on our way there. "If you killed Kokichi, you would've become the next blackened."

"Yeah." He said. "And I'm trying not to kill anyone anymore too. Sorry."

"You are getting better." You say. "The last trial, I understand getting a little angry at Kokichi."

"A little angry is an understatement." Kokichi said.

"Agreed." Kiibo nodded.

"Yep yep." Himiko said.

"Same here." Maki said. "You should really start judging people for their actions. It's okay to get mad."

No it's not okay.

"Thanks, I guess." You say. You didn't really know what to say.

"Hey, we made it!" Kiibo said.

Thank God. You thought to yourself.

You made it down, guys going first, into the manhole. You all managed to keep trying. Himiko got knocked out unconsumed during our last attempt. Kaito carried her the rest of the way. Finally, you made it.

"Nyhe?" Himiko finally started to wake up.

"You're awake." You said. "Great! We made it!"

Kaito generally put Himiko down and you helped you checked for any wounds. Nothing even a blister was there. Kinda strange, but whatever.

"There it is!" Tsumugi pointed towards the big metal door in front of us.

"Well Tsumugi," you say pointing towards the control panel, "shall you do the honors?"

"Oh. Yes!" She walked over. You hovered over. She typed in 11037 for password A and typed in 2753 for password 2. The passwords worked easily.

You looked to see the metal door start to open and feel hope, only to soon feel a blistering heat coming from the door.

You soon realise a intense smoke was coming in. You use your scarf to cover as much of the smoke as you can. Tsumugi was falling to the floor and you rushed to the control panel. You typed in the passwords and shut the doors. You saw the others were passed out and you quickly followed suit.

You started to wake up to muffing voices. You started to make them out.

"KOKICHI, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"

"Humh? I'm just checking on (Y/N)."

You wake up greeted to see this.

"Nehehehe~! Morning sleepy head!" He said above you.

"Wait- What?" You quickly realize what position you are in. "AGH GET OFF!"

Kokichi got up and hovered over you.

"Aww man." He said. "Nehehe! So~? What'd you think of the outside world?"

"The outside world!?" Kaito yelled. "There's no way that's the outside world. That's just death. What happened!?"

"I can assure you that IS the outside world." Kokichi said. "Long ago, the world turned to ashes. And then humanity needed to make another colony of humans to keep the human species alive. So they decided to send 16 Ultimate Highschool students into space to to make a new humanity."

"That's why the Ultimate Hunt existed, right?" Maki said. "People were mad that they weren't being saved from earth's collapse. So they tried to hunt and kill all the ultimates. Which also lead to us faking our own death."

"Wow!" Kokichi said. "The previous Maki finally put two and two together! Too bad you haven't been using your Ultimate talent much though!"

"What?" Maki look confused.

"Nehehehe! So anyways, the colony didn't realize that they had a psychopath. Someone who was willing to sabotage the colony to have thier own twisted version of fun. A killing game. Seeing humanity's last hope soon shatter before thier eyes. That was ME."

"That was WHAT!?" You yelled.

You quickly saw Kokichi pull out a remote and press a button. Soon, the Monokubs mecha suits flung down in front of you all.

"I have the ability to do whatever I want in this killing game." Kokichi said. "I wanted to see you all become so hopeful to escape and kill each other and then see you all despair as you find out it was all for nothing."

Kaito brought out a knife he hid in his back pocket. "That means if I kill you, this killing game will be over, right!?"

"Nope." Kokichi smiled. "Since I actually hard wrote Monokuma's code make it if someone dies, even me the mastermind, then Monokuma would still have a trial and executed you."

"W-Wait." Himiko started to cry. "I-is this really?"

"H-Himiko it's okay." Kiibo said, looked like he was close to despair be trying to comfort Himiko anyways.

"It's okay?" Kokichi laughed. "You don't even know your own name! And Maki doesn't even know her own talent. Well, SUPPOSEDLY. All because I mind tricked you into forgoting your old lives escaping Earth. You could've lost an eye for all you known down there!"

"Shut up!" Maki finally yelled. "We can't kill you, but we can certainly restrain you. We can fight back and tie you up."

"Hummm..." Kokichi said. "I guess I don't have a reason for you to tie me up. Beside the exisals thing. But let's make some things solid while we're at it."

The red exisal grabs you with it's fist.

"Hey wait-!" Shuichi finally started to panic as he saw you get grabbed.

"Wait Kokichi!" You say. "Ow-! Stop please."

"Now then," Kokichi smiled, "I will be taking them now as my hostage! You ever try anything funny, and I'll hurt your all's precious (Y/N)!"

"Wait Kokichi-!" Before you could reason with Kokichi, you heard a loud yell.

"GIVE THEM BACK!" Kaito shouted.

"Nope." Kokichi smiled. "I don't think I will."

"Kokichi." Shuichi glared. "Give them back. Now."

"Man, you look so scary~!" Kokichi giggled.

"Kaito! Shuichi!" Maki yelled. "Please calm yourselves."

Kaito backed down, but still glared at Kokichi. Shuichi kept on glaring without changing his expression.

"Now then," Kokichi laughed, "Me and (Y/N) are going to take a walk around the block if you don't mind."

"I said give them back!" Shuichi yelled.

"Nope!" Kokichi said pressing a button.

You then felt a metal cobra squeezing you. The exisal grip was tightening.

"K-Kokichi!" You yelled in pain. "Please stop!"

"Okay!" Kokichi said. "Only if Shuichi stops! It wouldn't be fair if he didn't!"

As Shuichi was about to tackle Kokichi, Maki tackled him.

"Welp," Kokichi said. "While you two work things out, I'm going to take (Y/N) back with me! I'll see you later!"

You felt the exisal moving and held on. The exisal finally loosened it's grip and you passed out due to stress.

Meanwhile, Maki was still trying to hold Shuichi back.

"What the hell were you thinking!?" Maki yelled.

"What!?" He yelled. "You are the one tackling me right now!"

"Shut up!" Maki shouted. "If you attacked Kokichi, he could've done some serious bandage to (Y/N). What if her arms got broken!? Or her spinal column got crushed. She's never walk again."

Shuichi stopped resisting. He never even thought about something worse happening to (Y/N). He was just really worried about them.

"I, you're right." Shuichi said.

Maki unpinned Shuichi, and the they looked at the despaired faces around the room.

Himiko was non stop crying. Kiibo was just look towards the ground. Tsumugi looked sick and pale. Kaito had a mixture of despair and rage. After a while of not saying anything, Maki finally says

"We should head back. We can think this whole thing over tomorrow."

"Fine." Shuichi said irritated that they had lost.

Those others followed silently. They all went back to thier dorm rooms knowing not many of them will get much sleep.
