Read the title: This is a Hifumi hate-free page.

Now I understand if you don't like him. We all have our reasons, but from what I've seen, Hifumi is hated for things that literally a majority of the fandom does.

"But he obsesses over fictional girls! That's so gross!" I hear you complain.

Uh, excuse me, I am 99% sure you obsess over anime boys, so why is it so bad that Hifumi likes fictional girls? I mean, if I absolutely have to in order to prove my point, do I gotta pull up your search history? Do I gotta put you on blast? Cause I got your search history right here- (If you know what I'm referencing I love you)

"But he writes fanfics!" You argue.

And you read them.

If you say you don't read fanfics and yet you're reading this, you ain't fooling no one.

"But he misgendered Chihiro!" Okay, this is actually one of the only valid reasons to dislike him. I personally believe that maybe (key word maybe) if he had more time to live, and more time to adjust to calling Chihiro a he, then Hifumi might have stopped referring to him as a She. But he died before that, so I can't tell for certain.

"He fought over alter ego just to simp!"

Okay now it has been a minute since I watched THH, but I am pretty sure he only saw Alter Ego as a friend (in a weird way). He talked to them about his interests, and I don't think he programmed them to date him. Just....to listen, be a friend. It's kinda been hinted at that Hifumi doesn't have many friends (if any at all) so can you blame him when finally, after not having technology for god knows how long, and for being alone for god knows how long as well, you get a device that you could form a bond with? Yes it wasn't healthy, but Hifumi had no one.

But let's also not forget that some people in the fandom will also use technology to simp over fictional characters. Why is it when Hifumi does this, it's bad?

There are other reasons I didn't mention as of why people hate Hifumi, but my issue is that the fandom tends to be hypocritical of Hifumi, so I'm only naming reasons that are hypocritical. In the end this will always be a Hifumi hate-free page, and I intend to keep it that way.
