Ch. 2: Time for class, let's round up the rest
I'll be trying different writing styles for this story, let me know which one would be better in the comment section below
(Y/N)'s POV
I continued to walk down the hallway at catch up to Chisa, who was probably waiting at the end of the hall by the elevator to go to her class. "Why do these hallways have to be so damn long?" I asked myself. No point of asking someone that wouldn't hear. After walking quite a bit of distance, I saw that Chisa was talking to some tall dark skinned, tough looking dude. He is a tall, muscular man with an intimidating stature and is described as good-looking. He has short dark greenish grey hair, pink eyes, and tan skin. He wore some sort of military like uniform. "And who's this now?" I continued to approach the two, who quickly took notice of me.
"So is this the kid you keep talking about?" The man asked.
"Yep! This is my precious BB." She says as she ruffles my hair. I gently slap her hand off my hair and extend him my hand.
"My name's (Y/N) Yukizome, nice to meet you." He looks at it surprised but slowly takes it and shakes it.
"Likewise kid. Name's Juzo Sakakura." After we let each other go we began to talk,
"So what do you do?"
"Well, when I was a student here I was entitled the Super High School Level Boxer. But now, I'm the head of security."
"Does it get hectic?" Juzo shook his head,
"No, not really."
"Must get pretty boring around here then huh?"
"(Y/N) we need to get going, class is about to start." Thanks to Chisa, I had been reminded that we had a class to get to.
"Oh right. Looks like we gotta go Mr. Sakakura, see ya around." I bowed to Juzo and walked away with Chisa. She waved to him, and ran to me, waiting for the elevator.
"That kid must be special, especially with the way she talks about him. Maybe he could help us."
Classroom 1-B
Chisa and I had finally arrived in the hallway where our class would be. Chisa grabbed the sliding door's handle and opened it.
"Good morning everyone!" she said as she entered the room, only to find only four students sitting at desks.
"Wait, there's only four of you?" She asked in disbelief.
"Good morning to you ma'am." Replied a girl.
"Whoa, what's this about? Some random stranger just came waltzing into our classroom." a blonde child looking girl asked.
"I'm sorry, can we help you with something?" a red haired girl said with a sorry expression on her face. Chisa stood there looking at the seemingly empty classroom until I bumped her to move. I finally had a look inside the classroom and understood her confusion.
"You know, normally a school requires students in classrooms. Where the hell are the students?!" I asked, only to receive a scoff from a rather adorable looking young man. Yea that's right, I called another dude adorable. Got a problem with that? COME AT ME BRO!
"AnyWho, as of today I'll be your new home room teacher, Chisa Yukizome, isn't that great?" She finished with a smile.
"Oh this one looks fun to break, which do you think'll go first? Her social life, her health, or her sanity." The child said in a sadistic tone.
'What the fuck?' I simply thought in fear for my sister's life.
"Do your best kiddos! I doubled down on health insurance before I took this job." Chisa said with a smile as she pulled out multiple flyers for health insurance programs.
"Yea no joke. It was not fun watching her fill out all the paperwork." I stated with a slight shiver and groan.
"Thou art nothing if not formidable." The blonde girl said as she clasped her hands together and smiled.
"That isn't...really how we talk." The redhead informed with an awkward smile.
"What kind of bait and switch are you pullin' here?! Kizakura's our home room teacher." The boy protested.
Chisa clapped her hands together and simply smiled.
"He's nursing a bad hangover. Bet he's barfing as we speak." She says without a care in the world.
"Freakin' rush." The boy says under his breathe.
Just then, another door opened on the other side of the room.
"I-I'm sorry I'm late! I fell dow-Oh GAH!" She quickly feel to the floor, only to be wrapped in bandages and her legs spread out. "OH! Not again! Why does gravity hate me?!" she cried.
"NO CAN BE AS CLUTSY AS THIS! EVERY SINGLE MORNING YOU END UP ON THE FLOOR!" the small girl asked in raged at the other's action.
"HEY! Leave her alone you little brat! It was an accident." I quickly gained the attention of the whole class, who looked rather shocked at my outburst of defense to the rather clumsy girl. I begin walking toward her and knelt down to help her out of her entanglement.
"You ok?" She flinched, holding her arms up defending her face.
"I-Im sorry, please don't hurt me!" I grab her hands and pull them down so I could see her face and look her in her eyes.
"Calm down, I'm not going to hurt you. Why would I want to hurt such a cute girl like you anyway?" She looked at me with a shocked expression.
"Y-You think I'm c-cute?" I smiled, rubbing her back as I slowly rose up from the floor.
"You bet, now there, you'll be okay." She blushed bright red but slowly looked down to hide it. "Ok now back on topic, where's the rest of the class? Are they late or something?" I asked again, hoping for a better response.
"Truth be told, this may be all we get." The blonde girl behind me informed.
"Really? What are your classmates so busy doing?" Chisa asked, now joining in in the conversation.
"I dunno. It's not like I care either way." The child looking girl laxly stated as she slumped on the redhead's desk.
"Not to sound flip, but at the academy, no one really cares of you miss classes. So long as you hone your skills and pass the exams, you're fine." The red haired girl finished explaining the system of this school.
"U-Uh, I was trying to go to class but I fell down." The messy haired girl stuttered as she tried to while her remaining tears.
"Stop being such a suck up." The boy behind her demanded rudely causing the girl to flinch in fear and apologize once again.
"Anyways, who the fuck is that?" The blonde boy asked pointing at me.
"Who the fuck is you?" my retort caused the small boy to jump from his seat in rage.
"What'd you sa-" I cut him off by slamming a short combat knife into his desk, "W-What the-?"
"That's right...fear me." I quickly moved behind him and put my blade to his throat.
"(Y/N)!" Chisa yelled in attempt to get me to stop.
I began to chuckle which soon burst into an outright laugh.
"I'm just messing you dude! Look it's not even real." I bent my 'toy' knife which shook like rubber back to it's original state. "And to answer you question little guy..." walked toward the teacher's podium, which I sat on. "I'm the TA for this class. Name's (Y/N) Yukizome, nice to meet all of you, hope we get along throughout the rest of our educational years." I said with a smile. "So Chisa, you heard what they said right?"
"Yep, I heard everything. And I gotta say, this is complete mess." She walked towards me and punched me on the back of the head, causing me to fall to the floor.
"Yea, kinda deserved that huh?" I groaned in pain.
"I guess this is your lucky day!" She walked in front of me and pulled out a pink cooking apron.
Needless to say, the students were just as shocked as I was if not dumbfounded.
"Kay?" The little girl asked.
"So wait, you're an alumni?" Asked the redhead.
"Chisa, you seriously brought that with you? Where were you carrying it?" I asked in disbelief.
She turned to me with a smile.
"Well I-" I cut her off by lifting a hand in her direction.
"Scratch that, I don't wanna know."
As soon as we ended our short discussion, she began walking passed all the other students to the other side of the classroom.
"You're only young once you guys. Trust me, you'll be adults before you know it." Chisa started as she passed two of the students who questioned her earlier.
"How could you just blow off your classmates like they don't even matter?" When she reached the back of the classroom, she stopped.
"You know what you are?" She asked. She then dramatically pointed at the students in the classroom.
"You're a bag of rotten oranges!" She declared, catching all of the student attentions in various forms.
"Rotten what now?" The tall blonde girl asked.
"Oranges! Big fat rotten ones!"
Just then I stared to imagine what a rotten orange would look like.
"All moldy, sticky and squishy!"
"Ah! I'm sorry I'm squishy!" The bandaged girl pleaded for forgiveness.
"What the hell are you talking about?!" The child-like girl asked.
"I'm talking about redeeming your high school years! Let's go out there and find your rotten friends. We're taking back your youth right the heck now!" Chisa said so many things I couldn't keep track of what I should even care about the most.
In almost a blink of an eye, she bolted towards the redhead and stared at her straight in the eyes, right in front of her too.
"Even rotten orange can make a damn fine marmalade if you have enough of them!" She said.
"I don't think that's how marmalades work." The redhead stated awkwardly.
"Don't. Just roll with it. It'll be easier." I said with a sigh of annoyance.
The next thing I knew, the red haired girl was pushed to the floor by the tall blonde girl who appeared to be absolutely enthralled with Chisa's speech about youth.
"I couldn't agree with you more. This is precisely the kind of camraderie I longed for since I transferred here Ms. Yukizome." She said with stars in her eyes.
Chisa then took her hands in hers and plaster them together.
"Come with me dear child, it's time to fill these desks."
"Kay." She simply replied.
'Great, guess that's one on board the crazy train.' I thought to myself in disbelief.
Then, a loud smack erupted form the desk where the blonde boy was sitting. He stood up from his desk and clenched his fist tightly.
"Count me out! No one said I had to be friends with you sons of bitches." He said. Which resulted in Chisa pulling out one of her knifes and slammed it between his hand.
"Look at you, big woman with a blade, is that it?" He said nervously. Chisa looked up at him and gave him a dark, menacing glare.
"If it changes that additude of yours, I don't mind in engaging in some remedial subtraction." She said in a dark and threatening tone.
"I can't believe she's using the intimation technique I thought her." I said wiping away a fake tear. "I'm so proud."
"Can it teach! You ain't got the stones to-" the boy began to threaten Chisa in response but was stopped when she planted the blade flat on his desk.
"Jokes." She said with a innocent smile.
The blonde boy looked shocked at first but quickly regained his composure as he grabbed Chisa by the collar of her suite and pulled her closer to him.
"I was wrong. You've got the biggest pair here aside from that guy." He said pointing at me.
"Ain't that sweet. I think we understand eachother." Chisa sang happily as she swiftly moved her blade Calder to the side of his neck, which resulted in him letting out a short and light laugh.
"Crystal clear in fact. Lead the way ma'am." He said with a smile.
"Onward to glory!" Chisa cries as she waves her blade in the air. "The other rotten oranges away!"
With that being said, I jumped off the podium and walked to the other door, stopping to lift the clumsy girl off the floor by offering her my hand, which she took. "Alright, there's only so much of your motivational speeches I can take before I start weighing the pros and cons of a lobotomy by a soup spoon." I stated jokingly. "Chisa, can I have a look at the student attendance?"
"Why?"
"Imma go huntin', need to know what I'm dealing with and who to look for." She laughed and slowly treaded towards me.
"You're not going alone then, we're coming too."
"What?" everyone in the room whined.
"No whining kids, they're your classmates, and I'm their teacher. And I take care of my kids." With that last comment she opened the sliding door and walked out, leaving me with the rest of the would-be-class.
"Well, just to make sure we don't suffer anymore of her craziness, we should get going too."
"Why?" the small girl asked.
"Because she's right...to a degree. They are your classmates, you should at least try and get to know them." The room was then silent, until I heard footsteps coming towards me.
"I-I'll go with you. If you're ok with being seen with someone like me." I smiled and patted her head which caused her to flinch, but slowly accepted it and smiled.
"I will go as well. It may give us a opportunity to get to know one another." I looked at the beautiful blonde girl standing next to me.
"Alright, two out of five, anyone else?"
"*sigh* Might as well."
"Don't have anything else better to do."
"Alright...getting better." We all looked at the child looking boy, waiting for a decision to be made.
"ALRIGHT! FINE I'LL GO!"
"Haha! Atta boy, now let's go!" I opened the door for everyone to leave. "Ladies first." I bowed and allowed the to pass.
"Why thank you kind sir."
"T-Thank you."
"Thanks."
"Excuse me." I soon felt a hand on my shoulder, which soon revealed to be the kid.
"Listen, I don't like you-"
"Aw that sucks, cause I like you kiddo." I rubbed his head frantically, soon leaving him behind in a daze and confused. "Come on kid! We're losing daylight!"
"S-Shut up! Don't tell me what to do!"
"I wasn't, just giving a recommendation and letting you know."
"Tch, whatever."
