PS - I know I promise there will be artworks... but I couldn't find any good scene to draw that is possible for me at my current stage, and I don't want to delay it any further.

Lev led them outside and pointed towards a
large building that looked rather similar to the base of a hospital. They went inside and Shuichi could sense that this place is very special with extremely high tech everything, till he spots two very familiar faces much to his massive shock.

"M-Maki?! Himiko?!" Shuichi blurted out in shock.

He notices how familiar, yet a bit different they are. Maki is a young woman with dark brown hair in very long pigtails and crimson eyes while wearing a white uniform with a black mini skirt, tights and grey boots while Himiko is a slightly shorter young woman with wavy, long hair, and brown eyes while wearing the same uniform as Maki.

"N-Nyeh?! Shuichi?!" Himiko gasped.

"H-Huh?! but how... you're-" Maki gasped.

"Wait, can we talk about that later, there's people here!" Shuichi
quickly interrupted them as he pointed to Lev and Mash.

"Mm? Do you know those two?" Lev asked curiously.

"O-Oh! well... yeah! they're old friends." Shuichi explained.

"Interesting..." Lev mumbled.

"Ahem... can we put the tour on hold? I haven't seen my friends for a very long time." Shuichi lied.

"Very well... just don't take up too much time as we're having the Director's orientation later on." Lev explained to him.

"R-Right! of course!" Shuichi understood.

"M-May I stay with senpai?" Mash asked Lev.

"Hmm? Come to think of it, what were you talking about with them, Mash? That's not like you. Did you know each other before?

"No, I'd never met Senpai before." Mash objected, "I saw Senpai having a panic attack here, so I just..."

"A panic attack? How come?" Lev asked her.

"I-I don't know..." Mash answered.

"We should probably leave the three to sort things out." Lev suggested.

"Yup, let's."

With their conversation over, and with their tour over, Lev leaves the young teenagers alone.

Shuichi looks back and looks like on the verge of tears.

"I-I can't believe it... you... Himiko... you two are..."

"Wait, don't say it. This is a very private matter..." Maki called out to Mash.

"M-Mash."

"Mash. So, get out." Maki told her in a rather rude tone.

"Maki! Sorry for that, Mash. she's... hard to warm up to." Shuichi apologised for Maki.

"It's ok. I'll just keep my distance while you three talk." Mash said as she covers her ears and leaves them be for a bit.

"Ok... now, as I was saying... Himiko?! You're alive!?" Shuichi blurted out in shock.

"Nyeh... don't remind me..." Himiko tears up, "I-I don't want to remember that..."

"Right... sorry..." Shuichi apologised.

"What I want to ask is... how are we all alive?" Maki asked the two, which shocked Himiko.

"Nyeh! Y-You two died?" Himiko stuttered, looking like on the verge of tears as guilt crawled up on her.

"Yeah... after you were... murdered, I... well, I..."

"Shuichi killed himself." Maki blurted out.

"O-Oh..." Himiko stuttered as she began to cry, "Nyeh... that explains nothing though, how are you alive?" She asks in a weak voice.

"...we don't really know... at all." Shuichi admitted, "From what I learnt, we might have been reincarnated into alternative versions of ourselves."

"You don't truly believe that, do you?" Maki said in disbelief.

"Then how are we alive then?" Shuichi asked, "Wait... Maki, are you-?"

"Yes... I died a year after your suicide... because I... I rather not talk about it." Maki told him vaguely.

"That's honestly fair." Shuichi mumbled. "Still, the fact that we been reincarnated into this strange world is... nuts."

"We can't be so sure though." Maki said, "This... this has to be some cruel illusion."

"Nyeh... I'm hoping this is real... wait! Maybe if we close our eyes and pinch ourselves, we snap out of it!" Himiko suggested as she immediately closes her eyes and pinch her own arm, and quickly opens her eyes, "Ow... it didn't work."

"This is very overwhelming." Maki admitted.

"Yeah, but let's try to take one step at a time to avoid overwhelming ourselves." Shuichi suggested, which the two girls nod, "Good. First thing first... what the heck is that Fou thing?"

"Fou?" Maki asked him.

"That weird fluffy creature." Shuichi told her.

"Ah! I think I spotted it earlier before I met up with Maki." Himiko told them, "But when I tried to get close, it ran away."

"Yeah. I was told it keeps it's distance from other people except Mash." Shuichi told her, "Oh! Right, Mash. We should bring her in before we continue. Maybe she can explain some things."

"Fine, but something is off about her." Maki noted.

"Okay then." Shuichi nodded, "Hey Mash! You come in now!"

Mash didn't come, so Shuichi looks around the corner and sees her covering her ears with her hands.

"Ahem... you can come in now." Shuichi told her.

"Oh." Mash realised as she uncovers her ears. "I didn't want to eavesdrop on you guys."

"Thanks. We appreciate that." Shuichi thanked her, "So, the tour?"

"Sure. I'll show you around Chaldea HQ." Mash agreed to it.

"Cool!" Himiko cheered as the trio followed Mash from behind as she gave them the tour around the HQ.

Just as they walking through the hallway, they spot two very familiar people - a blonde haired girl and a purple haired, tall man which caught the trio's attention.
