Chapter 5: The Note
Needless to say, Satchiko and I didn't end up going to the warehouse. The lucky student had retreated to her room after the incident, understandingly so. Once she left, Monokuma had told us that since Cinder was only a cat there would be no trial for her. I was relieved, but still didn't understand how someone could be that sick.
As I sat in my room, I wondered about the message left. Don't speak... what could that mean? I didn't think it was literal, and at the same time, I knew it was probably directed to Satchiko. Cinder was her cat, after all.
I let out a small sigh. The message probably meant that Satchiko knew something we didn't, but because of it she might not come forward anymore. Was it a threat? If it was, then I could only hope that my friend would be careful. With the thought in mind, I couldn't help but be worried.
I laid down on my bed, staring up at the ceiling. I probably wouldn't be getting much sleep tonight.

Knock knock!
I opened my eyes to the sound of someone banging on my door. I groaned, sitting up and looking towards it. I stood, walking to the door and opening it, only to see....
Nothing. No one was there, instead there was a folded piece of paper placed on the floor. I bent down to pick it up, opening it up and letting my eyes scroll over the words.
Kazuki, I want you to meet me at the warehouse after the night announcement. Bring Katashi too. I'm not going to hide this any longer.
I remember.
~Satchiko Kobayashi
My eyes widened, and I gripped the paper tighter. If this meant what I thought it did....
I quickly left my room, walking towards the pianist's. I knocked on his door, and after a moment, it opened up. I was greeted by Katashi's sleepy face; there were bags under his blue eyes, which were slightly watery from exhaustion.
The magenta haired boy rubbed his eyes, giving me a confused look. "Kazuki... what is it? The morning announcement hasn't even played yet...."
I said nothing, but instead passed him the paper. He looked even more confused, but read it anyways.
Once he was done, he met my gaze with wide eyes. "She remembers...."
I nodded. "Looks like it... we need to meet her tonight."
"Yeah..." Katashi gave a small nod as well. "Well... thanks for telling me. I'll be there."

"It is now 10pm, and therefore is officially night time. The kitchen will be closed soon. Good night."
Monokuma had sounded much less enthusiastic than usual, almost monotone. I wondered if whoever controlling him was feeling alright today....
Pushing that thought aside, I left the hotel, walking towards the fourth street. It was time to meet up with Satchiko and Katashi, and I could only hope things went okay.
It didn't take long to get there, and once I did, I pushed the warehouse's door open and stepped inside. I immediately spotted Katashi inside, but he was alone.
I approached the pianist, who greeted me with a small nervous smile. "I guess Satchiko's not here yet." I pointed out.
"Yeah, I'm sure she won't take long though." Katashi replied.
So we stood there and waited, making small talk to pass the time.
Five minutes. Ten minutes. Half an hour. Satchiko wasn't coming.
