2. Komaeda Nagito
[Name] was probably the only person who thought Nagito wasn't weird. Or that was what he hoped.
Due to his luck, he saw her everyday, talked to her everyday, because he wished for it. Why? He didn't know either. She was like a magnet and he was a coin.
Nagito watched [Name] pass by with her friends from ajar door of the 77th class. He had a lazy smile on his face as he thought of how much hope it would bring him to hold her.
"Komaeda-kun!" Nanami Chiaki clapped her hands in his face and pouted.
"I just wanted to tell you that you're on duty today." And she walked away, turning on her game console.
Nagito chuckled under his breath. He wished [Name] would come to talk to him again today.
"Hey, Nagito!" [Name]'s face peaked out from the ajar door, her face with a slight blush.
"I- uh- nothing!" She shouted and smiled at him before walking away. Nagito watched as disappeared.
He felt something bad would happen soon and only wished the best for her. Only the best for her.
It wasn't long before Nagito's brain was messed with and he became the ultimate despair. He had been so close, so close to taking [Name] into the despair with him. So close, but Munakata Kyosuke had saved her, took her under his wing. Nagito hoped his homeroom teacher, Chisa, would at least bring her to him.
And for once in his life, his luck worked against him but with him at the same time.
The two had met again, met again when he had been revived by Hinata.
[Name] stood tall, next to Naegi Makoto, her classmate.
She looked afraid, yet ready to pounce.
Needless to say, she pounced at the same moment Nagito had appeared on the rocks.
She had her knife around his neck, biting her lip.
"I'm not going to let you go this time, senpai." She whispered softly in his ears.
He laughed.
"I'm here to help, [Name]." And he grabbed her wrist, hoping his luck would help him and not cut him when he pulled her towards him and kissed her.
[Name] was squealing her eyes wide, trying to push idiot off.
Nagito pulled away but didn't let her go from his arms.
"Let go!" [Name] wiggled.
Naegi was watching the two, chuckling awkwardly.
"You seem really weak for a Super High School Level Assassin right now, [Name]. Or maybe you don't actually want me to let go...?" Nagito whispered seductively in her ear.
[Name] kicked Nagito in the stomach and he flew down onto the gravel.
"Shut up!" She yelled and stomped away, Nagito chuckling and going after her.
"Not so fast, my little assassin." He whispered, gripping her by the waist and throwing her onto his back.
"Nagito!" Hinata shouted after the white hair boy.
"Nagito... what are you doing...?" Hinata sighed and shook his head.
"You know what, don't answer that." He sighed.
Nagito chuckled as [Name] kicked and punched him.
"Let me go, you idiot!" [Name] was already shrieking at the top of her lungs.
Nagito had a wild smile on his face.
"You know, [Name], hope makes me feel soooooooo... good." He whispered.
She paused.
"So? Weirdo." She hissed.
"And you're my hope." He smirked as she screamed and continued to kick him with red cheeks.
