Kyoko knew Celestia was the culprit. She had made Hifumi murder Kiyot- No, Kiyondo in cold blood and then killed Hifumi. Her devious plan to get the 10 million would have gone off without a hitch if it weren't for the art room slip-up.

Flashback

"We're going to die... Picked off one by one... Till there's no one left. Just- Just like they were..." Celestia
whimpered, despair etched into her soft voice.

Flashback end.

Or so they had thought. It was all a scam to blame Yasuhiro for the murders. It had turned out that Celestia's real name was Taeko Yasuhiro. It all made sense to them now. Why Hifumi had said "Yasuhiro.." In reply to the question Aoi had asked him on his deathbed.

But Kyoko needed more answers. She had even thought they were something after that discussion in her dorm last night.

Flashback #2

"Kyoko?" A voice came from outside her dormitory. Kyoko jumped. She had been immersed in her human anatomy book before this sudden voice. She realized it was Celeste. She opened the door. "Greetings, Celeste. You startled me." She walked back into the middle of the room and gestured to Celeste to come in.

" Kyoko, I need to tell you something. Now, this has taken me a long time to think about, no? " She twirled a few strands of hair in her fingers. Her pale face was lit up by a rosy glow. "What is it?" Kyoko pressed. She hoped Celeste hadn't found another body. "I have thought you to be a rather mysterious character... Since ze start of ze game. And I need to tell you... I felt rather intrigued. I... Think I have come to ze conclusion that... I like you. Do you return ze feelings?" She whispered almost inaudibly.

Kyoko thought about it. She wanted to agree and return these feelings she knew she had for the goth lolita but... In a dangerous game like this? She also figured she may never live again... So why the hell not?!

"I... I do.."

Flashback #2 end.

Celeste can't be the culprit... She couldn't! Kyoko wanted to scream, shout, and let it all out. But she couldn't. Celeste just stared with that crimson glare famous for unsettling her opponents. How could she... How could she do this to Kyoko?! She knew even if she graduated that her newfound love would be crushed ( like Kokichi on that press hm?).

"Celeste.." Kyoko started to speak.
" Shhh. " Celeste quieted her. "Do not speak. For I have a vague idea of what you are about to say, and I already feel the love and despair emanating from your mouth. But it cannot last any longer. You have to survive for me, no?" She took a few steps forward to reach Kyoko. She grabbed her hands and whispered the words Kyoko had wanted to hear for a long time.

" I love you. "

With that, she let them go. Kyoko noticed she'd slipped a key and a letter in her hand and a tear slipped down her cheek as Celeste's death inched closer. "Now, Pardonne Moi, but haven't we got an execution to get on with? I have not got all day you filthy bear." Monokuma laughed with such ferocity it startled even Kyoko.

" Leeeeeeet's give it everything we've got! Iiiiiiit's punishment time! "
