Nagito freaking Komaeda.
A.K.A : Hope Girl.

Hajime hated her. Every movement, no, every time Nagito did anything, it left Hajime scarred for life.
No one knew the reason, expect for the ahoge boy and the hope girl.

It happened eight years ago...

"Hey, Hajime!" The girl said, running up to her childhood friend, Hajime Hinata. She hugged him from behind
"H-Hey...!" Hajime said, blushing slightly. He never wanted to admit it, but he had a slight crush on his bagel- loving friend.

Did he just friendzone himself...?
But, today, everything changed.
They were in a room with a few other people.
"Truth or dare!" They kept chanting.
"Okay! Nagito! I have one! I dare you to show off your  luck!" Hajime shouted.
"Sure!" Nagito replied.

And at that moment, a meteor came down and killed everyone expect Hajime and Nagito.

End of Flashback

Hajime sat down on a bench on his own. He kept thinking about the Izuru Kamakura project. Should he go for it?

Of course he should, he immediately thought, but then began thinking about everything bad. What if he forgot about himself? Then... there was a chance he would start liking the hope girl.

No, that couldn't ever happen.
Then suddenly...

"Hi, Hajime!"

"HOLY ORANGE JUICE!!!" Hajime yelled a bit too loud... he turned around and saw Nagito there.

"What do you want?" Hajime asked.
"So, you're still angry... it's okay. Trash like me doesn't deserve to have friends..."

Suddenly, Hajime... felt guilty? No, that wasn't it! It's not like he felt sorry for her or anything!!!

But, before Hajime knew what he was doing, he shouted something:

"You're not trash!"

Shocked at his sudden outburst, the girl stared at him, not saying anything.

Hajime stared into Nagito's eyes.

And finally... he realised how much his hate for her over the past few years had effected Nagito.

To be more specific, it had turned her into the Nagito he saw today.

Without thinking, he placed his lips on hers.

Nagito's eyes widened.
Then, Hajime pulled away and whispered something into her ears.

"Sorry I kept you waiting...

Waiting for me to snap back to reality..."
