Byakuya Togami X shy! Reader

Requested by Aikita_Sukiato . Rip that's the only Togami picture I have that I can find. All the other Togami ones are Togamemes.

~Not in the killing game~

(Y/N)'s POV
I am (Y/N) (L/N), the Super High School Level Lawyer. Yes, I'm a 17 year old lawyer. I have participated in over 200 different court trials and won every single one. I come from a powerful family. The (L/N)'s. However, I realised from a very young age that money cannot buy everything. I had never had any true friends. They all used me to get money, causing me to become cold to my peers. I had joined Hope's peak academy because it is my goal to taken more seriously at trials. Because I am 17 (and, unfortunately, only 5,4') people always say idiotic things like "this is a trial for the grown-ups, not children" or "hey, this isn't a junior trial, you know". It really gets on my nerves. So that's why I was happy when I was accepted into hopes peak academy.

Outside hopes peak
I stood outside the gates to the huge school, thinking of all the unique people I would see. I would not involve myself with any of them. 'They would just want to use me for money.' I told myself. I looked at the acceptance letter in my hand. I was to report to the 78th class for the entrance ceremony. So I stepped into the hall.

In the entrance ceremony
I entered the room to see 16 other students sitting in chairs, facing the front of the class. There was one spare seat next to a blond boy with glasses and a ticked off aura around him. A bit like me. When he noticed me looking, he glared at me. I sat down next to him, not making eye contact with anyone else.

After a while, the teacher walked in with the school register.
"Hello everyone, I will be your teacher for this year. Now, before we start, I would like you to stand up, one at a time, and tell us your name and talent. We will start with you in the front seat furthest to the right." He said, looking at the smaller boy at the front with brown hair. "Oh," he said, standing up and nearly tripping over his chair. "I'm Makoto Naegi. The ultimate lucky student." Then the next one stood up. "I'm Sayaka Maizono, the ultimate pop sensation." And the next. "Kyoko Kirigiri, the ultimate detective." And the next. "I-I'm Ch-Chihiro Fujisaki... the u-ultimate programmer..." and it kept going until it reached the boy next to me. He stood up. "Byakuya Togami. The ultimate affluent progeny." Wow, the Togami family?! I thought to myself. I remembered doing a trial for them. Then I stood up. "(Y/N)(L/N). The ultimate lawyer." I stated coldly and sat back down. Then the girl next to me stood up. "T-Toko Fu-kawa. The ultimate wr-writing progid-dy." she stuttered. This was going to be a long day.

I heard the boy next to me call me. "(L/N)... you took part in a trial for my family." He muttered. "Correct." I whispered back coldly. "Hey! You two! You can talk later, after class!" The teacher shouted.

A few weeks later. Lunch time, by the fountain
I sat on the edge of the fountain by myself and began to eat the lunch of (F/F) (favourite food) that I had packed that morning. I had just finished eating when I heard footsteps next to me. I looked up and saw the blond boy from earlier, Byakuya Togami. "Oh. Togami." I mumbled, turning my back on him. "Just go. Leave me alone." But instead of leaving, he sat down next to me, making my cheeks turn a very light shade of pink. "What are you doing?" I asked, starting to get aggressive. "I'm only speaking to you because we are alike in a sense." He told me. "The (L/N) name has had a big impact on your social life, as the Togami name has to mine." "How did you know that?" I asked, genuinely confused. "It's not hard to tell from your behaviour." He scoffed. "Don't forget, I solved a case involving your family." I muttered darkly. "I don't appreciate being spoken to like I'm a plebeian." He looked away. "Sorry." He mumbled. "I have a tendency to do that. However, I would not be speaking to you if I thought you were a plebeian." I looked up and noticed a slight blush on his face so I decided to embarrass him a bit. "Ohh so what do you think of me?" I asked with a grin. He opened his mouth to answer. "Well, I-"
DING DONG DING DONG!
Fuck. I thought to myself. I never got to hear his answer! When I looked to my right again, he was gone. Baffled, I stood up and went to class.

In class
I was in the middle of a maths lesson when I had an idea. I couldn't believe I hadn't done it earlier. He sat next to me in that lesson. I wrote a note on a scrap of paper and passed it to him.

Hey, you never answered my question earlier! What do you think of me?
-(Y/N)

I passed it discreetly over to his desk, looking at him to make sure he answered me. I saw his eyes skim over it and it looked like he was mentally face palming. His cheeks went pink slightly. I felt a poke in my other side. Toko had passed me a note.

Bitch.

Well, that was nice of her. I gave her a sarcastic thumbs up and turned back to Byakuya. He had passed the note back. I turned it over and read the note in his neat handwriting.

I'll tell you later. Meet me by the fountain.
-Byakuya

Wow, it really that private that he couldn't just write it - oh. It's not. That is it? I couldn't help but grin to myself at that thought. Although I had only spent a few weeks with him, I felt some feelings towards him that I had never felt before...

At the fountain
I was so nervous when I was walking towards the fountain. I could see him sitting in the same spot as before. When I got there, he jumped up.
"(Y/N)..." he mumbled with a blush, making me blush because he used my first name. "I... will answer your question." Before I had time to struggle, his taller form had pulled me into a hug.

"I think you're beautiful."

WHY. IS. TOGAMI. SO. HARD. TO. WRITE. AND. WHY. DID. I. WRITE. SO. MUCH. I don't think I wrote this too well. It was slow moving and the end was rushed. T^T
