| Makoto Naegi *Comfort* |

No no no no no! I can't take this anymore! Everyone is getting murdered left and right. Plus I nearly got us all killed at the last class trial. This stress is absolutely unbearable. I don't want to be the cause of everyone's undoing! And to make things even worse, we've unlocked all 5 floors to this horrible school, there's no way out of here! The only way out is...

(y/n) walked unsteadily through the hallways. Her mind swirled with thoughts as her head spun with dizziness. In her left hand she tightly gripped a long rope from the storage room. (y/n) didn't care who saw her as she stumbled towards her dorm room. Nothing and no one would stop (y/n)'s plans.

No motives from Monokuma had been laid out yet. No one would even give it a second thought when suspecting (y/n) of murder. And they were right. She didn't have the heart to kill one of her classmates, even if some of them did get on her nerves. No, murder had never crossed her mind. But by the time 10 o'clock would come around, there would be a fresh new corpse hanging around Hope's Peak Academy. Another class trial that her classmates had to endure, the risk of framing the wrong person and getting themselves all killed. This was why (y/n) had to do it. The pressure, the fear, the anxiety eating away at her mind. You could almost call it despair inducing, but a small spark of hope still shone in her (e/c) eyes.

With trembling hands, (y/n) reached out to the cool metal doorknob, but someone's voice rag out though the hallway, stopping (y/n) in her tracks.

"(y/n)! I haven't seen you all day. I've been worried about you, we all have. Well, except for Byakuya of course, but you know him." It was Makoto who had called out to her. His heart warming smile, and light-hearted nature took (y/n) off guard, but only for a moment.

"I'm fine. No need to worry over me." she replied, staring Makoto directly in the eye.

"Oh. Well, can I come hang out with you for a-"

"No! I said I'm fine, please just leave me alone" (y/n) interrupted him, causing Makoto to jump a little .

"O-okay then...if you say so. I, uh, just call me if you need anything." Makoto stumbled on his words as he took a step back. His head hang low as he walked away to the dining hall to inform everyone that their worst fears hadn't come true. (y/n) watched Makoto until he disappeared from her sight. "I'm sorry Makoto." she whispered to herself before finally opening the door and closing it behind her. (y/n) looked down at her trembling hands, now gripping the rope even tighter than before. (y/n) then made her way to her bed, sitting on it then got to work.

Meanwhile, a small, pudgy, monochrome bear waddled around the school, a big smile plastered on it's face as it made a beeline for a certain student's dorm room. Jumping up to reach the door handle, the monochrome bear swung the door open silently. (because your dumbass didn't lock the door behind yOU!!) Quietly, it crept up on the anxious, young girl.

"Phupupupupupu." a distorted, and unsettling laugh erupted from the bear's mouth, causing (y/n) to jump.

"M-monokuma!?! What do you want?" (y/n) asked, still fumbling with the rope in her hands.

"Give me that!" Monokuma ordered, snatching the knotted rope from her hands.

"H-hey! I need that, what are you doing?"

"Phupupupup. Helping. I love a good suicide, well, what comes after it at least." Within seconds Monokuma had finished tying the noose (y/n) had been hoping to create. "There ya go! Have fun~" with that he threw the noose at (y/n)'s head waddling back over to the door.

Monokuma slammed the door shut behind him, gaining the attention of a passerby.

"Hmm. Monokuma? What were you doing in (y/n)'s dorm?" Makoto asked, worry clearly written his face.

"Oh, it looks like I've been caught red handed. Phupupupu..."

"Answer me!"

"Well, I wouldn't look in there if I were you."

"Wh-what! Why not? What have you done!?!"

"Oh, ya' know. I helped her make some improvements to her dorm. I just love redecorating. Phupupupupu..." with Monokuma's laugh echoing through Makoto's head, he threw the door open with force.

"(Y/N)!!" Makoto called out, hoping with all of his might that she would be okay.

(y/n) froze in place, her back to the door. She stood atop of a chair, staring through the hole of the noose. "Makoto, please. Nothing you can say is going to stop me."

"(y/n)...what are you doing? Did that darn bear put you up to this!?!" Makoto accused, unable to come to terms with the fact that (y/n) could be capable of such things.

"No, listen, this is for my own good, for everyone's sake. I can't handle this stress anymore, the anxiety is killing me. Plus, I honestly thought Hina was behind Sakura's death. I mean, how could I accuse one of my friends like that. I almost persuaded you guys of my accusations too. I nearly got us all killed, I don't want to be the cause for something horrific like that." (y/n) explained, tears forming in her eyes.

Makoto couldn't believe what he was hearing. No, he would not believe any of it.

"But (y/n), we all make mistakes, we've all been in the same boat as you. I know how you feel,"

"No! No you don't know at all!! You will never understand how I feel, feeling worthless, like your existence means nothing. Knowing that your foolish mistakes could easily effect everyone you love. I don't even belong here, my talent is nothing important." (y/n) broke into a fit of sobs, her warm salty tears running down her cheeks.

"(y/n), your talent is important. Being the Super High School Level baker is a gift. Honestly, your talent is more interesting than mine. You are so important..."

"To who? My talent can't help us at all in a situation like this. It's hopeless."

"(y/n), you're more important to me than you'll ever know. I-I love you." with those words (y/n)'s head shot up, she spun around on the chair, looking Makoto in the eye once again. I small smile tugged at her lips, tears still falling.

"Makoto..."

Makoto's worried face soon turned back to a warm smile, warming anyone's heart who saw. (y/n)'s heart filled with hope once again, the negative and anxious thoughts that fogged up here mind cleared away. She jumped off the chair with all of her might, pushing the chair over, as she bound over to Makoto, throwing herself into his arms.

"I'm so sorry Makoto, I don't know what I was thinking. You're very lucky to have found me in time." she said, letting out a small half-hearted laugh.

"I'm just glad you're safe." Makoto pulled (y/n) closer kissing her forehead. (y/n)'s smile grew as she hid her face in Makoto's chest.

Monokuma on the other hand had blew it, he jumped up and down in anger before stomping away, disappearing into the dark hallway.
