NOTE: For the purpose of this one shot series, and popular headcanons, I'll be referring to Chihiro as 'they/them', since it feels the most appropriate.

Celestia Ludenburg was sitting down in the dining hall of Hope's Peak, having some tea while sitting back. It was a bright and sunny day in Japan as she was happy to be enjoying life right now.

At that moment, another student came into the dining hall. It was one of Celestia's classmates, Chihiro Fugisaki.

"Oh, hello Celeste." Chihiro said, shyly. "I didn't think you'd be in here."

"Why, hello there, Fugisaki." Celestia said, looking at the young student. "Care to join me for some tea?"

"Uh, sure." Chihiro said, walking to the table and sitting down.

Celestia grabbed a teacup and poured some for Chihiro, before handing it to them.

"So, what's on your mind?" Celestia asked. "Any luck on getting stronger?"

"No, not really." Chihiro sighed. "I haven't been able to make the time for it."

"Well, that's too bad." Celestia said, before taking a sip of tea.

"I just don't know what to do." Chihiro said. "I want to be strong, but it's hard for me to come out of my shell. You know this just as much as everyone else."

Celestia took a sip of her tea. "Well, I think you can do it." She said.

Chihiro gasped softly when they heard that from Celeste as a faint blush appeared on their face.

"I'm not gonna be all mushy and say that you're already strong or that you're the strongest person I know, but it's close to that." Celestia said. "You just need the confidence to make something of the strength you already have."

"What are you saying?" Chihiro asked.

Celestia set her teacup down on the table and looked at Chihiro. "I'm saying that I believe in you." She said. "I believe that you can become strong. All you have to do is work hard for it."

Chihiro's eyes lit up when they heard those words. They didn't think anyone would believe in them this much, let alone The Ultimate Gambler, of all people.

Celestia then stood up and walked up to Chihiro, placing a hand on their shoulder. "I know you can do it, Fugisaki." She said. "Don't be scared. Do your best."

"Uh. . . th-thanks, Celeste." Chihiro said with a smile.

"I'll be headed to my dorm now." Celestia said with a smile. "Don't be afraid to come to me when you need something, okay?"

Chihiro nodded as Celestia walked off to her dorm. Chihiro blushed as Celestia's words repeated in their head.

"I just got to do my best. . . yeah, that's it." Chihiro said to themselves. "I'll get stronger. . . for you, Celeste."
