Wolf!Nagito x Little Red Riding Hood!Reader

You held the basket in your hands tightly, stepping into the dimly lit forest. You've never gone to grandmother's house alone, for it was always you and your mother.
But your mother was sick and couldn't accompany you, so you were all alone on the trip.

It honestly didn't bother you much. You were excited to go alone and wonder throughout the forest. Though your mother warned you not to get lost.

You stopped at the split in the path and took a left. The trees were a dark green, which looked beautiful under the sun. Some of the sun rays strayed to the ground, lighting the way for travel.

You were curious about the basket's contents so you took a peek. Inside your mother had packed some turkey sandwiches, bread, jam, butter(mondo butter ;);), and a bottle of her freshly made lemonade.

Your stomach growled just by looking at it.

Ughhhh. Why do I have to be so curious all the time? Now I'm hungry.

You skipped along the path, stopping at the sight of a beautiful flower field. You had always wanted to pick the flowers but you never got enough time.
You had never seen these kind of flowers, so you assumed they were rare.

"Do you like flowers?" A figure stepped out from the shadows.

You immediately jumped, stepping back and gasping.

"Oh...sorry. Excuse me. I didn't mean to scare you." You could see the figure more clearly, appearing to be a...wolf?

He had a stature like a human, but with wolf ears and a wolf tail. He had beautiful white hair, which was long and wavy. His light green eyes stared into yours apologetically. He looked about your age. You gulped as you realized this stranger was devilishly handsome.

"My name's Komaeda Nagito. Yours?"

"Uh...it's Y/N." You said slowly, wondering what the stranger's intent was. "May I ask why you're here?"

The man chuckled a bit. "I should ask you the same thing. It isn't everyday that a pretty girl in a red cape comes into the woods."

You blushed. "I didn't know you were a flirt."

"Haha. I'm not. It's just the truth madam." He winked, standing up straight. "I live here, with my pack."

"A pack?"

"Mhm. They're like my family. They take care of me."

"Ah. Well that's nice." You nodded. "I'm just here to deliver food to my grandmother."

"Ah. She lives here?"

"Mhm. Up ahead. I'll just be on my way then."

"W-wait. I have to show you all the kinds of flowers." He seemed anxious for you to stay.

"Oh. I've already seen all the flowers here."

"Are you sure about that?" He grinned.

You tilted your head.

"Come with me." He grabbed your hand and dragged you with him. You went further in the forest.

You both stopped as a wall of rock was in the way.
He lifted up some vines that was in front of the rock and let you in first.

You gasped as you saw a mini waterfall flowing in the cave, as beautiful luminescent blue and purple flowers grew in the cracks.

"Woah! What are these?" You stared in awe.

"See for yourself." The wolf chuckled.

You gazed at the magnificent flowers, amazed by the glow.

"They're called lumines. The pack leader came up with the name, since they glow." Nagito came up behind, gazing at the flowers with you.

"They're so beautiful." You whispered. "You're so lucky to get to see these everyday."

"Why? Can you not?" Nagito looked at you in confusion.

"No. I'm not allowed outside much. I never get to see these kinds of flowers at least. Thank you.....I really appreciate you showing me..." You looked into the wolf's entrancing eyes.

Nagito gulped, looking at you. He not seen many humans, but he had never imagined one being so beautiful.

You widened your eyes as you realized you had somewhere to be.

"While these are absolutely gorgeous, I have to be on my way." You quickly say as you walked out of the cavern.

"W-wait!" He said, after you were already heading away.

"Sorry! Gotta get to my grandmother's house!"

Nagito huffed, staring at the figure which was hiding in the shadows.

"You were supposed to make her touch the flowers you fool." The wolf came out from the dim light. "It was a simple task."

"I know..and I'm sorry. But she seems so nice-"

"I don't care about nice Nagito. She's a human, and humans will eventually turn their back on you and kill you."

"She wouldn't do that..."

"All humans are the same. You'll eventually learn like I did. Now, go after her. She said she was visiting her grandmother, which means more humans to kill."

Nagito hung his head low. The girl he met seemed nice. He didn't want to harm her. But if he didn't, he knew that the pack would not take a liking to it and he might get banished...or worse.

He sighed. He knew what he had to do.

You walked at a quicker pace than before, wanting to get to Grandmother's house in a timely manner. You just hoped she wouldn't call her out for being slow.

You felt a sudden gush if wind rush past you. You felt a chill down your spine.

"What the heck-"

But you saw nothing. You shook it off and went forward. Soon, the house came into view. It was a medium sized cottage, with a cobblestone roof and beautiful rose vines growing up the sides.

You walked up to the steps and rasped on the door three times.

"Come on in dearie!" An oddly deep voice came from the other side.

Maybe she got a cold...Oh poor grandmother. I must get inside and feed her at once!

You opened the door, which freaked slightly. The entrance was slightly dark, which made you a bit more confused.

"Grandma?"

"In here dearie~" you heard the voice resonate from the end of the hallway.

You peeled your head through the door. Your grandmother sat on the bed, covered up by the sheets.

You cautiously walked up to her, pulling out the refreshments. "Hey. Are you alright? You don't sound to good grandma."

"Oh I'm fine." She whispered still in the deep tone.

You stepped back, looking at her face.

"...what....big eyes you have..."

"The better to see you my dear."

"But....what big ears you have..."

"The better to hear you my dear."

You took a step back, trembling.

"What...big teeth you have."

"The better.......oh geez. I'm just gonna kill you already!" The imposter tore off the clothing and leaped at the you, who dodged the attack.

The wolf stumbled into the bookcase, dropping it down upon him.

That gave you time to run, stumbling into the hallway and out the door.

But it wasn't such a safe bet, as wolves started to appear from the forest's edge. They growled and ran as fast as lightning. You could see the bloodlust in their eyes.

You squealed and kept on running. You painted as you could see from your peripheral vision that they were gaining on you.

One, which was the biggest of them all, leaped towards you and pinned you to the ground.

You slumped, knowing that the fight was over. You knew you couldn't overpower a large wolf like that. You grimaced in anticipation.

But the claws or the bite didn't come. Instead, you felt the wolf immediately get thrown off you.

"..What??!" You looked around in confusion.

You widened your eyes as you saw Nagito in wolf form, slashing at the other wolf in a dangerous fury.

The other wolves seemed to not want to get into the fight, backing away.

Nagito pounded the wolf into the ground, knocking it out. He growled at the other wolves to stay away and looked at you with his eyes.

You gripped the ground tightly, trying to steady yourself.

A bright light glimmered in front of you. You blocked out the light and once you lowered your arm, you saw Nagito in his werewolf form.

"N-Nagito....thank you!" You reached up and hugged him graciously."

He chuckled. "I couldn't let a girl like you get killed. You're too special."

You blushed, holding onto him tighter.

"Your grandma is safe. I made sure to keep her locked in the basement so that Amami couldn't get her."

"Amami?"

"The one who dressed up and tried to trick you."

"Ah Okay. That's a relief...but why would you do this for me? I thought the pack was your family?"

Nagito glided away from the hug, holding your chin up with his long slender fingers. "They are wrong about humans. At least, wrong about you. I couldn't let someone like you die. I don't care if I get cast away from them, they're wrong anyway."

You teared up. "Thank you. Thank you thank you!"

He smiled, kissing you on the cheek. You giggled, giving him a kiss on the lips. He seemed surprised at first, get he soon gave in, kissing you back.

You pulled away, cupping his face. "I want to be with you Nagito...."

"I want to be with you too. You're the most beautiful-hearted human being I've ever met."

You smiled. "You're the most beautiful-hearted werewolf I've ever met."

And you two lived happily ever after~
