"Hey where are you going kid?" Mondo asked gruffly.

"First, I'm not a kid. I'm like-two years younger than you. Second, I'm going to Leon's baseball game. I'm going to be late if I don't pick up the pace."

"Oh cool." He started to walk away.

"H-Hey wait!"

Mondo turned to face you, eyebrow raised.

"U-Um..would you like to join me? I have an extra ticket!" You waved the extra ticket up in the air.

Mondo shrugged. "Sure kid. I got nothing else to do anyway."

The wind picked up while you two walked towards the stadium.

You shivered as the cold wind passed your bare arms.

"Idiot. You should've dressed warmer." Mondo took off his jacket and draped it over your shoulders.

You looked up at him with a surprised expression.

"Thanks Mondo. I appreciate it."

Mondo gave a rare small smile.

"Yeah whatever. Just don't do it next time. I don't want to die from the f-ing cold."

You chuckled softly as you ran a hand through your h/c hair.

The two of you swiftly walked to the stadium, right in time for the game. You took your seats and pointed out Leon in the field.

"Wooo!!! Go Leon!!" You shouted.

"They haven't even started goofball." Mondo grunted.

You rolled your eyes. "Yeah but it will give him extra prep! Ya know, I'm a pretty bad cheerleader, but he says he always feels my encouragement and it helps him. So that's why."

Mondo widened his eyes. "Didn't know you two were so close."

"I guess. I mean, we are just childhood friends that support each other.

"Yeah but you always speak so highly of him."

"Well I see him as my little weird brother, so I am his proud big sister."

"Y-yeah."

The crowd cheered as the opposing team struck out, while you did your happy dance.

"Don't judge." You pouted.

"I won't." Mondo smiled to himself.

It's actually kind of cute.

The rest of the game, you cheered for Leon's team and booed the opposing team while Mondo clapped and cheered with you. Also he cussed at the other team while you giggled.

"Yessss!!! They wonnn!!" You cheered and hugged Mondo. Once you realized he wasn't hugging back you let go.

"S-sorry! Sorry! I-i was just so happy for Leon!! Sorry!!"

Mondo stared blankly at you for a few seconds then shook his head.

"It's fine..just not a hugging person." He quietly said.

"Really sorry! I shouldn't have invaded your personal space!"

"Don't worry about it. It's fine." Mondo patted your head while you stared at him in shock.

"O-oh ok!! Ok. Um..well I'm going to meet Leon at Hope's Hotdogs. Wanna come with?"

"Sure. I don't have anything else to do."

"Awesome!"

Mondo smiled when you turned away from him.

Man she/he's cute. Maybe I should ask her..but I don't know if Leon has the same feelings. I should ask him first.

Opening the front door of Hope's Hotdogs, the scent of hotdog made your stomach growl...really loud.

"Heh...heh..I totally didn't make that sound or anything..."

You and Mondo laughed until your stomachs hurt.

"Hey Y/N! Hey Mondo! Over here!" Leon waved to you from a table.

"Congratulations on the win." Mondo nodded to him.

"Oh yeah. Thanks! Teamwork makes the dream work after all." Leon proudly said.

"That's so awesome! I cheered for you the whole time!" You hugged him tightly.

"Of course you were. You will always be my #1 fan Y/N."

You smiled, sitting down.

"And by the way, Don't worry. I'm a good friend to the owner of the shop. He lets me get free food here."

"Wow really? You must have it good with him. Who's the owner?" Mondo had an impressed look on his face.

"Nagito Komaeda."

"Oh I've heard of him. I saw on the news that he's also a comedian. He rolled down the street in a garbage can for laughs. It's now a gif. It says: I'm rolling trash! Fear me!" You laughed.

"Ha! I've seen that!" Mondo chuckled.

"Yeah. He's a funny one. I actually was friends with his friend that was friends with my friend. And so the friend that was Nagito's friend that was friends with my friend introduced me and we got along like toast with butter!"

"Wow..cool! Can we meet him!" You asked, your eyes sparkling.

"Fine. Hey Hajime!" Leon waved to he waiter and he came over.

"Yeah Leon? What is it?"

"Could you get me Nagito? I have some big fans wanting to meet him."

"Sure. Anything for you Leon." Hajime walked to the back of the shop.

"Wow. I can't believe we get to meet THE Nagito Komaeda!!" You fist-pumped the air.

"Yeah. I can't believe it either." Mondo said, smiling at your fist-pumping figure."

"Hey Leon."

(Imagine a slow mo glittery entrance with Nagito coming through)

"Woooahhhh!" You clapped your hands together.

"What the-"

"Hey Nagito. It's sick to see you again!" He high fived Nagito and laughed.

"You too Leon. Who are these people?" Nagito looked at you and you felt like fainting. (Lol)

"Nice to f-ing meet you. This is Y/N and I'm Mondo. Y/N is a big fan of your work. Especially since it's trash."

Nagito put a hand to his chest and tear drops formed. "Thank you! That's the best compliment anyone has given me!"

"Wow. It's really you!!!" You then fainted.

"Of course she fainted. Well I'm sorry to leave on such short notice but I have to get this klutz home."

"Wait I'll come with! Sorry Nag but I have to go. I'll see you tommorow tho. K?"

"Yah Leon. It was still sick to meet you." Nagito gave a smile.

"That's my thing." Leon sighed.

On the way home, Mondo carried you bridal style and made sure you were ok.

Once you got to the house, he sat you down on the bed and tucked you in.

When Leon was going bathroom, Mondo leaned into your face. "I won't ever say this but..I love you Y/N. Today, I noticed that. I love your smile and your laugh. And your weird happy dance." He chuckled softly.

"Mhm..." You mumbled, still asleep.

"Heh..good night sleepyhead."

"Wow. That was really sweet." Leon was clapping.

"Gah-what the heck?" Mondo half shouting-half whispering.

"I heard it all. Guess you really like Y/N huh?"

"Yeah..I do..."

"Well then. Looks like I have some competition. I'll be leaving, but I want to peck her on the forehead."

Leon leaned in and kissed you on the forehead.

"She thinks I'm like her brother but I don't feel that way. She's the only one who has supported me. The only one who has been there for me. I love her, and I want to make her happy."

"Same here. I want to make her laugh and smile. Even when she's sad."

"Well I guess I'll be leaving then. See ya around Mondo."

"See ya Leon."

The door shut as Mondo looked back at you, determined to win your heart.

Yay I'm done!!!! One of my longest fanfictions. 1300 words exactly!!
