{Time Travel AU} {Different Junko Plot}

Your world was ending.

The whole earth was plunged into darkness and terror.

Death. Horror. Despair.

It all because of Junko.

She did this.

She killed your family.

Your friends.

But you had the power to stop it.

Your powers converted the universe to shift, going back into the past.

You looked around. You didn't do this often, but it always made you throw up. You had time travel sickness. It wasn't the best. But it was better than dying.

"Woah! Are you ok?" A voice rang out, distorted by your dizziness.

"N-not really." You choked again, coughing out blood.

"Here,I'll get you the nurse!" The person ran off as you passed off on the grass.

You blinked your eyes. You were laying on a bed in a room.

Huh? Wtf? Where...am..I?

"Oh you're awake."

You recognized the familiar voice from the one who went to get the nurse.

"Makoto?" You gasped.

"Hey Y/N. Are you alright?"

"Yeah..I feel fine." You whispered, lifting your head up slowly.

Memories came rushing back from before.

You remembered watching the killing game.

You remembered him getting executed. You remembered Kyoto and Byakuya winning,just for both to get slaughtered by a monobear afterwards.

You shivered, remembering his execution.

"You look pale. Are you sure you are alright?" He said worryingly, scratching his forehead.

"I promise I'm fine. Just..surprises me to see you is all." You gave a smile.

He nodded, looking at the floor.

The door opened, your attention shifted to the woman in the doorway.

"Well Y/N, apparently you threw up this morning and then passed out. Probably from first day nervousness. Totally understandable." She opened a drawer and took out a bag of ice.

"Here's a bag of ice for your trouble or any pain you might feel." She smiled sweetly.

"Thank you." You plopped down from the bed, looking at the clock.

"9:19? I need to get to class!" You sped forward, giving a "thank you" to the nurse and makoto.

What a great first day...

"Miss Y/N! Are you alright? I heard what happened!" Miss Yukizome looked concerned.

"I'm fine don't worry Miss Yukizome! I'm just sorry I missed your class." You sweated as stares planted on you.

Even though I know what happens anyway..

"Oh it's alright. Take a seat." She pointed her hand to the seat by Fuyuhiko and Kazuichi Souda.

"Alright." You quickly made your way to the seat, looking awkwardly at the two men beside you.

As Ms.Yukizome started the lecture, Fuyuhiko leaned over.

"Pst. Just to let you know, the guy beside you, Souda. He's been acting strange all morning. Just don't be too freaked out when goes bats*it crazy." He rolled his eyes and smiled.

"Oh ok." You nodded.

Crazy? I don't remember him ever acting crazy.

"Alright my students! Now we are going to-"

"Each write our names on a card and put two truths and a lie." Souda said blankly, looking at the window.

You widened your eyes.

This DEFINITELY didn't happen last time.

"Souda,how do you know what we were going to do?" Miss Yukizome widened her eyes.

He shrugged nonchalantly.

What the heck? Something is definitely up with this dude.

You wrote down two truths and a lie.

If he really does this, then my suspicions are correct.

You grinned devilishly.

"Alright everybody! Exchange with the person beside you and guess!"

You looked at the pink haired boy beside you.

He opened the paper and didn't look surprised.

"The lie is that you had pancakes for breakfast this morning." He said without blinking.

You widened your eyes.

I knew it!

"My plan went accordingly." You whispered.

Souda looked up at you, narrowing his eyes.

He whispered ever so slightly, "You know what's going on here. Don't you?"

You smiled.

"I have no idea what you are talking about." You said with a bit of sarcasm.

He bared his teeth.

"Ever since this morning, I thought I was going to die. I woke up in my bed and realized it was the first day of school all over again. I freaked. I screamed and I freaked everyone else out. Everyone doesn't remember what happened. Except you." He looked back at the window.

"You never went to the nurse's office the last time. I knew something was up. But why me?" He looked at his hands in horror. "What happened? Do you know?"

"I'll tell you later. It's not safe here." You whispered.

He just gave you a nod.

(Timeskip brought to you by Hajime's ahoge. "Stay sharp kids!")

"So will you finally tell me what's going on?" He slammed the glass full of coffee on the table.

"Geez don't take it out on the coffee but yes. I will tell you." You looked around to make sure no one could hear you.

In the quietest voice you could muster you whispered, "I'm a time traveler. That means I can go back or forward in time. But with a price. I lose some of my lifespan each time I do this. Every time I timeskip, I lose a half year of my lifespan. When the tragedy occurred, I went back in time to this date. I just can't believe that you actually remember what happened."

Souda sighed. "Geez. I can't believe you can do that. Have you ever done it before?"

"I've only done it once before. This would be the second." You whispered.

"So you already lost a year of your lifespan?"

"Yes. Yes I have." You teared up.

"H-hey don't cry! I'm sorry!" He waved his hands frantically.

"It's alright Souda. At least I have someone that knows what's going on." You sniffed. "I need to find Junko and kill her. She can't do this to us." You said determinedly.

"I'll help you."

"Huh?"

"I said I'll help you." Souda smiled. "I want to help the world too. I don't want us to die because of her. So..what's the plan?"

"We find Junko firstly. Then, we follow her to her home. We need to find a way to kill her. But you know what her Ultimate is right?"

"Ultimate tactician. If you fight her, she's one step ahead of you." He slumped back into his seat, groaning.

"Exactly. So we have got to be careful." You nodded.

The next few weeks, you tried to follow Junko, but she always slipped away without you noticing.

The next day, you finally found her hideout. You went to Souda's house to tell him the great news.

"Omg really?? That's spectacular!!!" He squealed.

"Haha! Yeah! Now we can finally set our plan into motion."

You didn't realize it, but when you were discussing the plan, he looked at you with loving eyes.

"Souda? Are you listening?"

"Wah? Oh yeah uh-huh!" He stuttered.

You sighed. "Souda. Please listen. This is for the sake of the whole world."

"I'll listen this time Y/N!" He nodded, smiling guiltily.

"Ok. So I have this great idea." You smirked.

(Timeskip brought to you by...Hope?)

"Who's there?" A voice whispered, not afraid.

"Cr*p. She knows we are here." Souda whispered into your ear.

"I'm going." You whispered back.

But before you could go Souda grabbed your arm. He gave you a kiss on the lips before he dashed off.

"Oh. Souda Kazuichi. Didn't expect to see you here. Say, what are you doing here? Oh no matter, I'll just kill you." You heard fighting noises.

You couldn't move, you were too fazed by the kiss.

You quickly snapped out of it and peeked around the corner.

You grabbed your knife and stabbed her in the neck. She didn't expect you, but she quickly realized she was dying.

"Touché Y/N. Touché." Those were her last words as she collapsed on the ground, dead.

"We...we did it!" You breathed out in relief.

"Don't forget about the other sister. She isn't here but she could arrive at any moment. Be on guard." Souda whispered.

They were prepared. They set up a trap at the door for Mukoro.

The student didn't know what was coming as she stepped into the net and was stabbed in the back. Literally.

"Gah? What?" Mukoro looked shocked but was dead.

"Hurry. Let's go before someone finds out." Souda said, panicked as he ran out.

You looked back at this two corpses. "I'm sorry. But hope will survive." You smiled and shut the door behind you.

(The next day)

"Y/N. we did it." Souda grabbed your hands.

"Yeah. Now the world can go back to normal."

"Can I kiss you?" Souda blushed stuttering.

"W-wha? Uh..yeah!" You pressed your lips against his.

You wished you could turn back time to prolong the kiss, but you knew it was selfish.

"I bet you were thinking of going back in time weren't you?" Souda mischievously grinned.

You blushed badly as he kissed you again, hands in your hair.

"I love you Y/N."

"I love you too."

Btw the reason Souda could remember everything that happened was because he is actually a time traveler too. He just never knew. Time travelers remember the other timelines.
