It was your anniversary. One year as a couple. You two loved each other and were always happy. You and Saihara always had fun when you were together.

But what happened?

You noticed that Saihara was busy. A lot. Also, he never laughed as much as he used to with you. You asked him about it, but he avoided the question. He said he was just "stressed". You had a feeling that wasn't the case.

But now you were going to take him on a date. You were going to wear a gorgeous outfit and take him to a movie he has been wanting to see. He always talked about it. You were excited and started to get ready.

Your phone vibrated. You unlocked your phone . It was your group chat talking. You joined last night, but some of them didn't realize.

Y/N has left the conversation.

You were mad at Saihara. But rage turned into sadness. You had a wonderful year with him.The time spent on trips, games, and with each other and you both were happy.

You knew he loved you. He was loyal. He would even get cute jealously.

I guess it changed. But I'm going to get a straight answer out of him.

You slammed the door behind you.

You saw Kiibo walking up to your house. He waved. "Hi Y/N."

You waved back but looked ahead. He frowned. "What's wrong? You look upset." You shook you head. "Nothing." He came up to you and put his hands on your shoulders. "I know when humans are upset Y/N. I'm not that dumb."

You chuckled and rouge tears streamed down your face. "You...know Saihara...right?" He nodded. "He's your boyfriend. How could I forget? Wait...what did he do?"

"He cheated on me."

Kiibo's face grew pale. "He..cheated on you?" You sniffed and nodded. You wiped your tears and headed to Saihara's house. "I'm going to speak with him." You smiled and walked off.

Kiibo secretly followed.

Ding dong

Saihara opened his door. "Hey...oh." He looked at you with disinterest. "What do you want?" You wanted to punch him. But you refrained from doing so.

"I wanted to talk to you for a few minutes. I need to tell you something."

Saihara looked nervous. "Well...I can't really do that. I have to go somewhere."

You chuckled. "Where?" He looked at the floor. "To hang out with Kaito." You shook your head. "Really? I doubt that." He sweatdropped. "What do you mean Y/N?"

You smirked. "Maybe you were going on a date?" He looked shocked and then mad. "Of course I'm not! I wouldn't cheat on you! I love you!" You frowned. "That's not what Kaede said.." His face went immediately pale.

"That...little.."

"I want to know why you cheated on me Saihara. We had such good times and then...you did this. Why?" You teared up. He looked away in shame. "I...I'm sorry. I used to love Kaede and when she arrived in town...she asked me out. I realized I still had a crush on her."

"Then why were you being so rude to me?" Your tears didn't stop.

"I got...bored...of you. "

Your body weakened. He got bored of me? But we had so much fun!

"I'm sorry." He tried to give you a hug.

"No you're not." You said, shoving him away. "I'm done. I was going to make you feel better by inviting you to see that movie that you wanted to see. I thought it was the perfect time since it's our anniversary."

He looked up at you in shock. "It's our anniversary?" You nodded. "But you don't care. I'm breaking up with you, Saihara."

"What?"

"You know what I said."

He looked angry. "Go ahead. I had to cope with your stupidness. No one will love you. I didn't even love you." That delved deep. Those words were short, but painful.

"But I do." Kiibo appeared out of nowhere and looked Saihara in the eye.

"Kiibo?"

He loves me?

Your best friend Kiibo. He always cared for you, listened to you, and laughed with you. He never went away and was always loyal.

"You love her?" Saihara laughed and Kiibo punched him in the face. Saihara clutched his face and fell to the floor. Kiibo turned around, grabbed your arm, and walked away.

You looked back at Saihara. He looked at you. You smiled and put two middle fingers up. He grimaced.

"Thank you Kiibo." His beautiful eyes met yours. He smiled and stopped. He put your hand in his. "No problem. I would do anything for the girl I love." You leaned up to kiss him.

When you two parted, he sighed.

"Y/N. I know you might not be ready for another relationship..but I love you. I've loved you forever. I just wanted you to be happy. Saihara made you happy. So I pushed aside my feelings."

You teared up again.

"Y/N...will you go out with me?"

You nodded and gave him a big hug. He smiled and returned your embrace.

Kiibo never made you sad. He never cheated. He was loyal to the end.
