Mai bit her lip to hold back a sob as she kneeled in front of her best friend's messy corpse. Willow was laid on the floor in a pool of thick, fresh blood, her face still holding a terrified expression.

As the tears ran down her face, Mai looked up at the person responsible. She never would've thought that this small, innocent looking girl, could ever do anything like this.

Momo's white dress was stained with the blood of a girl who did nothing wrong. In her left hand was a rusty old axe, covered in the same salty substance.

"Why...?" Mai managed to choke out.

Momo giggled slightly, her face bearing a demented grin. She showed no remorse for what she had just done, instead looking proud of her work.

"Don't look so sad, princess~" Momo said, looking right into Mai's eyes, making a shiver run down her spine. "She was going to take you from me. She was in the way of our love."

"L-love?" Mai asked, confused.

"Oh, of course! I love you more than the world, Mai~!" Momo said, twirling around before dropping her axe. "I don't know what I ever saw in Kazuki, you are so much better! You're always so positive and cheerful, you're so adorable and sincere! What's not to love?"

"Y-you... you killed Willow..." Mai muttered, more tears falling. "She... she was my best friend...."

Momo kneeled down to her level, wiping Mai's tears away. "She was going to take you from me. We can't have that, now can we?" She gave a sweet smile, letting out a small giggle. "From now on, Mai... you're all mine."
