If you've read the Danganronpa Backstories Revealed book you know I have a theory that Taka's dad is an alcoholic. Going off of this theory, Taka has a distaste and hatred for alcohol. He doesn't drink. Well, not much at least. If Taka does drink it's always around other people and the drink he gets is always very light.
