This isn't a oneshot. It's more of an animatic idea.

Kokichi slid underneath the hydraulic press, switching places with Kaito. As Kaito slowly made his way to the camera and controls, Kokichi closes his eyes.

He stood in a gray abyss. A spotlight revealing Kaito turns on behind him.

Kokichi turned around. Kaito glared at him.

"So you found the place where the grass is greener."

He took a step towards Kokichi.

"And you jumped the fence to the other side."

Kaito waved an arm outwards, before placing it on his chest.

"Is it good? Are they giving you a world I could never provide?"

He crossed his arms, looking away.

"Well, I hope you're proud of your big decision."

Kaito shook his hands around his head, taking another step towards Kokichi.

"Yeah, I hope it's all that you want and more!"

He took another step, clenching his fists down near his waist.

"Now, you're free! From the agonizing life you were living before!"

Kaito was now standing directly in front of him.

"And you say what you need to say!"

He waved an arm outwards.

"So that you get to walk away!"

Kaito clenched his hand into a fist, holding it to his own chest.

"It would kill you to have to stay trapped when you've got something new!"

A flash of Kaito using his arm to protect Kokichi from Maki's arrow flashed in Kokichi's vision.

"Well, I'm sorry I had it rough!"

Another flash of Kokichi forcing Kaito to drink the antidote.

"And I'm sorry that I'm not enough!"

Kaito had a tear fall down his cheek. A spotlight turned on behind him, revealing the other dead kids.

"Thank god they rescued you!"

The spotlight with the other kids turned off. Kaito was now crying without restraint.

"So you got what you've always wanted!"

A flash of Kokichi staring at a rope tied in a noose.

"So you got your dream come true!"

Kaito pressed a finger to Kokichi's chest, pushing him back.

"Good for you!"

Each you was punctuated with a finger press to the chest, each pushing Kokichi farther back.

"Good for you! You! You!"

A flash of Kokichi holding the electrobomb Miu made.

"Got a taste of a life so perfect!"

A flash of Kokichi holding the antidote and pretending to drink it.

"So you did what you had to do!"

Kaito shoved him back, making Kokichi stumble.

"Good for you!"

Kaito's tears fell onto the ground. He pointed an accusing finger at Kokichi.

"Good for you!"

The spotlight illuminating Kaito turned off. Kokichi backed up, running into something. He turned around, startled. A spotlight turned on, revealing Miu. She had some toilet paper around her neck like a choker. Miu had tears in her eyes, hands clenched tightly at her sides.

"Does it cross your mind to be slightly sorry?"

Miu outstretched a hand, leaning forwards.

"Do you even care that you might be wrong?"

She smiled, mockingly, leaning back, with a shrug.

"Was it fun? Well, I hope you had a blast while you dragged me along!"

Kokichi backed up, again running into something quite large. He turned around. Gonta was being illuminated by another spotlight. He had tears streaming down his face already.

"And you say what you need to say!"

Gonta pointed a finger at Kokichi, accusingly, before pushing it off to the side.

"And you play who you need to play!"

Gonta held a hand towards Kokichi. Kokichi slowly reached out to grab it, before Gonta quickly made it into a fist.

"And if somebody's in your way, crush them and leave them behind!"

Gonta and Miu both took a step back from Kokichi.

"Well, I guess if I'm not of use!"

They both placed a finger on one side of their neck, before quickly sliding it across.

"Go ahead. You can cut me loose."

They turned around, both with their Xs on their face, walking away a couple of yards. Their spotlights never turned off though.

"Go ahead now. I won't mind!"

Kaito appeared with a spotlight on him again.

"I'll shut my mouth and I'll let you go."

He took a step towards Kokichi.

"Is that good for you?"

Kaito placed a finger on Kokichi's chest, before stepping back.

"Would that be good for you? You? You?"

Kaito and Miu started walking around him in a circle.

"I'll just sit back while you run the show!"

They continued walking around him.

"Is that good for you?"

"Would that be good for you? You? You?"

Gonta joined the walking teenagers. They all started yelling at him.

Kokichi looked around him at them. A  spirit Kokichi rose out of his body. While his body was still smiling creepily, his spirit was panicking, tightly grasping his hair, shaking his head.

"All I need is some time to think!"

The spirit Kokichi glanced around quickly.

"But the boat is about to sink!"

A flash of Kokichi telling the group he was the mastermind.

"Can't erase what I wrote in ink!"

The spirit Kokichi buried his face in his hands.

"Tell me how can I change this story!"

A flash of Kokichi telling everyone he didn't care about Gonta's execution.

"All the words that I can't take back!"

Tears fell off Kokichi's hands onto his body, and onto his body.

"Like a train coming off a track!"

His body simply stood there, smiling. You could barely tell he was faking it.

"Cause the rail and the bolts all crack!"

The spirit Kokichi took his face out of his hands, tears streaming down his face.

"I gotta find a way to stop it!"

The two Kokichis started to merge.

"Stop it!"

They finally merged into one, his body crying loudly.

"Just let me off!"

The teenagers started getting closer to Kokichi, still walking in a circle.

"So you've got what you've always wanted!"

They all pointed at him, stopping in place.

"So you've got your dream come true!"

They took another step towards him.

"Good for you!"

They closed in around him. Kokichi quickly pushed through a small space between Miu and Kaito and ran out.

"Good for you! You! You!"

Kokichi tripped, falling face first.

"Got a taste of a life so perfect!"

He stayed there for a moment, before lifting his head up.

"Now you say that you're someone new!"

The remaining five students were standing there. On the floor in front of them was the text, 'Who is the Mastermind?!'

"Good for you!"

Kaito, Miu, and Gonta all took another step towards Kokichi.

"Good for you!"

He pushed himself up, staring back at them. They all glared at him. Kokichi placed his head back on the ground, curling up into a ball.

"Good for you!"

Miu shouted, pulling at the toilet paper around her neck.

"Good!"

Gonta placed a hand on his stomach, also shouting.

"For!"

Kaito pointed an accusing finger at Kokichi.

"You!"

Kokichi stared at the top of the hydraulic press slowly going down.

"So you've got what you've always wanted!"

A hydraulic press fully closed, with blood surrounding it and a sleeve sticking out.

(Reasoning: I was listening to this in the car. This came up in my head. Kaito, Miu, and Gonta were chosen because they're the people Kokichi had a major role in their trial.)
