Kokichi bounced his knee in the classroom.

His crush, Shuichi Saihara, had just invited him to talk.

'It's something important,' Shuichi had explained.

Shuichi walked into the classroom, leaving the door open behind him.

He sat down next to Kokichi.

"You're probably wondering why I brought you here," Shuichi started.

'It doesn't matter! I'd go wherever you tell me to!' Kokichi screamed in his mind.

"It's....relationship issues.." Shuichi explained, pressing his fingers together.

"Look, I'll just explain."

Shuichi stood up and started singing, "Say there's this person you pass in the hall every day!"

Despite only being the Super High School Level detective, he had a pretty nice voice.

Shuichi turned to Kokichi, "You've known him since seventh grade."

Kokichi stiffened. He had met Shuichi in seventh grade.

"You're used to thinking about him in a certain way!" Shuichi threw his hands in the air. He faced away from Kokichi.

"From the persona that he displayed." Kokichi's mind immediately went to the liar persona that he wore that Shuichi had cracked.

"And then something changes..." Shuichi wrapped his arms around himself.

"And he changes.." His arms tightened.

"From a guy that you'd never be into!" Shuichi threw his hands out to his sides.

"Into a guy that you'd kinda be into!" He lifted a finger to his chin.

"From a guy that I'd never be into!" Shuichi pouted, looking off to the side.

Kokichi stared for a while, 'Cute.'

"Into a guy that I'd kinda be into!" Shuichi blushed, hiding his face in his hands.

"Is he worth it?" Shuichi flopped down in the chair to the left of Kokichi.

"Kokichi?" Shuichi turned to Kokichi, lifting his hat, exposing his hopeful eyes.

"Is he?"

Shuichi closed his eyes and sank in his chair. Kokichi turned to the doorframe.

Tsumugi was standing there.

'Is he talking about me?!' He frantically signed.

'Of course he is!' Tsumugi signed back, 'I've been controlling things as best I could!'

That didn't make him feel better.

'Keep it up!' She signed, smiling.

Shuichi stood up again, "Say there's this person that you never knew that well."

Kokichi looked at the doorframe again.

Tsumugi had been joined by Kaede this time. 'He is totally into you!' They both signed.

"You thought that you had him pegged, but now you can't tell!" Shuichi spun around.

"He's gone from a guy that you'd never be into! Into a guy that you'd kinda be into! From a guy that I'd never be into! Into a guy that I'd kinda be into!"

"Is he worth it?" He turned to Kokichi.

"Kokichi?~" Shuichi grabbed Kokichi's hands, a small grin on his face.

"Absolutely!" Kokichi responded, blushing a bit.

Shuichi released his hands, "I don't always relate with other people my age."

Shuichi turned his back towards him, "Except when I'm on the stage."

He turned around, raising his hands to the air, "There are so many changes that I'm going through!"

Shuichi blinked, "And why am I telling this to you?"

His gaze met Kokichi's. He smiled fondly, "Guess there's a part of me that wants to."

Kaede and Tsumugi started singing in the background, "Ha ha ha ha ha ha!"

"I guess a part of me wants to," Shuichi gazed off to the side, "Who knew?"

"I guess a part of likes to talk to you," Shuichi sat next to Kokichi.

"I guess a part of me likes to, "Shuichi turned to Kokichi, smiling, "Who knew?"

"I guess a part of me likes to sit with you," Shuichi placed his hand on Kokichi's.

"I guess a part of me likes to," Shuichi scooted closer, taking off his hat, "Who knew?"

"I guess a part of me like to hang with you," He looked at Kokichi.

"I guess a part of me, " Shuichi leaned in closer, until their lips were only an inch apart.

The singing stopped abruptly.

Shuichi blushed, and turned away, moving farther away from Kokichi.

"Back to play rehearsal," Shuichi tucked a strand of hair behind his ear, "I know that it's weird, but it's totally true."

Shuichi turned to Kokichi again, "The guy that I'd kinda be into.."

"The guy that you'd kinda be into.." Kokichi repeated, breathless from almost kissing his crush.

Shuichi giggled silently, "Yeah, that-"

"Guy that I'd kinda be into," Both sang at once.

Shuichi smiled, "Is~"

Kokichi blushed, 'Oh shit, is it me?! I hope it's me! I mean, most of the song matches up with what our relationship is!'

Tsumugi and Kaede anxiously waited from the door.

Shuichi looked away, blushing, and put his hat back on, "Rantaro."

Kokichi's heart fell.
