Now outside of the classroom, Jim and Claire were headed out to meet the rest of their classmates.

Jim Lake Jr: "So, where should we begin?"

Claire Nunez: "There's some people out here we can talk to. Let's start with them."

???: "Out of my way, Deku! I don't need you to follow me around all day!"

???: "But, Kacchan. . . we don't know where we are. It's best if we stick together."

???: "Ugh! Why must we be stuck in the same class again?!"

Jim Lake Jr: "They seem busy. Let's just go and-"

Claire Nunez: "Um, hi there. My name is Claire."

Jim Lake Jr: 'Nevermind.'

Jim then walked up to the two boys and stood next to Claire.

???: "Oh great. . . see what you've done, Deku? Now these two morons want to talk to me."

Claire Nunez: "Okay, that's harsh."

Jim Lake Jr: "Tell me about it."

Izuku Midoriya: "Sorry about him. He's just like this. I'm Izuku Midoriya. The Ultimate Hero."

IZUKU MIDORIYA: ULTIMATE HERO

???: "And I don't even know why. You're supposed to be quirkless. How did this even happen? I was supposed to be number one!"

Claire Nunez: "And who might you be?"

Katsuki Bakugo: "Well, if you must know. . . name's Katsuki Bakugo. And *I'm* the Ultimate Hero! Not Deku!"

KATSUKI BAKUGO: ULTIMATE NO. 3 HERO

Katsuki Bakugo: "But when I went to sign up, the Ultimate Hero title was already taken by this idiot. And there was someone else who had the number two spot, so I'm stuck with being number three."

Izuku Midoriya: "I didn't mean to steal your spotlight, I swear! It just happened that way! Maybe if you would've signed up before me-"

Katsuki Bakugo: "SHUT UP, NERD! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!"

With that said, Katsuki left the scene, stomping angrily the whole way.

Izuku Midoriya: ". . ."

Jim Lake Jr: "Wow, he must hate you or something."

Izuku Midoriya: "Oh, it's not that. We were actually pretty good friends in grade school. But when he got his quirk. . . things just happened to change for the worst."

Claire Nunez: "You keep saying that. The word 'quirk'. What does that even mean?"

Izuku Midoriya: "Oh. . . it'll be a long history lesson if I tell you right now. But if you really want to know, then I can tell you. You see, it all started when. . ."

Izuku continued to rant about his society and how super-powered humans came to be and how he was quirkless and that he wanted to be a pro hero someday. . . it just went on and on, seemingly never-ending.

Claire Nunez: "Uh huh. . ."

Jim Lake Jr: "Let's just go. I bet he won't even notice we're gone."

Jim then took Claire's hand as they both sped away from the mumbling Izuku, hoping that he wouldn't be upset about this later.

Jim and Claire kept walking until they made it out if the hallway and into a large area with different rooms all around them. And there was a student with red and white colored hair standing in front of a door.

???: "Hmm. . . it seems these rooms are locked. I guess we're not allowed here yet."

Jim Lake Jr: "Um, hi there. What are you doing?"

???: "Oh, hey. I'm just trying these doors. None of these other rooms seem to be open yet. I wonder why."

Jim Lake Jr: "Oh, well I'm Jim Lake Jr."

Claire Nunez: "And I'm Claire Nunez."

???: ". . ."

Jim Lake Jr: "Uh. . . and you are?"

Shoto Todoroki: ". . . I'm Shoto Todoroki."

SHOTO TODOROKI: ULTIMATE NO. 2 HERO

Claire Nunez: "Wait, aren't you an ultimate hero, too? I remember reading up on you, specifically."

Shoto Todoroki: "Yeah, I'm Ultimate Number Two. Unfortunately, someone got to sign up before me. But I don't really mind it. I didn't even sign myself up to go here, anyway. My father just handed in a recommendation and they accepted."

Claire Nunez: "Wait, you can do that?"

Jim Lake Jr: "Oh, right. . . I remember reading that thread. Famous hero, Endeavor, signed a recommendation to allow his son to go to Hope's Peak without any applications."

Shoto Todoroki: "Yep. . . that's my dad."

Claire Nunez: "Dang, well seems like you've got a legacy to live up to."

Shoto just sighed as he walked away from the two of them.

Claire Nunez: "Did I say something wrong?"

Jim Lake Jr: "Let's just keep seeing who else is here."

Jim and Claire then continued walking to see who else they could meet.

Eventually, they ended up in a large open space with different areas to go to. There was the dining hall, the laundry room, and a bathhouse with a locker room.

Standing in front of the bathhouse, was two teenagers, a boy and a girl. The girl had long red hair and the boy had brown hair.

???: "Give it up, Issei. It's locked."

???: "Aw man! The one place where I can have my dreams come true isn't open to us yet! I hate this!"

???: "Don't get too upset, Issei. You see me naked on the daily. It's nothing new to you at this point."

Jim Lake Jr: "Um, hi there. What's going on?"

???: "Oh, it's you. Hey, do you think you can use your amazing shadow magic on this door. Maybe create a portal or something, so I can get in there!"

Claire Nunez: "Why would you want to go in there? What if we're not even allowed to go in there yet? Also, no."

???: "Awwwww. . ."

Rias Gremory: "Don't worry about my pawn. He's always like this. I'm Rias Gremory. The Ultimate Club President."

RIAS GREMORY: ULTIMATE CLUB PRESIDENT

Claire Nunez: "Ooh, a club president? What club do you run?"

Rias Gremory: "Well, I *did* lead my school's Occult Club for some time."

Jim Lake Jr: "Your school had an Occult club?"

Rias Gremory: "Well. . . it's complicated. It's better that I don't tell the story now."

Jim Lake Jr: 'Weird. . . she seems rather dismissive about that. Is there something else going on with her?'

Issei Hyodo: "I'm Issei Hyodo. Now, before you judge or decided to back away. . . I did not choose my Ultimate talent."

ISSEI HYODO: ULTIMATE PERVERT

Jim Lake Jr: "Oh yeah. . . I saw your name in the thread. You're the Ultimate-"

Claire Nunez: "Pervert. . ."

Issei Hyodo: "Yeah, I needed a cover-up, so. . . that's what it ended up being. But I didn't choose it. One of the other club members did without my knowledge."

Rias Gremory: "Well, we needed you to be *something*. And I thought it was funny. . . and true."

Issei Hyodo: "Damn it, Koneko. . . I'll never forgive you for this."

Claire Nunez: "Yeah, at least I know to stay as far from you as possible."

Jim Lake Jr: "Honestly, though. And what do you mean by 'cover-up'?"

Rias Gremory: ". . ."

Issei Hyodo: "Oh, um. . . it's nothing."

Rias just smiled and rolled her eyes playfully at his remark.

Claire Nunez: "Okay. . . I'm just gonna go before I become a victim of The Ultimate Pervert."

Issei Hyodo: "Hey!"

Rias Gremory: "Well, goodbye then. See you around."

Jim and Claire then quickly backed a way as Issei continued to keep trying to open the bathhouse door.

Jim Lake Jr: 'They're a strange pair, for sure. There's definitely more to them then they're letting on.'
