Monokuma: "Ahem. . . Good Morning, students! Rise and Shine! It's time to head into another amazing day!"

Jim opened his eyes and slowly sat up in his bed. He wasn't a fan of being woken up by the high pitched voice of Monokuma, but he had to play by his rules. And he unfortunately couldn't say or do anything about it. He just got up and headed to the dining area to have some breakfast.

But when he got to the dining area, he noticed that he was one of the only other people there. The other person was Claire.

Jim Lake Jr: "Huh. . . no one else is here."

Claire Nunez: "Oh, hey Jim."

Jim Lake Jr: "Hey, Claire."

Claire Nunez: "Yeah, I think everyone is exhausted from yesterday. A lot had happened. It must have been too much for our minds."

Jim Lake Jr: "It wasn't that bad. But I, for one, don't trust Lila as our leader. She's got to be hiding something. What if she has an evil plan?"

Suddenly, Claire looked passed Jim and saw someone walking by the dining hall doors.

Claire Nunez: "Huh? I just saw someone."

Jim Lake Jr: "Where?"

Claire Nunez: "Right outside in the main hall. They passed right by the door."

Jim Lake Jr: "Really?"

Claire Nunez: "We might have some time before everyone arrives. Maybe we should check it out."

Katsuki Bakugo: "What are you damn nerds talking about?"

Jim Lake Jr: ". . ."

Claire Nunez: ". . ."

Katsuki Bakugo: "Hey, don't ignore me!"

Izuku Midoriya: "Kacchan. . . chill out for a second."

Katsuki Bakugo: "Shut up! And don't tell me to chill out! Do you wanna die?!"

Izuku Midoriya: "Uwwaaaahhh?!"

Claire Nunez: "Uh. . . maybe later then."

. . . .

Soon enough, everyone else had arrived in the dining hall to eat breakfast.

No one said a word the whole time. It was quite awkward.

Shinobu Kocho: "So, uh. . . how is everybody doing? Did you all sleep well?"

Issei Hyodo: "No. . . how *could* I sleep in this hellhole? It's almost impossible knowing what we're a part of."

Rias Gremory: "Luckily I was there to help out with that, huh?"

Issei Hyodo: "Yes. And I'm forever grateful for your presence, Rias."

Claire Nunez: ". . ."

Issei Hyodo: "What?"

Rouge: "Are you guys in a relationship or something?"

Rias Gremory: "What? No!"

Issei Hyodo: "Yeah! We're not in a relationship! She just lets me see her boobs from time to time."

Raph: "Bro. . . TMI, dude."

Shoot Todoroki: "So, are we gonna do some more investigating or what?"

Lila Rossi: "As your leader, I say that we continue to search for an escape!"

Rias Gremory: ". . ."

Shinobu Kocho: "I agree. Let's all split up and keep searching around. Kanao, you can come with me."

Kanao Tsuyuri: ". . ."

Kanao just left the dining hall.

Shinobu Kocho: "Kanao. . . ?"

Knuckles: "Where is she going off to?"

Douxie: "I'll be heading out as well. Thanks for breakfast."

With that, Douxie also left the dining hall.

Lila Rossi: "Uh. . . you're all dismissed, I guess."

One after another, everyone left the dining hall to investigate some more to find a potential escape.

After searching around for a few hours, Jim went back to his room to rest for a bit as it was almost nighttime.

*DING DONG BING BONG*

Monokuma: "Ahem. . . this is a school announcement. It is now 10 PM. As such, it is officially nighttime. And the doors to the dining hall will be locked. Make sure you're all sleeping in a dorm room, and goodnight! I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!"

. . .

Jim Lake Jr: 'It's nighttime again. There goes another day wasted. I guess I should get some sleep.'

With that, Jim fell fast asleep.

*DING DONG BING BONG*

Monokuma: "Ahem. . . Good Morning, students! Rise and Shine! It's time to head into another amazing day!"

Jim woke up and sat up in his bed. He just immediately went over to the dining area to meet up with everyone.

But when he went to meet up with everyone, he ran into someone.

Douxie: "Oh, good morning, Jim."

Jim Lake Jr: "Good Morning, Douxie. Are you headed to the dining area as well?"

Douxie: "Yeah. . . of course."

Jim Lake Jr: ". . ."

Douxie: "Ok, let's go."

With that said, Jim and Douxie went into the dining area. And everyone was waiting for them there. Well, almost.

Claire Nunez: "Good Morning, Jim."

Jim Lake Jr: "Hey, Claire. Not everyone is here?"

Izuku Midoriya: "Well, I tried to get Kacchan to join us, but. . ."

Shoto Todoroki: "He rejected you?"

Izuku Midoriya: "Well, he's not a big people person. He'll warm up to us someday. And you'll warm up to him."

Rias Gremory: "And as for Loona and Shinobu, they said they'd join us later."

Issei Hyodo: "Well, Shinobu promised to join us later. Loona just told us to fuck off."

Raphael: "That sounds about right."

Lila Rossi: "Normally, I wouldn't tolerate this kind of behavior, but I'll allow it this one time. I understand that we're still getting used to our new environment. And some people adapt slower than others."

Claire Nunez: "Ugh. . . why do I hate the way you say that so much?"

Knuckles: "So, are we just gonna investigate like normal?"

Rouge: "I'll be honest, I'm not sure how much more of that I can handle."

Monokuma: "Yeah, it is kind of boring, huh?"

Jim Lake Jr: ". . . ."

Issei Hyodo: "Holy shit! That thing just came out of nowhere!"

Monokuma: "I was here the whole time, you jerks! And where are the rest of you?"

Izuku Midoriya: "They're not here right now."

Monokuma: "Oh, I have a solution for that."

At that moment, the monitor came on and Monokuma appeared on the screen.

Monokuma: "Ahem. . . attention, students! This is a school-wide announcement! Please report to the dining area immediately!"

. . . .

Monokuma: "There. That should get everyone over here."

As he said that, the rest of the students arrived at the dining area.

Katsuki Bakugo: "What the hell do you want?!"

Loona: "Yeah, I was just trying to ignore all of you for a day. I can't just have that?"

Monokuma: "I called you all here because I have a special announcement to make."

Shinobu Kocho: "An announcement?"

Monokuma: "I know it's only your second day here, but if you don't start killing, then it will only get boring! So, I've come up with a little motive idea."

Rias Gremory: "A motive?"

Monokuma: "You guys are too friendly with each other. And I can't have that! So, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to give you all a special reason to kill!"

Izuku Midoriya: "Even if you give us a motive, we'll never kill anyone! There's nothing that will make us follow your orders, you villain!"

Monokuma: "Oh? Not even a. . . get out of jail free card?"

Izuku Midoriya: "Huh?"

Monokuma then pulled out a small piece of paper with some writing on it.

Monokuma: "Ta-Da! Introducing that one and only special escape card! If someone kills another person, then they can admit it right away and grab this free ticket to escape without any repercussions! Doesn't that sound amazing?"

Issei Hyodo: "You bastard! You're trying to motivate us with a free escape? That's just low!"

Katsuki Bakugo: "Please just let me kill him already!"

Monokuma: "Think of it as a perk. And it's the only one of its kind. So, of you're the first to kill, you won't have to go through a class trial. And furthermore, you won't get executed!"

Knuckles: "That's messed up! Using our will to get out of here against us? What do you take us for?"

Monokuma: "Well, I guess we'll see what happens. I know you're so eager to get out of here, that I had to whip *something* up to get the killing started."

Lila Rossi: "So, you're promising a free escape of someone gets killed?"

Monokuma: "Only for the culprit."

Katsuki Bakugo: "Alright then! Who feels like dying tonight?! I'll take care of it for you!"

Izuku Midoriya: "K-Kacchan!"

Shoto Todoroki: "Wow, you're quick to get into it."

Katsuki Bakugo: "I don't want to live in this hellhole forever! So, who's gonna give their life to me, so I can get out of here?!"

Suddenly, Bakugo felt a soft, but aggressive hit on the back of his neck, causing him to fall unconscious to the ground. Everyone looked over in shock to see who had knocked him out.

Kanao Tsuyuri: ". . ."

Shinobu Kocho: "Kanao. . . that was brutal. But, admittedly, it was well-deserved."

Loona: "Finally, someone had the balls to shut him up."

Izuku Midoriya: "I'm so sorry about him, everyone. He's not usually this aggressive."

Shoto Todoroki: "Yes, he is."

Izuku Midoriya: ". . ."

Monokuma: "Anyway, take this as you will. I'll be going now."

With that said, Monokuma disappeared once again. And everyone was back to feeling on edge. A new motive being revealed that would let the first killer go free without any consequences? That *had* to be a joke.

Izuku Midoriya: "So, um. . . anyone gonna help me take Kacchan to his room?"

Shoto Todoroki: "I will."

With that, Izuku and Shoto picked up Bakugo and took him to his room. And soon enough, everyone else left the dining area to do their own thing.
