*DING DONG DONG DING*

Monokuma: "A body has been discovered! After a certain amount of time has passed, a class trial will begin! Everyone please gather in the infirmary."

Claire Nunez: "What the heck was that?"

Douxie: "Confirmation. Izuku Midoriya. . . is dead."

Jim Lake Jr: "No. . . there's no way. Did he die from the wound he got from our trap?"

Claire Nunez: "He couldn't have! He shouldn't have lost too much blood."

Douxie: "I guess there's one way to find out, right?"

Monokuma: "Oops. . . I guess I got a little ahead of myself there. But no biggie! I can explain. The class trial will begin soon after a body is discovered. During the time in between, you'll have to investigate the crime scene thoroughly and father evidence to try and pinpoint the culprit."

Claire Nunez: "Oh yeah. . . we have to investigate the body now."

At that moment, the rest of the students piled in the infirmary as Monokuma had said.

Loona: "So, someone finally died, huh? It's about time. Who was it?"

Shoto Todoroki: "Midoriya. . . don't tell me. . ."

Katsuki Bakugo: ". . ."

Shinobu Kocho: "Oh, that is quite unfortunate. He seemed like a nice boy. Shame that he was the first to go."

Monokuma: "I see everyone had arrived. And just in time, too."

Raphael: "Oh, you're here."

Douxie: "Wait. . . if you're here, then answer me one question."

Monokuma: "Okay?"

Douxie: "Was Izuku the traitor?"

Issei Hyodo: "Traitor? What are you talking about?"

Monokuma: "Yeah, I don't know what you're talking about."

Douxie: "Yeah, you do! There's a traitor among us! And you're gonna tell me-"

Monokuma: "He's not the traitor, okay?! Geez, you're so insistent! It makes me mad!"

Douxie: "So, you admit there's a traitor in here?"

Monokuma: ". . . I only came to give you an important piece of evidence that you'll need to solve this murder."

As he said that, everyone's e-handbook made a noise and they all pulled it out to look at it. And all that popped up was a page with all the information about the case.

Monokuma: "Enter The Monokuma E-File! I sent a digital file with the basic details of the murder for you to look at. It will help a lot during the trial and investigation."

Rias Gremory: "Wait, so how much do you know about the case?"

Monokuma; "I know enough. But it's up to you to look around and figure this out yourself. Toodles!"

With that, Monokuma left the infirmary.

Knuckles: "And he's gone again."

Rias Gremory: "Well, you guys heard the bear. Let's get started."

Lila Rossi: "Hey, I'm the leader, remember? But yeah, let's get started."

Rias Gremory: ". . ."

Jim Lake Jr: 'This it really happening, huh? I guess I just have to do it. Don't worry, Izuku. We'll find your killer and make them pay!'

INVESTIGATION START!

Jim Lake Jr: 'So, we just have to read up on the Monokuma File? I guess I can start with that.'

Jim then took out his e-handbook and took a look at the E-File.

Jim Lake Jr: 'Huh? This isn't much to go off of, is it? To think this is supposed to help us.'

*MONOKUMA E-FILE #1 HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE TRUTH BULLETS*

Katsuki Bakugo: "This is bullcrap! Are we really supposed to use *this* for anything?!"

Shoto Todoroki: "I know you're sad about Midoriya's death, but you have to calm down."

Katsuki Bakugo: "Don't be an idiot! I'm not sad over Deku dying! I'm mad that I have to waste my time with this crap! And the bastard who killed him will pay for wasting our time!"

Claire Nunez: "Uh. . . right."

Rias Gremory: "I think the best coarse of a tion would be to-"

Lila Rossi: "Investigate everywhere we can! Leave no stone unturned! We will find out who killed poor Izuku and make them pay!"

Rias Gremory: ". . ."

Issei Hyodo: "That's our leader! Let's get this done, team!"

Rias Gremory: "You too, Issei?!"

Issei Hyodo: "What? She's the leader, isn't she? Of course, you'll always be *my* leader, Rias. But for now. . . we have to fight back."

Shinobu Kocho: "I think the best thing we can do is to form an autopsy on the body. Just to see what really happened here. I can do that, if you all wish."

Lila Rossi: "Perfect. I was *just* gonna suggest that."

Douxie: "Were you, though?"

Shoto Todoroki: "We should probably have someone also look after the crime scene while Ms. Kocho is performing the autopsy. That way, just in case she's the culprit, she can't mess with the evidence that may be here."

Lila Rossi: 'Taking the words right out of my mouth! Katsuki, you can guard the crime scene."

Katsuki Bakugo: "What? Why me?!"

Shoto Todoroki: "I'll also stay behind. Just in case Ms. Kocho is too focused and doesn't catch Bakugo messing with evidence."

Katsuki Bakugo: "What the hell?! You think I'm the killer! Like hell that's true!"

Rias Gremory: "It's for safety precautions. It's important to be safe, rather than sorry."

Loona: "Well, I bet no one can be more sorry than broccoli boy here."

Douxie: "Sounds good to me. As for me, I'll. . . investigate elsewhere."

Katsuki Bakugo: "Hold it right there, pretty boy! Where the hell do you think you're going?!"

Douxie: "I have something else to look at for now. I think something might've happened. But I need to know for sure."

With that said, Douxie left the infirmary.

Rouge: "What's his deal?"

Claire Nunez: "Let's. . . not worry about it. For now, let's focus out investigation in here. That's where the body is, after all."

Lila Rossi: "Yeah, so let's get to it! Begin investigating!"

With that, everyone left the infirmary, aside from the crime scene watchers and Shinobu.

Claire Nunez: "Jim. . . come over here for a sec."

Jim nodded a she went with Claire to a corner.

Claire Nunez: "You think Douxie is looking back at our trap from last night?"

Jim Lake Jr: "That's smart. Considering that the cause of death was blood loss due to a bullet wound. Do you think. . ."

Claire Nunez: "There's no way that bullet wound killed him over night. We patched him up! Otherwise, that would mean-"

Katsuki Bakugo: "What are you morons talking about over there?! The body is over here!"

Jim Lake Jr: "Right. . . we'll just have to catch up to Douxie later."

Claire Nunez: "Yeah. . ."

With that, Jim and Claire turned their attention back to the crime scene to investigate.

Claire Nunez: "Man. . . I feel bad for Izuku. He had a whole life of heroism ahead of him."

Katsuki Bakugo: "Tch. . . don't rub it in."

Jim Lake Jr: "So, Izuku was killed in here, huh? And by a bullet wound too."

Shoto Todoroki: "The E-File says that the time of death is unknown. I wonder why that is."

Katsuki Bakugo: "This is obviously an act of sabotage by the bear! Why don't we just kill him already?!"

Shoto Todoroki: "Bakugo. . . I'd love to see you try."

Shinobu Kocho: "Do you mind keeping it down over there? I'm trying to focus on the autopsy here."

Shoto Todoroki: "Sorry, Ms. Kocho."

Claire Nunez: "Where do we even start in here? There's only so much that we look for in this case."

Jim Lake Jr: "Well, it's the first one. It can't be *that* difficult, can it?"

Claire Nunez: "I guess not."

With that, the two of them began to investigate the area to find any evidence. First things first, they went to check up on Izuku's body.

When they went to check the body, it was the most grim sight they have ever seen. Izuku's eyes were closed and  blood was soaking through his uniform through a wound on his chest. And his arm where he was shot before was still patched up, so at least the cause of death wasn't that.

Jim Lake Jr: "Anything to report, Shinobu?"

Shinobu Kocho: "Well, it's just as the E-File said. He was shot in the chest, suffering from a punctured lung and died to blood loss. It appears he also has a bullet wound in his arm. But it appears that was cleaned up."

Claire Nunez: "Yeah. . . I don't know if that's related to this case or not."

Shinobu Kocho: "Well, there'd be no need to wrap up this wound of the intent was to kill him."

Jim Lake Jr: "Actually, that was from-"

Shinobu Kocho: "But it seems to be an old wound, anyway. The bullet wound in his chest, however. . . it's still fresh."

Jim Lake Jr: "Huh? Still a fresh wound?"

Claire Nunez: "That must mean he died rather recently, huh?"

Shinobu Kocho: "Anyway, I've done all I can do for now. It's nothing we don't know, but I had to confirm it just in case that demon of a bear was lying or keeping things hidden."

Jim Lake Jr: "Thanks for you work, Shinobu."

*BULLET WOUNDS HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE TRUTH BULLETS*

Claire Nunez: "Hey, Jim! Look what I just found."

Jim Lake Jr: "Huh?"

Jim looked over to where Claire was looking as she was crouched and reaching under Izuku's bed.

Claire then pulled her hand out from under the bed and in her hand was a gun.

Jim Lake Jr: "Woah, that's a gun!"

Shoto Todoroki: "Careful with that, Ms. Nunez. We don't want another casualty on our hands."

Claire Nunez: "Yeah, I know. I'll be careful."

Jim Lake Jr: "Is it. . . loaded?"

Claire Nunez: "It doesn't appear to be."

Jim Lake Jr: "Then this is it. This *has* to be the gun that was used in the murder."

Claire Nunez: "But there's something else about this gun too. Look at this."

Jim Lake Jr: "Oh. . . there's a string wrapped around the trigger. But it looks like it was cut on the end."

*GUN IN INFIRMARY HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE TRUTH BULLETS*

Jim Lake Jr: "Hmm. . . this is weird, isn't it?"

Claire Nunez: "Maybe we should go and meet up with Douxie now?"

Jim Lake Jr: "Yeah, I don't see anything that could be more here."

But right as Jim and Claire were about to leave, they stopped when they saw someone next to the infirmary door.

Kanao Tsuyuri: ". . ."

Jim Lake Jr: "Kanao?"

Kanao Tsuyuri: ". . ."

Claire Nunez: "What's that you've got in your hand?"

Kanao Tsuyuri: ". . ."

Jim Lake Jr: "Uh. . . not much of a talker, are you?"

Shinobu Kocho: "Did you find something, Kanao?"

Kanao held out her hand to show Shinobu what she had found. It was a small round object that definitely didn't belong.

Shinobu Kocho: "Oh. . . it's a smoke bomb."

Jim Lake Jr: "A smoke bomb?"

Claire Nunez: "Huh, that's odd. What's that doing here?"

Jim Lake Jr: 'Actually, now that I think about it. . . there was a strange green smoke with an odor when we opened the door to check up on Izuku. And that's when we found his body.'

*SMOKE BOMB HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE TRUTH BULLETS*

Shinobu Kocho: "An amazing find, Kanao. You're doing great."

Kanao Tsuyuri: ". . ."

Jim Lake Jr: 'Is it really much of an accomplishment finding evidence in a murder case? She doesn't really look proud of her find. Then again, it's kind of hard to read her.'

Claire Nunez: "That's about everything in here, I think. Shall we go meet up with Douxie?"

Jim Lake Jr: "Right. Let's get going then."

With that, Jim and Claire left the infirmary and went to meet up with Douxie. And they had a feeling they knew where he was.
