No Way...It's You?(Trial Five: Part Two)

They all turned to Wyatt.

Wyatt looked at the six people with a grim face, looking around. "Griffin, that's wrong, and you know it."

Griffin narrowed his eyes. "How?"

"You can put two and two together, can't you? I'm sure your brain is big enough."

Griffin blanched at the reference.

"And I'm guessing that brain of yours was big enough to put two and two together and find out that everything was done by one person?"

"How did you know that everything was done by one person, Griffin?" Wyatt asked.

Griffin crossed his arms. "Are you stupid too, Wyatt? It's not that hard. Think about it. The sequence of events that have been happening...it's obvious that they covered up the murder before it was even committed!"

Chase nodded slightly. "Actually...I knew that too."

Star glared at them. "Why didn't you say anything?"

Chase shrugged with Griffin. "I thought I was wrong. But as soon as Griffin mentioned it, I thought...maybe I was right."

Harmony frowned slightly. "There's only three suspects to this murder. We already know them."

Wyatt nodded. "And one of them just strengthened our beliefs."

Griffin blinked. "Who?"

Star nodded. "Anyone who had left the fifth floor is a suspect, meaning Thane, Chase, and you, Griffin. However..." she turned to Chase. "You're the most suspicious!"

Chase took a nervous step back. "I...I..."

Wyatt lowered his head slightly. "Think about it, Chase. Everything you've said and done until now. It's all suspicious. You're on the shorter side, but that drawing on the wall is shorter than you are! You could've bent down."

Chase shook his head, eyes wide. "No! I'm innocent...I...SOMEONE'S FRAMING ME!" He shouted.

Star sighed. "No person who isn't a professional liar would be able to pull off such a clean lie," she scoffed.

Chase gripped his stand tightly, looking faint. "I don't want to die," he whispered. "I don't want you guys to die either. Please! Listen to me! I didn't...I mean, do I look like the type of person who would kill someone I've known for a long time?"

"Y...you did help Isabell murder Cody..." Harmony said quietly.

"I WAS TRICKED INTO HELPING HER!" Chase screamed. "I WOULDN'T KILL ANYONE! IF I WANTED TO, I WOULD'VE ATTACKED CASSIE FROM THE VERY BEGINNING!"

"W...what?" Cassie asked, shocked.

Chase slapped a hand over his mouth. "Shit...I-I didn't mean to say that..."

Star closed her eyes. "There's even more proof now."

Wyatt clenched his jaw. "Just stop fighting, Chase. Please. You keep making yourself more and more guilty."

Chase shook his head, glaring at all of them. "No! I won't stop fighting! Wanna know why? BECAUSE IF YOU VOTE FOR ME WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE EXCEPT FOR THE BASTARD WHO'S MAKING US RUN IN CIRCLES LIKE THIS!"

Dagger sighed. "Oh? He's breaking already! Maybe you should vote. After all, everyone else who's been convicted reacted the same way! He's a little...more than suspicious, isn't he?"

Chase turned to Dagger, a snarl on his face. "STOP MAKING THEM THINK IT'S ME! IT'S NOT, AND YOU KNOW IT!"

Dagger laughed in amusement. "Well, everyone? What do you think? He seems a little more than suspicious. I mean, he was there for the chalk, AlterAssassin's death, and the clues fit him perfectly. The crystal ball replacement? His alibi for where he was during Sophie's murder and how Thane got beat?"

Star growled. "You're not part of this, Dagger. However..." she trailed off. "Thanks for the info."

Griffin nodded. "Let's convict him! He's so suspicious, it's not even funny!"

Harmony gulped. "Yeah...let's start from the very beginning."

Star closed her eyes.

"We were learning about each other earlier, just as a chance to hope no one would kill each other. Griffin was not present, but our strategy didn't work. Even if it did, they couldn't stop it. They took the poison from the lab, maybe they knew about all the floors. They poisoned Sophie from the very beginning, but she didn't know anything. She couldn't feel it until the very end. The poison killed her instantly. The culprit knew when she'd die, because they were confident that their skill and item would help.

"When the time for Sophie's death came, they took action. We never noticed AlterAssassin's disappearance when we were starving. Dagger must've taken him while we were stalling, and snuck to the fifth floor without us noticing. At dawn, they attacked him, and destroyed him. On the same floor, they must've staged up the threat to lure us away and keep us distracted.

"During the time we were busy keeping her in check, they had to have manipulated Thane. Maybe they used a poison for it. After all, they had been to the science room already. Since Thane is the Ultimate Voodoo Magician, it was a perfect stage setup to raise suspicions on him. Thane, being manipulated, had walked to Sophie's dead body. He unconciously took out the knife, slashing her body. That would explain the cuts after her death, and the blood on his body. The Despair Disease would raise further suspicion.

"The culprit then took the spare time to hide any specific evidence. It was obvious that they did it quickly, entering the only room they could enter, which was their own. They finally ran back to Sophie's room, discovering the body and acting innocent.

"...and that culprit...is you, Chase!"

Chase looked away. "I...I didn't. I swear. I never did this. I couldn't! I'm just a petty prophet! HOW WOULD A PROPHET DO SUCH A THING? If I'd kill anything, I'd rely on my crystal ball, I'd predict where they'd go and then just stab them or something!"

Dagger laughed, smirking. "That's just too bad, dear Chase. Anyway, where'd you get the poison? You sly fox! Stop defending yourself. Let's vote! You have all chosen Chase, the Ultimate Prophet, as the murderer of Sophie Richardson! Please vote for the levers in front of you!"

Chase looked feral as his eyes darted around. "Wyatt! Help, please!"

Everyone shook their heads as they put their hand on the lever, drowning out the sounds of Chase's pleads.
