Just Dance Away to Your Music...

This chapter is based off of fangirler816's one shot she did, which was way too cute for me to not add. If you haven't followed her, please do!

So. Just a warning. It's not mine. All I did was edit it to make it longer and other stuff.

Good?

Good.

On with the story.

Wyatt woke up the next morning covered in sweat. He looked around his room, making sure there wasn't a screaming, dying man speared to his death.

Thankfully, it was empty.

He sighed in relief, kicking the blanket off before sitting up. He rubbed his head, standing up.

Wyatt checked the clock mounted on the wall. 7:08. Wyatt let out a groan, changing into a new pair of jeans and a t-shirt. He stumbled into the hallway, opening the door to the dining room.

Harmony and Star were sitting next to each other, talking quietly.

Wyatt swallowed nervously before faking a smile. "Hey, guys! What's up!? Oh, yeah, I'm starving! What's for breakfast?" Wyatt exclaimed loudly, walking in and interrupting them.

Star glowered at him slightly as Harmony tried to regain her composure.

Wyatt grinned cheekily, walking into the kitchen.

When he came back with platters of different breakfast foods, everyone had woken up. They were all sitting at the table, talking.

"Wyatt. There you are," Chase said. "We thought you were planning murder or something."

Wyatt forced out a laugh, setting the plates down. "Who, me?"

Chase shrugged as he picked up a piece of bacon with his bare hands. "You never know."

Cassie wrinkled her nose in disgust at Chase's action. "Did you wash your hands?"

Chase grinned as he bit into the bacon. "Nope. Haven't washed them in a week."

Cassie groaned, pushing the plate of bacon to him. "Take it all."

The group laughed, avoiding the bacon as they all dug in.

Wyatt bit into his donut when he felt someone's cold breath on his ear. He shivered. "Damn you, Dagger."

Dagger chuckled as he ripped a piece of the donut off, eating it. "You're looking sexy today, Clark. What makeup did you put on? A scowl?"

Wyatt rolled his eyes. "My mother told me everyone had a beautiful side. Obviously, she's wrong."

Dagger smirked as he jumped on the table. "Alright! So you solved the most confusing, mind-screwing murder yet. For that, you get to explore the last floor!"

Star tilted her head. "You make it seem special."

Dagger grinned. "It's one giant room. But it's my personal favorite. One other thing. You can't go in there from 5:00 to 7:00 at night."

Wyatt frowned. "Why?"

Dagger flustered. "Because... you just can't!"

Cassie smirked faintly. "Aww. We're flustering a Belmont? How unusual."

Dagger growled. "Sh-shut up."

Thane laughed quietly with Harmony.

Dagger glowered at them. "I'll kill you if you do."

Their laughter stopped.

Star sighed, setting her fork down. "Let's go."

Wyatt and the rest of them nodded, standing up as they walked out of the dining room.

They walked down the hall, going up the stairs slowly. The silence of the large manse made the place eerie.

Wyatt suddenly felt a hot feeling on his neck, like someone was staring at them. He slapped a hand against the burning feeling on his neck, spinning around.

No one was there.

Chase raised an eyebrow. "Wyatt? What's wrong?"

Wyatt blinked, shrugging. "I-it's nothing. I think I'm starting to hallucinate."

Cassie frowned, cupping his face in her hands. "That's not good."

Wyatt blushed and looked down in embarrassment, heart fluttering slightly.

Star shook her head. "Let's just hurry. We can check Wyatt later."

Wyatt and the rest of them nodded, running up the stairs two at a time.

They came upon a pair of large, oak doors. There was a design of a couple dancing happily into the strong wood of the doors.

Harmony tilted her head curiously as she opened the doors. They gasped.

Lights were mounted into the wall, revealing a circular dance floor. Off to the corner, there was a ten foot, white grand piano. White roses decorated the dance floor.

The best part was when they looked up.

Never mind the machine guns mounted around the ceiling.

Wyatt gasped at the open sky above them. There was no ceiling, revealing a clear, blue sky.

"It's beautiful..." Thane murmured.

They nodded in agreement.

Star smiled slightly as she came to the piano. "I miss the piano at home."

Harmony tore her gaze from the sky and smiled. "I'm sure you're really good, Star! You should play for us!"

Star blushed and looked down.

Wyatt grinned. "You should!"

Thane nodded in agreement.

Star smiled shyly and sat down, putting her hands on the keys. She began to play, her eyes closed, fingers gliding over the keys.

When she finished, they clapped.

Thane grinned. "Waltz in B Minor by Chopin, right?"

She blinked. "You're right. Do you play?"

Thane shook his head. "I played it on the violin."

Wyatt looked around in awe. "This is the most beautiful floor."

A chuckle was heard. "You haven't even seen outside."

They turned to Dagger, who was leaning against the piano. He pointed to a door in the back. "You guys were so caught up on drab sky you didn't notice that there's an outside. Don't try to jump off the balconies. I'll catch you again and, believe me, there will be hell." He walked over and pushed the door open, walking outside.

Wyatt glanced at the group, shrugging as he followed.

Outside was a garden, with different plants and flowers. The sweet smell of them lingered in the air.

Wyatt's eyes slowly traveled up to the main attraction.

In the middle of the spacious garden, there was a cherry tree. It was in blooming, delicate pink petals falling in the faint wind.

Chase whistled. "Holy hell, I thought the cherry tree cliché only happened in anime."

Dagger smiled as he sat on a branch. "You might not think of me as a peaceful guy. But this is my favorite part of the manse, besides breaking thousand dollar plates and buying new ones." His eye flickered to silver for a split second. He sighed and stretched happily, a pocket watch falling out of his pocket. It hit the ground with a faint thud, next to Wyatt's shoe.

Wyatt glanced at it before picking it up, slipping the watch in his pocket.
Dagger glanced up as he jumped off the tree, landing on his feet. "Well, other than the gardens and my ballroom, there's nothing else on this floor to see."

Chase blinked as he pointed to an obvious door they hadn't entered. "But what about—"

"No."

"We haven't—"

"No."

"Will you marry—"

"No."

"How about not letting us go?"

"Yes."

Chase cursed. "This guy's good."

Star glanced around. "Well, other than that door, there's nothing interesting. Let's go back down and stall around."

Cassie nodded. "I agree." She began to walk down the stairs. "We should check out the factory more."

They nodded as they went down the stairs.

Wyatt stayed back.

Harmony frowned as she looked back. "Wyatt? Are you OK? You seem a bit distant."

Wyatt nodded. "I want to check out this floor more. See if I can uncover secrets."

Harmony nodded as she disappeared down the stairs.

Wyatt pulled out the pocket watch, setting it against the piano stand as he sat on the bench, examining it. There was a single name engraved on it.

Walker.

Wyatt tilted his head. "Must be Dagger's girlfriend's."

He opened the watch, eyes widening in surprise.

The hands of the watch weren't moving, yet there was a distinct audible ticking of the watch.

No way?

Is time not moving in the manse?

Then how are the flower petals falling?

He blinked, shaking his head. No, the watch is broken. Definitely.

Wyatt continued studying the watch until he heard a faint voice from somewhere.

"Go explore the secret door..."

Wyatt stood up, looking around frantically. "Wh-who's there!?"

"Go explore the forbidden door... explore... explore... explore..."

Wyatt left the pocket watch, running out of the room. He held his head.

The voice laughed like a child. "London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down, London Bridge is falling down, my fair Dagger..."

Wyatt shook his head as he gritted his teeth together, running into the factory. He stumbled, crashing into the metal.

As he looked up wearily to the panicked group calling his name above him, he closed his eyes, blacking out.

*****

Wyatt shot up, rubbing his head. "Ow..."

Chase sat next to him. "Oh, you're OK. You looked so pale when you ran in like a madman."

Wyatt nodded. "I just... started hearing this voice. It was weird, telling me to explore the door Dagger didn't let us go into."

Chase smirked. "That, my friend, is called a conscience. More specifically, the conscience of a healthy teenage boy."

He laughed faintly. "What time is it?"

"Five thirty."

Wyatt nodded. "Dinner time."

Chase grinned. "Oh, you're sane enough to know when dinner is. You'll be fine."

Wyatt rolled his eyes as he got up, walking to the dining room.

Cassie waved as he came in. "Hey! You're OK!"

Wyatt grinned as he sat down. "Better than ever." He picked up his knife and fork, cutting into the steak.

They talked as they ate, laughing at each other.

Wyatt grinned, his smile fading suddenly as he heard a faint sound.

A chord.

The piano?

Someone's on the piano?

Wyatt turned his head. "Guys, listen."

They went silent, eyes widening at the piano music.

Harmony shot up. "It might be someone else in this game!"

Star nodded as she began running out of the room and up the stairs. "Let's check it out!"

The group tripped over each other running up, approaching the ballroom quickly.

The piano music could be heard more clearly as they came closer, each note fitting like a puzzle.

Cassie opened the door quietly, peeking in. Her eyes widened. "Look," she whispered.

Wyatt and the others gathered around the door, gasping at the sight.

The piano was playing by itself, no one at the bench or even near it.

Their gaze fell on the main attraction.

There was a couple dancing in the middle of the room.

Cherry tree petals were falling around them, and the night sky was twinkling with stars.

One looked familiar.

His black hair bounced slightly as he spun to the music with the girl, her brown hair flying out from behind her.

The girl smiled shyly at him, resting her head on his chest. She was up to his shoulder in height, her forest-green dress emphasizing the green in her eyes.

The tails of his tuxedo flew out behind him slightly as he spun in a circle with the girl.

Holy hell.

He's smiling.

Dagger, the cold, ruthless tycoon and part-time host for a murder party was grinning happily like a normal teenage boy.

His eyes were both a soft, metallic silver as he kissed her forehead gently.

Wyatt rubbed his eyes.

His eyes.

They're...silver?

The girl blushed and smiled shyly up at him, her cheeks painted with a faint pink color.

Dagger held her gaze as they wordlessly moved across the dance floor.

The music began to slow down to the point where the melody was dwindling down to a few small notes at a time.

Signaling that the song was almost over, their dance finished.

Good things never last long.

Dagger pulled the girl closer as he leaned in, closing his eyes. The girl did the same, wrapping her arms around his neck.

Their lips met halfway in a passionate kiss.

The group looked at each other in shock.

"D...Dagger?" Wyatt blurted out in disbelief.

The chords crashed together in a jumbled, chaotic mess of noise as Dagger and the girl looked over. The girl's green eyes widened as she saw them.

Dagger's silver eye flickered back to the normal blood red color. He pulled the girl closer to him, his eyes narrowing.

"How long have you been standing there, gawking like stupid little kids?" he hissed. "FOR FUCK'S SAKE, THIS ISN'T A GODDAMN MOVIE!"

Wyatt took a step back, meeting the girl's shocked gaze before she ran out to the garden, leaving a trail through the rose petals behind her.

Dagger growled. "Answer me. How long were you standing there and watching us!?"

"A...a few minutes..." Cassie stuttered out.

Dagger scowled as he let out a yell in rage, slamming a hand down on the piano keys. "I can't have any time to myself!?" he spat before leaving through the same way the girl had gone.

Only to leave the group with more questions lingering in their minds as they silently walked back to the dining room.
