How Much More Is There...?(The Sixth Murder)
Wyatt sat up abruptly when he heard the gunshot. He tossed the gun he had onto the desk, stumbling out of bed and throwing the door open.
Crashing into Cassie.
She fell back with a yelp.
Wyatt's eyes widened as he helped her up. "Sorry!"
Cassie shook her head, rubbing her forehead. "Never mind that. You heard the gunshot too, right?"
"Yeah. Let's hurry!"
They ran up the stairs before hearing a scream from the ballroom. Both sped up, skipping the stairs three at a time before they slammed the door to the ballroom open.
Wyatt's eyes widened.
Harmony was standing in shock, tears falling down her face as she stared at the body.
It was sitting limply at the piano bench, body slumped and head resting against the piano. The white piano was stained pink, blood dripping off the keys and onto the floor.
The roses had been arranged from outside of the Ballroom to the piano in a neat trail. They used to be white.
Now, they were pink.
Harmony screamed again before running out of the room.
Wyatt shook his head as he approached the body slowly. The hair was cut short and messily. Hands were folded in its lap.
He cautiously turned the corpse over slowly to see the face before letting out a cry in shock.
Through the blood seeping out of a bullet hole in her head and a slit in her throat, Wyatt looked into her lifeless blue eyes, which were open blankly.
The one person they needed to live through the trials was dead.
Star, the Ultimate Detective, was gone.
