Alternate Ending?

The "bad end" to Dangan Ronpa: Dead by Dawn.

Erik gives the conviction instead of Wyatt to Dagger. Right after Dagger's convicted, he is given an actual execution.
What happened next was to remain a secret...

The room was quiet as everyone stared at the bloody pile of metal on the ground. The small scrap of a red tie floated to the ground.

There was a faint chuckle from behind the four remaining guests.

They all turned around in shock to look at the guest laughing insanely.

Erik smirked faintly. "Got! Him! Finally!"

Wyatt's eyes widened. "What?"

"Ha. Haha. Hehe. HA. HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Erik gripped his hair as he let loose an insane round of laughter.

He grinned madly as he looked up into the shocked faces of the remaining four. "What? Shocked that I'd plan all of this?"

Chase stumbled back in shock. "O-one of the guests was the mastermind?"

He laughed loudly. "Of course! Why not! Biggest plot twist of all time!"

Erik smirked faintly as the execution room came to life, the remaining chains on the walls from Dagger's execution wrapping around all four of the guest's arms and legs, trapping them.

Cassie let out a choked scream.

The smallest guest rolled his eyes. "Oh, please. No one can hear you." He walked to the table, picking up a pile of bullets as he slipped it into a gun.

Wyatt let out a shiver as his eyes widened at the sight of Erik walking up to him and pressing the barrel to Thane's forehead.

"Tell me what happened, Wyatt. Tell me who the mastermind is. Say it! Say the name of the boy in front of you!" He grinned, revealing unusually sharp canine teeth.

Wyatt's breathing hitched. "D-don't..."

Erik looked at Thane before pulling the trigger.

Down Thane went. He let out a choked scream, blood trailing down from the bullet wound in his forehead before falling limp.

"Say the name of the murderer in front of you."

Wyatt let out a scream as tears streamed down his eyes. "STOP IT! You're my friend! DON'T K-KILL THEM!"

Erik raised an eyebrow as he put the gun away and took out a knife. "No, my name is not Stopityouremyfrienddontkillthem."

Cassie let out a small whimper as Erik dug the point under her throat.

The boy glanced back at Wyatt, one of his eyes bright pink. "Say the culprit's name."

Wyatt struggled, letting out wail. "STOP!"

Erik sighed as he drove the blade into Cassie's neck.

Blood trickled out from her mouth as she coughed. Pink stained the front of her shirt and pooled to the floor. Her eyes almost slid closed before she fell limp, head hanging to the side.

Chase shook slightly with tears. "O-oi...Wyatt. P-please. You're the Hope, r-right?" He let out small sob. "Don't let him kill me..."

Wyatt shook his head. "P-please stop," he pleaded to Erik.

Erik walked to the control panel as a large hammer appeared over Chase's head. "Hurry, hurry! Say the name of the mastermind!"

Wyatt let out an agonizing scream. "DON'T KILL CHASE!"

Chase looked up at the hammer, tears trailing down his face as he closed his eyes tightly.

Erik let go of the hammer, the large object falling.

Wyatt opened his mouth, no sound coming out.

"I'm so sorry."

The Ultimate Prophet disappeared under the hammer, blood appearing from under the hammer and staining Wyatt's cheek with pink.

Wyatt's eyes were wide as his gaze quickly moved back to the small mastermind.

Erik smirked as he walked to the middle of the execution room, where a bloody, crushed deck of cards lay inside what used to be Dagger's jacket.

Erik took them out carefully, licking the blood off before spitting it out.

He stood back a few feet from Wyatt, aiming the cards at Wyatt. "Come on now, Hope."

Wyatt's eyes widened.

Erik giggled. "Say the name! You saw it in front of your eyes! You know the murderer!"

Wyatt opened his mouth to say the name.

A bloody chain wrapped around his neck, cutting off his voice.

He tried to scream, legs kicking as much as they could.

Erik grinned as the chain tightened, cutting off his air. Wyatt felt the blood pressure increase.

"I'll give you five more seconds to try and answer."

Wyatt raised his hands, getting stopped by the chains.

"Five!"

Tears and blood rolled down his cheeks as he tried to answer.

"Four!"

"Three!"

Wyatt felt the chain loosen as he gasped for air, letting out a loud, shrieking sob.

"Two!"

"ER-"

Wyatt saw the card a moment too late as it spun into a knife, sinking into his heart.

He let out a choked cry, tears and blood splattering onto the ground.

Erik walked up, holding the gun to his forehead. Both eyes were bright pink, reminiscent of the despair that stained the manse.

Wyatt felt his eyes slip and death creep up to him from behind. He let out one last pleading scream before the final gunshot silenced him.

"One."

And with that, Erik Killman left, closing the curtains to the game and walking away from the dead thing called hope.
