My! Oc!#2!(⚠️bloood, death, slight gore⚠️)

Triggers: Blood, mentions of death, slight gore

Name: Marcello Insigne
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight flirty boy
Talent: Interior Designer
Ethnicity: Italian

Weight: around 119 lbs, mostly because he gives most of his food to his sisters and also because he can't gain weight for the life of him.
Height: around 5'10, give or take.
Face: Light brown skin with shaggy dark brown hair. His eyes are brown, and he has a single red earring in his right ear.
Clothes: A white dress shirt with the first two buttons unbuttoned, an extremely pale brown suit with a dark brown outline, and his pants match the outline of his suit. He also has brown leather shoes and a matching briefcase that contains his laptop, client list, and planner, though once he finds his dorm he leaves it there.
Special Features: Dimples!!! He'd honestly die of embarrassment if anyone pointed them out but he's got the most adorable dimples when he smiles!

First Impression: Very playful and fun to be around, although his attitude makes the protagonist (Mithra) believe that he is naive or possibly stupid. He is neither.
Personality: Although Marcello is a huge flirt, he rarely feels actual attraction to them. He puts on a playful, carefree exterior because it's his way of getting through life. He knows that his smile is the reason why he's in such high demand, and he owns it. Marcello is the kind of guy who flirts with anyone and will definitely sweep some lucky girl off her feet. However, when he genuinely cares for someone, he's prone to literally tripping over his own feet. The poor girl will literally be showered with affection from him, but he'll make sure to back off if she tells him to stop or that she's not interested. Depending on how close you are to him, Marcello will let himself be more and more vulnerable around you. His dormmates, Lynn Cheshire and Abasi Hasan, are his best friends and are the closest people to him. Marcello is extremely family orientated and loves the idea of having a huge family to call his own. He'd never consider pursuing that dream, however, if his significant other was against it. And the approval of his girlfriend's family is an absolute must with him. He also has a huge heart and will absolutely let his friends/significant other cry into his shoulder.

Likes: His parents, his mom was there for him when his family was homeless, starving, and cold, his dad overcame a bad habit and got them out of poverty, and his stepmom fostered his love for interior design. His siblings all hold a special place in his heart and he loves playing with Kaila and Rosa. He also likes people who can keep up with his energy, like Adelaide, Abasi, and Lynn.
Dislikes: People who expect him to be happy all the time because he's human after all. He also hates people who joke about homelessness, poverty, or hardship. He thinks it's insensitive to those who lived through it. He also cannot stand gore, and will feel nauseous at the sight of blood. If, however, someone close to him was harmed, he'd swallow those feelings and do whatever necessary to protect that person.
Fears: Snakes. It's a mystery to all as to how he became friends with the ultimate snake charmer.

Social Skills: Social butterfly! He has no problem with interacting with strangers!
Romance: He'll die before he admits it but he has a huge crush on Adelaide Turner, the ultimate Sea Artist. If he sees that she's upset, he'll drop whatever he's doing and comfort her however he can.
Friends: Abasi Hasan, the Ultimate Snake Charmer, and Lynn Cheshire, the Ultimate Makeup Artist. The three of them are the divas of the game, but if they find out they hurt someone's feelings all three of them will do whatever it takes (within reason, of course) to gain that person's forgiveness. They're also notorious for flirting with just about anyone, the only exception being people who've told them not to flirt.
Coping Style: When Marcello loses a friend or someone he cares deeply about, it can be hard for the other characters to watch him for days afterwards, as he'll apparently forget that the person is dead and talk to them like they're still there. This'll go on until he comes to terms with the loss, usually 4-7 days. He'd never admit it, but even after he's come to terms with someone's death he'll often wake up in the middle of the night with a tear-stained pillow.

Family: Mom, dad, three little sisters, Maya, Kaila, and Rosa, one little brother, Mario, and a stepmom (Mario, Maya, mom, and dad are deceased).
Past: Marcello was born under a bridge. His parents were Italian immigrants that moved to the United States when their relatives threatened to kill them. Unfortunately his father was a frivolous spender and his mother couldn't hold a job long enough to earn enough money to pay off their debts, so Marcello grew up homeless. When his sister, Rosa, was born, he was five years old and he was seven when Kaila came into the picture. At this time, his father had managed to save up enough money from different odd jobs that he was able to buy an old building-coincidentally, it had been built on the land where H. H. Holmes's murder castle had once stood. The family moved into the building and made it into a family-run bed and breakfast. It was Marcello who made the designs for the lobby, breakfast nook, guest rooms, etc. and because of those designs the family bed and breakfast soon became a popular spot for people to stay. His father was a flirty fellow and Marcello would always remember quiet evenings when all their customers were asleep. His father would put on some soft jazz and dance with his mom, always making her blush in the process. He thought that they would always be happy, but when he was 12, shortly after the twins Maya and Mario were born, his mom was diagnosed with cancer. The cancer was aggressive and left her weak and bedridden, and she quietly died on New Year's Day. The twins, who had been premature and sickly, despite being the only kids to be born at a hospital, soon followed. The entire family was shocked when this happened and they almost became homeless again. This is when Marcello's stepmom came into the picture. She ran an agency that hired interior designers to other people, and when she learned that Marcello had been the designer for the bed and breakfast, she decided to hire him at age 13. She taught him how to be professional and how to interact with customers, and he soon became the most sought-after interior designer in California. Bad luck continued to plague his family, unfortunately, and his father, while out for a stroll one rainy day, was struck and killed by lightning when he was 14. His stepmother took him and his sisters and they moved to Pittsburgh, where her agency was headquartered. At 15, he started using social media to spread his ideas across the globe, and he used his talent to design his sisters' dream bedroom. Even though their big brother, who didn't have a solid education other than a couple of years in public school and a lot of homeschooling lessons had a lot of clients, Kaila and Rosa never thought less loved. He would play dress up with them, he'd let them paint his nails, and he'd tuck them into bed at night. On stormy nights, the two of them would crawl into Marcello's bed. His stepmother, who was never able to have kids of her own, loved the three of them like her own children. She once confronted him about his habit of slipping portions of his food to Rosa and Kaila, and was touched at his response-"I know what it's like to hungry, and I know that you'd never let that happen to us, but I don't want my sisters to go hungry anymore." When he was 17 years old, he was not only popular on social media, he had been accepted to Hope's Peak Academy as the ultimate Interior Designer after his clientele exploded to include Canada, Mexico, and parts of Europe.

Role: Side Character
Fate: Culprit of chapter three (he kills Corbin Travert after he kills Adelaide).
Theme Songs: American Pie by Don McLean  (it describes his backstory), and his overall theme song is Best Day Of My Life by American Authors.
Execution: Marcello finds himself in the lobby of his family's old bed and breakfast. However, it's not the bed and breakfast he knows. It's the lobby of H. H. Holmes's infamous castle, and he can hear his mother screaming for mercy. He runs to the sound of her voice, which leads him to the basement, where Monoclown (the mascot), has already killed his siblings, father, and stepmom. Monoclown sees him and smirks at him. While he watches in horror, his mother gets off the medical table and, all the while eriely smiling at him, she slits her own throat. He throws up after watching her body fall to the floor at his feet and almost falls into his knees. Monoclown asks him if he'd like to stay with his family forever before throwing a flaming log onto his mother's corpse, which lights up in flames. Marcello quickly moves out of the way, but the flames are unrelenting and the door is kept firmly locked. Marcello very nearly dies here, as the heat of the flames and the lack of oxygen make his head spin, but Abasi and Lynn force the door open for him and they get him back to the trial room. Because he's half conscious at this point, they have to carry him to safety but they make it to the trial room without complaining or dropping Marcello. They get burned in the process, however, as the fire in the basement spread to the upper levels after they left the door open. In the trial room, Marcello Insigne, the ultimate Interior Designer, takes one last look at his friends and smiles. His last words before he dies are "I'm coming mother."
