Plans

Toki took a seat, and so did Kazuki and Aimi, though they sat on opposite sides of the room from each other. Satchiko settled back down next to Katashi before speaking.

"S-shouldn't we get Mimoto and T-Takahashi first?" She asked, twirling around a strand of her strawberry blonde hair.

Toki shook her head. "No, I actually prefer them not being here. I don't trust them, especially not Mimoto."

"Why not?" I questioned, tilting my head a bit.

"She feels off to me." The black haired girl replied. "Never mind that though. Let's get back on topic. Should we kill or capture? Killing would be easier to organize, but I see why someone may have a problem with that." She paused for a moment. "But keep in mind, this man was able to kill his own twin sister, who was even on his side."

"S-she wasn't..." Satchiko muttered. "She wasn't... on his side."

"What do ya mean?" Tomi asked, looking a bit confused. "Wasn't she the one controlling the Monokuma in there?"

Satchiko nodded a bit. "Yes, but, n-not willingly. She told me... s-she had been looking for a way to get us out... th-that she was gonna save us all..." She sniffled, her eyes growing watery. "Th-that's why he killed her... he f-found out... I'm just glad h-her back was facing the camera... s-so I couldn't see her face when..." She trailed off, wiping a tear that had unknowingly fallen. Katashi put an arm around her, and she leaned into him.

"Really...? Hm, that seems a little off..." Toki stated thoughtfully. "Zetami only said she was annoying, not that she betrayed him... oh well, poor wording I guess."

"I say we kill him." Katashi said, "He killed more than half our classmates, why should he get to live?"

"I agree." Aimi added, "I never knew him, obviously, but from what I've heard, he's a monster."

"Michio's boring. He never really acknowledged me." Tomi stated with a shrug. "Hmm, kill him, don't kill him, I don't care."

"I don't know either..." Satchiko muttered. "I-I'm upset about what he did... but I don't want anyone to die..."

"Capture." Mai finally spoke, but kept her blank expression. "There was a plan, actually. Willow wrote up a plan before we went to the base... she didn't tell anyone else because it might not've worked with the building he was in, but I think it will... Willow wanted to capture him, and knew how to do it." She looked down at her lap. "I won't help if you're killing him. Willow wouldn't like that."

Aimi let out a small sigh. "Alright, Akiyama. When we get out of here we can look over that plan."

"If Ikeda-chan comes, she should be somewhere she can't hear Michio." Kazuki said. "Or wear earplugs, or something. We wouldn't want something like last... time..." he trailed off, clutching his head.

"Kazuki? Are you alright?" Toki asked, but before he could answer he fell back against the couch, immediately going limp.

I gasped, rushing to get up before Toki put a hand in front of me. "It's alright... he's just remembering something."

I hesitantly sat back down, still keeping an eye on the author. It wasn't long until his brown eyes opened once again, and he sat up. Slowly his face turned red, and he pulled up his hood in attempt to hide it. It was too late, everyone already saw.

"What'd you remember?" Katashi asked, smiling a bit as he noticed the boy blushing as well. "Is it Momo? Did something actually happen between you two?"

Kazuki slowly shook his head.

"Then who?" The pianist questioned, but Kazuki stayed quiet.

Satchiko got up and approached the obviously embarrassed boy, patting him on the head. "It's okay to be gay, Kazuki."

"W-what? Who said anything about g-gay?!" Kazuki exclaimed, somehow blushing more.

Satchiko just smiled a bit. "I don't think anyone else remembered this yet, but the whole class knew. I-I can guess what you remembered."

Katashi's eyes widened a bit. "Wait... did you really...?"

Kazuki let out a small sigh. "Th-that doesn't matter, but... we can't kill him. He wasn't like this before, maybe we can help him..."

"I said they had a thing, didn't I?" Aimi said, leaning back in her seat.

"What exactly happened... with you and Michio?" Katashi asked hesitantly.

Kazuki stayed quiet, biting his lip as he stared at the ground. "That's... um... i-it's not important." He stood up, avoiding looking at anyone. "I think we talked enough for now... our priority should be getting out of here alive."

He walked over to the main hallway, but before leaving, he turned back to look at me. "Ikeda-chan... there's something I want to ask you. Can you come with me?"

I nodded and stood as well, walking over to him and leaving the room together. As soon as we were out of earshot, he leaned in close to whisper to me.

"Chou seems to like you... I think we can all see that. I don't think you're the traitor though, and it's just a coincidence. It wouldn't be so obvious." Kazuki said quietly, then continued. "We can use this, if you're okay with that. Talk to her more, get her to trust you. She might slip up and give out some important information. Would you be able to do that?"

I nodded, and whispered back. "Of course... I'd do anything to help."

Kazuki smiled at me. "Thanks. Good luck."
