It wasn't long before Tomi and I had returned to the base. After getting rid of the Monokumas, the trip back was fairly uneventful. The two of us entered the room I was brought to when I had first come here, and inside Aimi and Kazuki were sitting on the couch, waiting. As soon as Aimi saw us, she stood, walking over and glaring at Tomi.

"Where where you? You took much longer than I expected, what happened?" She demanded.

"Hey, it's not my fault we were being chased." Tomi replied with a shrug. "But we blew 'em up so it's all good."

Aimi's eyes widened. "You caused another explosion? With Ikeda there too? Uyeda, we seriously need to have a talk about this."

Tomi laughed a bit. "Relax, she let me do it! Right, Kira?"

I gave a small nod. "Yeah... I mean, we were at a safe distance...."

Aimi let out a small sigh. "Whatever, as long as you're safe, Ikeda-chan."

"You're so cruel, Aimi! Don't you care about my safety too?" Tomi pouted.

Aimi shook her head. "I don't worry about you because you've never been in a situation you couldn't handle."

Suddenly, the door burst open, and I turned around to see a short boy standing there. His short magenta hair was a mess, but his deep blue eyes were full of joy. He was wearing a short sleeved white button up shirt and grey jeans, and looked well put together despite appearing sleep deprived.

A smile grew on his face as he spoke. "Kazuki-kun, it's Satchiko! She... she's opening up!"

"She is?" Kazuki responded, quickly standing. The other boy walked into the room, closing the door behind him. "What happened?"

"She started crying and she was hugging me..." The magenta haired boy explained. "She's kind of depressed right now, but I was able to have a whole conversation with her! Satchiko told me she wants to help us with our goal, and I think we should let her. She's not ready to see that monster again, but...."

"That's great news! I'm so relieved... for a while I was worried that the damage was permanent." Kazuki replied. He turned back to me with a small smile. "Sorry, you must be so confused."

"Oh, you must be Ikeda-chan." The short boy said to me, and I nodded. "Well, it's nice to meet you! I'm Katashi Oshiro." I shook his hand, offering a small smile.

Aimi cleared her throat. "So, I'm assuming you'll all be leaving soon? You only stayed here to get help for Kobayashi, after all." She said to the two boys.

Kazuki gave a small nod. "Yeah, I guess so. I'll talk it over with the others." He then turned to me. "I guess you can choose who to go with, Ikeda-chan. We'll be tracking down the mastermind of the killing game- I'm assuming Mai told you everything- but if you stay here it'll be a lot safer."

"I wanna come." I quickly said without thinking. "This mastermind caused Akio's and so many others' deaths. I don't want to just do nothing."

"It'll be dangerous." Kazuki pointed out.

I nodded. "I still want to help."

"I wish I could stop you, but..." Aimi trailed off, shaking her head. "Just be careful, okay?"

"Of course." I responded with a smile.

"We should have a meeting with the other survivors." Katashi suggested. "Ikeda-chan can join, since she's coming with us. She should meet everyone anyways."

"Alright." Kazuki replied, "Then let's get ready."
