Kuzumi's Pov

That night I slept with Taka (Not in the sextual way perverts!) and I had a nightmare, something that would scar me for the rest of my life, even the phrase I took from it would stay with me forever.

Nightmare

I found myself in the hallway to the locker room and the mans room was open ajar with light shining through the crack. Curious I open the door and unconditionally say "Mondo? You there?" I spy him over in the corner standing over something.

I walked over and tapped his shoulder "hey" I say, he turns and is covered in blood and an dumbell in hand, I gasped. Behind us was the beaten corpse of Chihiro, blood flowing from the blow from his head, I tried to scream but found no power to do so.

He only frowned "I did it for you..." the words echoed and each echo had more strength to it until I finally woke up screaming?

Taka was beside me, startled by the sudden wake up, and was there to console my greif "w-what's wrong?" I could only mumble "a nightmare....mondo covered in blood...I only did it for you"  he hugged me tight.

"Its fine you can't go on remembering him for the murder, but remember him as he was someone who cared deeply for everyone who he called a friend" I didn't have a respone and only nodded.

My brother ran into the room, half awake and his hair a complete mess "what happend!" The worry on his face was obvious. Taka spoke in my silence "she had a nightmare, judging on what she said it wasn't pleasant" he sighed in relief and walked up to me " Your ok thats all that matters, we both are here for you so don't forget if anything is eating at you, come to either of us" she nods and smiles.

He stood and walked to the door "well im going back to sleep, see you both in the morning" he waved and left us to ourselves.  Taka smiled "he's correct, you can trust us" I nod and we layed down and went back to sleep the last thing I said before falling to sleep was "I trust you both, well be safe" and sleep took me.

-Morning-

I woke with a yawn seeing Taka beside me he was also awake and he leaned in and kissed my forehead "morning" he says, I smile and say "morning, want some breakfast?" He nods but we hear the Monokuma alert

*bing bong bing* Sorry to interrupt *gags* your couple time but breakfast will have to wait ive got something special for all to see in the gym. You all know the drill, come or else yada yada...just get her quick!

I sighed and sat up "lets get going I guess" he followed close by and held my hand, I spied it and smiled.

-Gym-

Once everyone was gathered in the gym Monokuma appears with the same smile that everyone hated and some (including me) would kill. Togami spoke first "what exactly have you concocted this time?" Monokuma laughed "thats the million dollar question or more specifically the ten million dollar one" with that phrase a large stack of dollar bills landed in front, of the podium.

Everyone stared with there mouths open, Hiro whistled at the sight and didn't keep his eyes off. Monokuma laughed "this" he pats the pile "is a solid ten mill dollars, the prize for the one person who survives this killing game" he disappeared leaving us to our thoughts.

Hiro couldn't stop repeating the word money until Toko spoke "let me guess your hurting for cash?" Hiro turned and laughed "no shit! Toko glared at him and they soon got into a heated argument, Ginji spoke "why does Monokuma think we would fall for this kind of thing?" Koyoko spoke next "money is one of the deepest evils, Togami can say that with experience" Togami grumbled and turned from our view.

I saw Hina who seemed out of it so I asked "whats wrong?" She could only shake her head "I don't know if im losing it or what but I thought I saw the ghost of Chihiro last night" this peaked our interests. She takes us to the bath house and points to the locker "I saw him here" my brother opened the locker door and found a laptop.

"Thats Chihiro's laptop!" I said and Koyoko spoke up "he was fixing it up to find a way out of here, didn't anyone notice the layout of this room?" We all looked and Sakura nods "no cameras or security, completely free to do anything" she nods.

Ginji opens the laptop and presses the on button, for a few seconds nothing happened until a green light shined and an image of Chihiro appeared. Hifumi and Hiro jumped back (scooby doo style XD) and screamed "g-ghost!" Togami galered at the two of them "its only a computer image" they calmed down slightly.

The image of Chihiro looked around "master, master where are you?" Ginji takes it and puts it on his lap to type "who are you?" Chihiro smiled and said "im Alter Ego, the AI unit my master made in his image" I couldn't get past how spot on the speech pattern and character style.

He then asked "where is master?" My brother frowned and wrote "he was murdered by Mondo" the AI took time to frown and sob but then smiled "I was prepared for it, he programed me to prepare for it and if I was still around to help everyone else" everyone grew a bit with excitement "we might have found our way out of here" Ginji says with a laugh he quickly knocked on the wooden bench making sure not to jinks the small hope we griped to.

He typed in another sentence "can you find a way out of here?" Alter Ego nods and takes a second to do something,  he looks at us and says "the fire wall on the system is intense! I apologize in advance but it might take time for me to get through" we all kept the possibility of escape as we all left for the night.

-The next morning-

I woke up to find myself alone, Taka nowhere to be seen. I paniced slightly but soon calmed myself and told myself "its fine he's probably in the dining hall" I kept telling myself he was but something didn't feel right about it. I reach the dining hall and can't find him that puts me in full panic mode and I run out of the room twords my brother's room.

Ginji's Pov

There was a knock on my door and I heard "Gin! Open up Please!" It was Kuzumi, I opened the door and found her a nervous wreak, the worry lines in her face showing.

I answer "what is it Zumi" she tugged on my arm and said " I'm worried...Taka's not here. He's not anywhere. And Makoto says he hasn't seen him!!!" Thia made me raise my eyebrow in confusion "that isn't like him have you checked the other floors? Maybe he took the time to look around the library or swim in the pool" she shook her head.

We make our way to the first floor and start with the physics lab, we find Taka on the floor blood coming from his head and Kuzumi crys " SOMEBODY HELP!!" She craddles his head in her arms, tears flowing freely " Taka....No....Not you too. I can't loose you too!!!!" I checked his pulse and found none, I shook my head "im sorry he's gone" she wailed.

Refusing to let him go she crys " H-he can't die...He's Kiyotaka Ishimaru! He's too strong to die! *sobs harder* Why....would anyone do this? He never hurt anyone!!!!" I understood her pain, a deep burning pain of loosing someone you cared about, she lost two people she loved consecutively so that only made matters worse.

I tried to comfort her "im sorry, but be sure I won't let his death go in vain" she only sobbed harder. Soon everyone come to our aid and Togami was the first to talk "Ginji take her away, or at least until she has calmed down" I nod grabbing her and slinging her on my back "No I wont leave him!" I used my calm voice and said "They need to check over the body" she cryed "he was everything to me" I could only reply "I know" (Look at image now)

"It's... Not fair. He's... Innocent. He never hurt anyone..." she crys remembering him "I know he's strict, but...He was still...a caring guy once you got past it..." the I heard a scream, it was Celestia so I took off running twords her scream. Halfway she says feeling the despair " We're...all gonna die...He's...picking us off...one by one...And...Since I'm weak...I'll... Be the next victim..." I set her down and smacked some sense into her "look at me! Were not going to die! I promised to keep you alive and im sure as hell not going to break it now!

She wimpers and we reach the infirmary and found Hifumi dead on the floor, the sight made Kuzumi faint. Makoto who beat us here pointed at the bed "good thing were in the nurses office" he takes her from me and lays down on the bed then gasped "Fukawa! We left her behind!" He ran twords the door "come on Gin" I followed.

We reached the physics lab finding Taka's body missing, then Celestia came in crying " Ginji!!! It's awful! Barbaric even! I saw...Kuzumi. And there was a lot of blood! I think...she's dead!" In that moment the world went in still as I stood still, Makoto was about to sau something when rage took over me "Like hell she is!" I push Celestia to the side and barged down the hall.

I make it to the nurses office and I see what she said, Kuzumi was covered in blood laying where Hifumi once was. Once again the body had dissappeared. Makoto cryed "Kuzumi!" I could only stare until I got myself to walk over and check her. Her breathing was regular almost normal even and I cryed in joy "Ah! She's still alive!" Hina took note of and also was happy of being alive.

I took notice of the large amount of blood, it couldnt be all hers "if this blood isn't all hers then who's is it?" Byakuya laughed " Isn't it obvious? The killer wanted to get rid of Yamada's corpse. Kuzumi must've just been in the wrong place at the wrong time" Hina then spoke "Which means...she couldn't be the killer" I sighed "I guess we can ask her when she wakes"

As if she heard us she said "T..Taka?" Her waking made me smile "No its your brother Gin" she crys and hugs me and I didnt care despite the blood. I brushed her hair and calmed her "Its fine it'll be ok, we'll be ok" she nods and touches the back of her head with a cringe " Oh yeah, now I remember. I was attacked." Togami asked "who?" She shrugs " I...Don't know. I didn't get a good look at their face. But I did see something...Strange." everyone was instantly curious.

"What was strange?" I ask

Kuzumi then says "Promise you won't call me crazy?"

Togami says " If you recall, during Mondo's trial, I said "I make no promises when my life is on the line." That still holds true." The comment made me grumble.

I wouldn't ever call her crazy and then Makoto said "We're your friends you can trust us" she touches her head calmly again " Before I was attacked...I saw...Hifumi. He was...walking down the hallway with something in his hands. It...looked like a hammer. I went to follow him and...Felt a rag over my mouth. After making sure I couldn't scream, the assailant hit me in the back of the head with something. I heard glass breaking, so I'm almost certain...It was a bottle."

I thought about what she said.

Togami said " That's completely absurd! Yamada was dead! Makoto, Celeste, Asahina, you, and your brother saw his corpse!" I looked at him and said "was he really?" Kuzumi says "you believe me?" I nodded and Hina spoke next "Wait...you think...he was faking?" I could nodded "its possible there are extra bags of blood in cold storage" I pointed at the fridge thatkept the bags of blood all of our blood types and many others types we wouldn't even need.

Kuzumi took action and took charge " You're right! But we won't get anywhere at the Class Trial...If we're all searching the same spot. As much as I hate to say it...We need to split up. Into two teams. Team one, Makoto, Sakura, Hina, and Celeste will search the physics lab. Togami and Toko,, search the second floor. Ginji and I will search down here. Maybe there are some clues to what I saw. Alright." She took for a moment Taka's authative tone "split up and report your findings at the Class Trial!"

They all took off to there areas.

Me and Kuzumi looked over the infirmary and she reached into her pocket and found a rag " The rag I was talking about. The killer must've put it in my pocket! Let's see what else is here." She checked the trash can and pulled out a bloodied glasses cleaning rag with a cartoon character it " This proves you were right, Gin. Hifumi used the blood bags to fake his death and used this cloth to wipe the blood off after everyone left and before I woke but why?" I couldnt answer her.

She walked to the doorway " And after I woke, I tried to follow Hifumi." She stood and pointed down " This is as far as I got before I was attacked.I tried to scream, but was muffled by this rag. And...Hang on...This looks familiar! I saw the same rag...After we left the physics lab. It was on the floor of the Game Room. Where Celeste claims she was attacked. But isn't it strange...That when we found Hifumi...She looked no worse for wear?"

I nodded "Meaning she had something to do with the murder despite what she claims"

Ginji- Meaning she might have something to do with the murder despite what she said she nods and clenches her fist " Exactly. And if I find out...That she had ANYTHING to do with what happened to Taka...Monokuma won't need an execution. I'll kill her with my bare HANDS!!!!".

I held her and said "calm down" she lowers her hands to her sides and started crying " I'm sorry...It's just...Again...I lost someone I loved AGAIN...And...I couldn't do anything...to stop it." She sobs harder " First Mondo...And now Taka...Why did this happen?! Just when I think I've found new hope...Found happiness again...That damn bear takes it away!"

Kuzumi:*sighs and lowers her hands to her sides* First Mondo...And now Taka...Why did this happen?! Just when I think I've found new hope...Found happiness again...That damn bear takes it away!" I smiled and said " you haven't lost me! Im still here with ya sister!" She turns and crys tears of joy.

She nods " I know...And...You're the only reason I have not to take my knife and kill myself after this trial. I tried it once, but since you can't live without me...I won't do it again. I refuse to put you through the same hell I've experienced." This made me cry and grab her in a hug "yeah we'll make it out of this together" she hugs him tighter "Taka's happy...he's with Mondo now isn't he?" I nodded "im sure of it" suddenly Monokuma appeared.

" Aw give me a break! You honestly think he's HAPPY where he is?! There is no afterlife or happiness! Only death and despair! Anyway, the Class Trial will now begin!" I clenched my fist but calmed down "it isn't worth ths fight" we walked to the elevator with everyone else and Kuzumi vowed " No. Not again. I refuse...To let him take my happiness again. No matter what he said...I believe you." I nod, we will unmask the killer, to avenge Taka, for my sisters sake.
