For this scenario the reader is ftm, I did a bit of research to make sure I wasn't being completely ignorant and making totally wrong statements but I hope you like this.

Makoto Naegi:
* Who bullies you: your family and ex-friends.

*Makoto doesn't understand why your family refuses to support you but he's grateful that you came out to him.

*He is a short boy, so physically he's not very intimidating. But ohhhh boy he can be observant and will call out any inconsistencies.

* Also if you need any help with the binder or whatever he'll be happy to assist you however he can. He's also going to be very good at making sure you're taking care of yourself.

* In the event that he does meet your parents, he'll probably notice that they refuse to call you by your name and will repeatedly use your dead name/pronouns even after you tell them to stop. So he steps in and helps you out. He's very persistent on making sure they use the right terms for you and if your siblings are like your parents then you'll have dinners at his house with his family. Seriously as soon as you two leave the first dinner at your house he'll ask you if you wanted to move in with him as soon as possible. You're part of the Naegi family now, for better or worse (and by that I mean through marriage not adoption Makoto wants to marry you, you cutie pie 🥰)

* As for your friends, well, he wants to help you stand up to them, too. He's got your back-and when you're comfortable enough to come out the the rest of the class they do too. Honestly you for real got your own cheer squad.

* If you get stressed or scared about going to the doctor you can bet that Makoto will go with you. Actually if you're nervous about going out in general he'll be with you.

* In fact I can see the rest of Makoto's friend group being really good with accepting you as you are, it's really cute.

* The guys would help you find good clothes that look good on you and the girls would help you come to terms with who you are.

* Sayaka would probably make a song for you to help encourage you and also lowkey calling out your parents in the process

* SLEEPOVERS. The gang loves sleepovers and you're invited to every single one. You're welcome. They have the best snacks.
