My best friend Makoto Naegi had gotten executed for killing Mukuro Ikusaba, but I know he's innocent! We made a promise that we'll escape together... So no matter what happens, I'll get out of this hell hole, For Makoto. I never got to confess my feelings to him... But I can at least escape for him!

We all placed our votes and waited for the sound of our votes being correct, but instead heard a loud alarm resembling one of a purge siren.

"W-wait we were wrong?!" I yelled out. What?! How could we be wrong?! We discussed everything and all of the evidence led to her!" "You guessed wrong! I guess it's time to reveal the mastermind before I execute you all!"

The throne Monokuma was standing on was engulfed by smoke.

"Ha..Haha... Hahah..! Hahahahahaha..! Hahahahahah! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" A psychotic laugh echoed throughout the trial room."You idiots. I had to carry the trials all for you guys. I decided to see what would happen if I weren't there for you all! So I faked my own execution. I faked getting crushed. I faked dying. And everything went downhill. You all are so lucky to have (y/n). She guided you all when I left. Even Kyoko did nothing! You all are complete... IDIOTS."

That voice... "Makoto..?" "Ah... I'm so glad you're still alive (y/n)... You made it so far... And you did so much... You're so determined to escape and keep our promise... Right?"

I stared at him in disbelief. No no no this can't be happening! "Please tell me you're joking."

"Why would I be joking? I did this all for you! I started this killing game because I knew I'd win! And now all of your friends are gonna die! Isn't that amazing~? The despair of your friends dying!"

"You're a monster." I spit out. My words were filled with venom and I gripped my podium."Oh~... The feeling of despair... The despair of you insulting me~... It's so lovely..." He grips his body and starts drooling.

"Anyways... Let's get started shall we~?" He cheerfully walks over to the punishment button."WAIT-!" "It's too late (y/n). All of your friends are going to die~! Now, let's give it all we've got! Iiiiit's punishment tiiime~!"

He smacks the button and all of my friends are dragged to their deaths. I heard blood curdling screams and cries, but I couldn't do anything. Makoto walked behind me and gave me a hug, his warm breath hitting my ear. I tried screaming but nothing came out.

"Aww~ Look how cute you are~ That look of despair on your face is so beautiful~" He kissed my ear and picked me up. "We can live in this school forever and ever~ Nobody can distract us... Nobody in our way.... And the outside world can burn while we live in peace..."

"We'll be together, FOREVER. AND YOU'LL NEVER ESCAPE ME."
