Side: Future 6: No Man Is An Island

Real quick, I have not seen or will watch Episode 7 until the next Info dump is done. That way, I can speak more liberally. Now enjoy the chapter!

The fuck, Kodaka? What's with the eye?

Though, THIS is how you start an episode off! Hiro right off the bat!

So, now Hina AND Hiro took off their jackets. They're now that couple that wears matching outfits. Awesome!

So, Hiro predicted Monomi correctly, at least. Either that or Kodaka made a mistake.

Hiro's predicting a happy ending? Well, in DR1, his predictions were pretty spot on, mostly. He said "no more murders" right before Sakura took her own life, the dead Mukuro was revealed and Junko more or less took her own life. Plus, to get the bad ending, you have to pick "expose the lie" which is one out of three choices, or 30%, which means his prediction about him and Makoto having the same woman give birth to their children had a 30% success rate. And Danganronpa ALWAYS has a happy ending, in a way, and we know for sure that Despair Arc isn't gonna end with smiles on everyone's faces. I have faith in my boy Hiro.

This flashback is really important. This is perhaps Kyosuke's plan he mentioned to Tengan. It's also the origin of Chisa's picture, but that's less important and more feelsy.

NOW you call her Chisa, dude? My god.

So, I'm gonna say this now so we never have to say it again. This is him cutting off ties with Chisa, moving on in a way, but he calls her by her first name because he can't fully move on. We good? Good. Let's move on.

Now, recall the first Info Dump. Part of Juzo's tarot card theory was that him and Kyosuke were going to have a falling out, part of that theory came from the katana shown by him. Well, that katana is now inside Chisa, so that might be a bump in the road for that idea, but Kyosuke still has that other sword. Why? Someone on tumblr, I forget who, said. "One for Yukizome, one for Sakakura." So, yeah.

You're not getting me with a dream, Kodaka! I'm too smart for that!

Let me point out everything wrong with this scene.

1. Kyoko was going to go look at Gozu's body, and Makoto is nowhere near that, so this makes no sense.

2. Kyosuke has his right eye.

3. That is too much blood. Chisa, Gozu, and Seiko didn't have that much of a Carrie splatter effect.

4. Kyosuke has the katana he just left in Chisa. without any blood on it, mind you.

And 5.

This Corpse Party style nightmare fuel right here.

Man, Kodaka sure loves torturing the right eye, doesn't he?

Monomi moved here ears when she spoke there. I know she's Monaca, but that was HILARIOUS!

So, how many of you were screaming when Ryota was alive?

Koichi is too! Bonus!

Are you kidding me, Kodaka? LET US SEE THEIR FACE!

Koichi is really pressing Kyoko, isn't he? From offering a drink to that hallway scene to bringing up her dad, he really likes pressing her buttons, doesn't he? Doesn't mean I don't like him. He's great!

Excuse me, I need a minute to vent.

FUCK EVERYTHING! FUCK YOU KODAKA!

SONOSUKE DID NOTHING WRONG!

That being said, we finally got more Despair Pollution music. We've only had that for those security assholes and Hina's tomato fake death. I wonder what that means.

Now, this means Seiko AND Sonosuke were killed. Why? Kyoko said "That was the third time limit." Third time limit. Chapter 3. Two victims. Taka and Hifumi. Ibuki and Hiyoko. Seiko and Sonosuke. So far, this is the first time we REALLY REALLY cared about both victims. I don't mean that I extremely hate Hifumi or Hiyoko, they just weren't fan favorites like Taka or Ibuki or now Seiko and Sonosuke.

That Ryota scream, though. Another Makoto resemblance. Please have him be a protagonist-like figure and live. Please, Kodaka!

And Ruruka is fine, too. Well, physically.

Wait, wait wait wait, hold up a second there. Miaya/Monomi said "The wound is from a katana, it wasn't the attacker, Munakata finally killed him." Are they just assuming that the attacker HAS to use a Monokuma knife each time? Are they assuming Kyosuke isn't the attacker and just used his katana for convenience sake? I mean, that's actually what happened because we saw it, but there's no way the other characters can just know that from seeing the wound. I feel like that's a bit of stretched logic on their part.

Monaca's just got a giant fucking dessert with her while she controls a robot. To quote John Melaney, "This is the height of luxury!"

How did Kyosuke not notice that? Did he write it after he left? Wasn't he already dead by then?

Also, he took the time to write out this sentence instead of who the attacker is? I'm pretty sure there's less letters in "The attacker is _." than in that message of hope.

Some people also think it might have been Kyosuke who wrote that, knowing that he is despairing over the recent events. If that's true, it makes even LESS sense why he wrote that and not who the attacker is! Unless he was so stubborn that he thought word of mouth is the only way to relay that message.

Also, 11037 anyone?

It takes a certain kind of person for Monaca to call them a loser. Good job, Makoto.

Anyone think of Kay Faraday when Hina punched the air?

Yeah Makoto, there MUST be something that can break down these walls! How about Miaya's rockets? you just gonna forget about those?

Ha. Funny.

Also, look how much Monaca ate in that amount of time! That's practically half empty by now!

Before you start making any "half full, half empty" jokes, I say it's half empty because Monaca is eating it, therefore removing the substance inside, making it more empty. Riddle solved, bitches!

So, Sonosuke has powder on his face. Cue the "Ruruka killed Sonosuke" theories.

"Attackers", huh? Perhaps Ruruka also thinks the attacker might alternate or change. It's kind of weird that she would say attackers instead of attacker. Just a thing to note.

WHERE THE FUCK IS THE SECRET ENTRANCE!? Did it just vanish!? Did the door fold up into a knife and stab Sonosuke!? What the fuck, Kodaka!?

Now, let me talk about a theory real quick.

Someone said that there may be 2 Sonosukes. One in the hallway and one in the library. Reasons are that Kyoko is not the type to move a body to examine it, and Ruruka was upset inside the library, asking for help. Another reason could be that why move only Sonosuke's body and not move Seiko's too? Pretty sure this might not be the case, the probability it very very low, but just a thought.

Guys, Byakuya finally DID show up in the anime! For reals this time!

Only Byakuya would sip tea while talking about another mutual killing game.

So, is the broadcast a lie or did the outside Future Foundation not see it?

So glad that Makoto didn't forget my boy Hiro.

Well fuck.

There goes anybody's "Chiaki is the REAL Miaya" theories. And even if it's true, she's dead anyway.

Someone commented on how Miaya died in the same way the security guards died in Side: Future 1, so she was definitely killed by whoever set up the game.

Someone theorized that maybe Izuru killed her. After all, she was helping them rehabilitate. Possible, but unlikely.

Nice to know that Mikasa Ackerman gave Miaya her scarf as a token of friendship.

Byakuya is fucking smart. Instantly knows that Monaca is behind Miayandroid.

THERE THEY ARE! MY FUCKING GIRLS!

THE BEST MASOCHIST IN TOWN AND THE TRUE ULTIMATE LITTLE SISTER!

I fucking love both Toko and Komaru, I don't ship it by the way, and I fucking FREAKED OUT when they came on screen!

Nice to know Komaru is still supplying panty shots. Yuta Asahina in blushing and nosebleeding in heaven.

Byakuya's on his way! I'm ready for this!

You think Byakuya's just gonna see Hiro on the ground, eating fish and think to himself "Figures he'd be the one stuck outside" or something?

THERE HE IS! It's so great knowing that Hajime is finally back in act-

Nevermind, we are all gonna die.

Just kidding. This might be Izuru. Very likely it is from saying that this is boring, but it could also be...

This guy. Awakened Hajime.

You know how Taka turned into Kiyondo Ishida in his awakened form? Does that make this guy Hajiaki Hinami? Cause Chiaki woke him, right? That's not shipping, that's a genuine thought.

Well, the title is a bit confusing, but I THINK I get it. "no man is an island" is referring to how everyone is working together, nobody is alone. Makoto has Hina and Miaya. Kyoko has Ryota, Koichi, and Ruruka. Toko has Komaru. Byakuya has... the Future Foundation guys? Then again, Kyosuke seems alone. And Hiro's still outside.

Speaking of which, this episode was brought to you by NOT Juzo Sakakura, because he was not in this episode at all. Minus the flashback.

So, I have a lot of information for the Info Dump, mostly about Kyosuke, but that's for later.

So, this is Emerald-kun, signing out! Peace!
