I CALLED IT!

I'm so happy about this episode! Aside from one thing in the beginning, this episode was perfect!

Okay, we got a lot on our plate, but let's go bit by bit.

I CALLED IT! I FUCKING CALLED IT! Go back to the last Future Arc chapter and see my theory! Hina didn't die! The blood puddle! The knife! Fuck yeah man!

That said, is this why the blood is red? For tomato sauce? All to confuse us about Hina's death? Damn you Kodaka.

And Great Gozu is fucking DEAD! Like we all thought, but much sooner.

It just goes to show, if you say something enough times, it will come true. "Great Gozu is gonna die! Hina is alive!"

Based on what happens in the episode, I don't need to go over the title.

Rest is peace Great Gozu. You deserved better. At least you got episode two. You had your moment to shine. Daisaku didn't get that, so feel better. We barely got to know him, but you had a great speech and an epic fight. 

More shipping moments for this. What the heck is the name of this ship? Izando? Rurusuke? I like Izando. I also really like this ship.

Also, look at the painting in the background. The Monolisa.

I think I was right. The sleeping drug is once a day.

I think Kyoko suspects Kazuo as the traitor. She thought he didn't look too worried.

Can we just talk about Juzo's eyes for a moment? He looks thrown off by what Kyosuke said. he seems to not want him to die. This is actually a good Juzo moment and I like him a bit more now.

Speaking of liking someone more, Kyosuke in this scene. He is really deep.

So, basically, Great Gozu died so we could have Hina in a tank top and hotpants for the rest of the season? Man, I love this guy!

I love how Makoto has to look away and Miaya is just totally fine. I know it's the whole girls and guys thing, but I'm surprised Monomi didn't say anything.

I feel like this is important, unless Miaya is the traitor or attacker. If she isn't, Monokuma could have deleted some important information about the game or the mastermind.

Now, Miaya's forbidden action is she can't turn right? Actually, she didn't show her bracelet, so we don't have any confirmation. It's possible she's lying. Another thing to show she might be lying is episode 2. Didn't she turn right and left a few times when "running" up to Makoto, Hina, and Gozu? I'm not quite sure if that counts or if she's lying or if it's just a mistake.

So, Makoto still can't run in the halls. The forbidden actions are constant. That must suck not being able to run.

So Hina can't be punched or kicked. Explains why she backed down from Juzo, but I feel like there is a disadvantage now for her. A dangerous one if Juzo tries to fight her.

Soul mates! I love it! None of these three better die!

Seiko is alone. That's suspicious. Come to think of it, we didn't really see where Seiko went last episode. Makoto, Hina, Gozu, Kyosuke, Juzo, and Miaya all left the meeting hall. Kyoko, Kazuo, and Ryota stayed put, and Sonosuke and Ruruka went to have se- I mean hide in that room. But, we didn't really see Seiko leave. Or Koichi for that matter. More suspicious.

Ah, I'm so happy that Hiro's alive, man. Happy birthday, dude!

Why's the helicopter there? Is that the one that attacked the Future Foundation in the first episode? Why'd it bother trying to shoot Hiro?

And he lives. Thank god.

I had this delusion where Yuta Asahina from Ultra Despair Girls is still alive and Yasuhiro is going to find his unconscious one-armed body washed upon the shore of Future Foundation and then he'll carry him in where Hina will be so happy and excited to see her brother alive and relatively well and Hiro alive that she'll get too caught up in the moment and kiss him, but then immediately back out and blush and apologize and be all cute and I JUST WANT YUTA TO LIVE AND FOR YUTARU AND ASAKURE TO BE REAL!!!!!

Kyoko's being crafty. Using that mirror. Aw hell yeah! Time to be a detective again!

Kyoko and Ryota can't say their forbidden actions. Great... I guess we won't find out immediately.

Makoto's big speech/summary of what happened between DR1 and now. Love it!

That Izuru moment. WE SAW HIS FACE! Part of it at least.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Byakuya Togami!

I really just freaked out that Byakuya was there. Glad to see them sticking to the true timeline.

Now, Byakuya is sort of semi-confirmed for the Future Arc, as there was a thing where it showed all Future Arc and Despair Arc sprites and Byakuya in his Future Foundation suit was there. So, is this the only screen time he'll get? If it is, I'll be pissed. I want more! I want to see Byakuya! And Toko! And Komaru! And maybe Kanon! And Yuta, please be alive...

I just really loved Makoto's big speech here. It really fits him and it's great to see him begin the badass he was in the class trials.

I don't know why Kyoko was smiling when Makoto revealed the code. Is she proud that he's still himself? That he's very hopeful? Honest? Fair? Either way, Naegiri moment?

Dammit, what's wrong now? Hina, Monomi/Miaya, and Seiko look worried. It can't be a body because everybody shows up after this moment. So, what could that possibly be?

I have a theory that something bad happened to Kyosuke during the Tragedy and that's why his resolve of hope is to eliminate all despair instead of find hope in despair like Makoto. Just a hunch, but I really like where his character is going.

Ruruka was very animated there. With that bend forward and those movements.

Shipping intensifies.

Okay, now I really want to know what Seiko saw. It clearly made her extremely upset and blame Ruruka.

Okay, now we're getting some insight on what happened between Seiko and Ruruka. Seiko used some kind of drug to do something and that apparently betrayed her.

SHE HAS BRACES! SHE HAS BRACES! SHE IS A CINNAMON ROLL!

So, this is what I got spoiled. I got spoiled that Seiko has braces, something crazy happened at the start of the episode which I'm pretty sure was living donut and dead bull, and that we get to know what happened between Ruruka and Seiko, but that last one seems to be false. We only get a slight hint towards it.

So, those pills...

About these pills...

1. They are green so I think they are most likely what contributed to Teruteru's power soup.

2. Anybody else think the hair reminds you of Izuru? Or Isshiki Madarai from DR Zero? Haji, any thoughts?

3. How did that many pills fit in that bottle?

4. Where was she keeping that bottle?

And 5. Her braces disappear when she grabs the kunai in her teeth. Not as impressive as Great Gozu breaking one with his bare hand.

Koichi, I love you man. "Bunch of kids."

So, he knows what happened between Ruruka and Seiko. He said "How long are they gonna stay mad about it?" Interesting.

I'm a slight bit thrown off about why Kyoko stops there. Does it have to do with Makoto?

Just kidding. This is more evidence for the "Kyosuke can't open doors" theory.

This epic face off between Makoto and Kyosuke is pure bad ass about to go down next episode!

Kyosuke mentions that he faced true despair. This goes with what I talked about earlier, about how Kyosuke's resolve is different.

I'm just waiting for all the Undertale jokes about how Makoto wants to use his words to beat despair and not fight. Pacifist Makoto jokes, GO!

Okay, Chisa and Kyosuke wanted a world without despair, which is why he resolved to destroy despair.

"Too bad this wasn't a classroom trial." Wow. Well, if it was, his words could easily stop your blade with a simple SORE WA CHIGAU YO/YOU'VE GOT THAT WRONG!

And with that, we reach the end of another episode! I think this is my favorite Future Arc episode so far, minus Great Gozu's death.
