Well, that explains why Tengan scouted Ryota personally. I think.

So, Chisa, by giving the video to Tengan, inevitably caused the killing game, ultimately causing her death. Irony.

I find it funny how the sub makes Ryota's phone say "Down load" like its two words. Fail.

Okay, so Tengan is 100% confirmed traitor. Unless Kodaka wants to pull the rug from under us even MORE. I hope not.

Wait, so this means that Gozu was protecting the guy that would create the game that would cause his death. The protector protected the figurehead, and the figurehead caused the deaths of the bodyguard and the figurehead. And the only canon DR ship. FUCK.

Cool! Hope video! I wondered why Ryota never made something like that.

Time for Ryota to go though a 'doing the wrong thing for the right reasons' phase.

This game has changed Ryota. His outlook of hope and despair has changed, and his opinion of Makoto. The game made him realize that Makoto, someone he looked up to, is powerless when despair strikes, from all the deaths and swordsman running around. Ryota realizes his last resort is using the Hope Video, and what makes this great character development, is that Ryota's opinion of Makoto has changed so much that he ordered his execution practically.

I bet he'll take off his jacket in Hope: Side.

I've never been so happy to see Kyosuke.

It's so interesting seeing Makoto and Kyosuke work together now.

I thought that the message might be for Ryota. I misinterpreted the meaning, but... Half credit?

Is Ryota climbing the rope slower than a normal person would, or is it just me? He did kind of spend high school not going to PE and drawing anime and eating snacks with a fat John Travolta.

It's not often someone gets a bullet wound in Danganronpa. I think the only person to die from a gun is that student council girl. For a series about bloody murder and despair, guns aren't used that much. I hope at least one guy gets shot to death in V3.

There's only one episode left and still one major question that's been unanswered for so long.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT PICKAXE ON THE FIFTH FLOOR THAT SAYS "CRAZY DIAMONDS" ON IT IN DR1!?

We have gotten NO clue about what that's for, cause carpenters don't use pick axes, so Mondo has no excuse.

My headcanon is that Takemichi uses it as a weapon in the gang.

One last thing, remember Ryota's death in the opening? Three arrows that pierce him? So far nothing has come close to that in the anime.

But, right now, Ryota has Kyosuke, Makoto, and Hajime/Izuru coming after him. Three people that represent hope.

Ryota may die, Ryota may be stopped and live, but something in Side: Hope should match up with it, right?
