Side: Despair 3: A Farewell To All Futures
Well, that escalated quickly.
I am severely disappointed by the extremely small amount of Gundam in this episode.
A very ominous opening with Hajime walking away from the school.
Truth be told, I am very proud of this episode. They didn't fuck around too much and got the story right out of the way.
I love how the Twilight Syndrome Murder Case music plays during this segment. Throwback! Love it!
A bitch at the start, Natsumi doesn't give a very nice first impression. But that swimsuit will.
WHY DON'T WE GET HER FIRST FUCKING NAME!?
I like her hair, though. It's cute.
So... Mahiru, Sato, and Natsumi all went to the same middle school.
Poor Mahiru. She doesn't deserve anything during this scene. Just being a really kind peacemaker.
Does this worry anyone else!? Well, not that much. I just think this gives us a reason as to why Junko targeted Mahiru for Ultimate Despair. She targeted the hopes of things! Explains also why she went after Izuru.
And then Peko and Fuyuhiko have the chat in the alley. Explains why Natsumi is in the Reserve Course.
Ibuki, why you no think they were doing romantic things and give us a Kuzupeko moment? In the first episode you were yelling about love and hormones, where is that Ibuki!?
Ah, my two favorite dorks/my OTP playing video games together. I love it!
She did her puffy face! Aw, I want to see it from the front!
This little talk about talent between these two is a really nice moment.
This just makes me laugh too hard.
Then Natsumi and Sato are arguing. Luckily, Hajime is there to keep things from getting out of hand.
Ah, she's not a bitch. She's just a tsundere that wants to have talent. Aw, I feel bad for her.
Why do they black out Fuyuhiko and Peko's faces when Natsumi talks about them? It's not like we don't know them.
And she's dead. Well that was quick.
Sad Fuyuhiko and angry sad Peko make me sad...
Okay, I need to bring this up. Sato was confirmed to have killed Natsumi, but she lies to Mahiru. This is the only thing that she does that I can't find reason for. She's a close friend, why lie?
I like the touch of the flower on her desk. That's an actual thing that they do in Japan when a student dies.
And in a flash, we are already past the Twilight Syndrome Murder Case. That was quick.
Hi Juzo. I didn't think you'd show up in this arc already.
Geez, Juzo's being quite the dick to Hajime. Punching, stepping on him, spitting at him. What kind of security is this?
Go Chisa! Once again, being badass! I love this woman!
So, Juzo's in on the investigation, too. Figured he would. But, it is very clear that he and Chisa have different views on how they wish to carry out the investigation, or at least how to treat the students.
I feel so bad for Mahiru! She lost her friend after finding out that she murdered the new transfer student. Quite the bad day.
Chisa. I love this woman. This little bit of comedy they slipped in was great!
I really hope Juzo's not going to be such an asshole as he's been the past few episodes. That bit at the end there says that he cares about Kyosuke and Chisa. Maybe we just need to look deeper inside him.
This scene... Where do I start?
Just look at Chiaki! She was waiting for Hajime with so much anticipation and she was so happy when he got there, but then he had to go somewhere and she got sad.
But... For all my fellow Hinanami shippers out there...
Did anyone else think what Chiaki was going to say was confessing her feelings? My mind went there... She probably wouldn't this early, but a shipper can dream.
I also thought it was nice when Hajime cheered Chiaki up. Sad Chiaki makes me sad.
And here we go. The moment where shit's about to hit the fan. Or, at least the prelude to it.
Koichi is also against the Izuru Kamukura project. Adding more to his awesomeness.
Hajime enters the point of no return. He will become Izuru Kamukura and then when Junko shows up, all hell will break loose.
Well, that episode was interesting. Gave us some more details about TSMC (Twilight Syndrome Murder Case). I enjoyed it.
So far, I think some of the big questions on our minds are Who killed Sato? Fuyuhiko or Peko? What is Sato's first name? What is Izuru going to be like before Junko? How's he going to affect Class 77 before Junko? Either way, we can agree that Izuru is on the horizon.
Also, there's no ending. Why?
So, I can't think of anything else important, so I guess we're done here!
This is Emerald-kun, signing out! Peace!
