Monokuma: "Good morning everyone! It is now 7am. Time for another beautiful day!"

Ding!

I woke up to the morning announcement as well as the sound of a text message.

Sora: Hm?

I sit up and take out my Monopad. It was a message from Mia.

Mia: [Hey Sora, you up?]

Sora: [Yeah.]

Mia: [Great 😊! Hey, sorry for getting upset earlier. I don't know what got over me.]

Sora: [Don't worry about it. Are you okay?]

Mia: [Yep. No thanks to Alicia. She was a big help.]

Sora: [Good. I'll see you breakfast.]

Mia: [See ya.]

I put my Monopad away as Mononeko came up to me.

Mononeko: Ready to go, Sora?

Sora: Yeah, let's get going.

With Mononeko by my side, we headed straight for the kitchen. Everyone was there, including Seiketsu.

Sora: And I thought you having breakfast yesterday was just a one time thing.

Seiketsu: It was. Up until that annoying idiot woke me from my sleep.

Sora: Satoka?

Seiketsu: Nope. The other one.

Kotone: Hey! Don't lump me in with him! Look, I have my reasons okay? It's a higher rate of survival if we're all together and not separated.

Seiketsu: Yeah, whatever.

Strawberry: More importantly, Mia, I see you're feeling much better now.

Mia: Yeah, no thanks to Alicia.

Sora: Hm?

That's when I noticed something different about her. There was a beautiful necklace hanging around her neck.

Sora: Isn't that the necklace from the first island?

Alicia: Cute right? Chris gave it to me, but it wasn't really my style so I gave it to Mia instead.

Chris: I don't mind. It was meant for good luck, but with everything that's happened, Mia will definitely need it more than Alicia.

Mia: Right... sorry for freaking out yesterday...

Kotone: It's fine. Happens to the best of us.

Mia: Still, I even let that creep get in my head. Ugh... I'll definitely work hard so that never happens again.

Kanzen: Creep? Is she talking about me?

Alicia: Who else?

I then noticed the book in Chris' hands.

Sora: You're still reading that?

Chris: Yeah. Sorry, I couldn't help but find this Gwen Reida girl interesting.

Artoria: Gwen Reida?

Kotone: Wait, you mean THE Gwen Reida?!

Prix: Do you know her?

Kotone: She's like, a super famous actress where I'm from! She's so good that when she plays a character, you can barely recognize that it's her! I've watched all her movies and she looks like an entirely different person in each one!

Satoka: Sounds pretty fake. Is something like that even possible?

Alicia: It's not impossible to look like a completely different person. But to look completely different in every single movie is quite the accomplishment. I'm surprised I haven't heard about her myself.

Mia: ... Well, this is just a theory but it could be possible that we all come from different worlds.

Frostwing: Different worlds?

Mia: Well it's just a theory. But there's been some inconsistencies that have been on my mind. For example, I'm one of the smartest people in my universe and I know about the Time Patrol and Super Saiyans because they exist in my world. The same applies for Hunters like Crimson. But in my world Deadpool doesn't have a daughter. Much less two of them.

Strawberry: Wait, really?

Mia: That's not all. Angel, do you remember any Saiyans where you're from?

Angel: I... actually you're right. I actually never heard of them up until now...

Prix: I see. It would also explain why Mia knows who Alicia is despite none of us having any knowledge of her. Some of us are from the same worlds while others are from different worlds entirely.

Kotone: I see... then Gwen would only exist in my world huh? That's kinda a bummer.

Artoria: ... ... ...

Artoria was staring at the book in Chris' hands.

Chris: Hm? Is something wrong?

Artoria: Huh? Oh um nothing. I actually don't feel so good so I'll be in my room if you need me.

Artoria stood up, walking to her room unusually shaken.

Kotone: Is something wrong with Artoria? She doesn't usually leave without finishing her food.

Anna: I don't know... I'll go check on her.

Anna left as well.

Satoka: Well that was weird.

Angel: Is Artoria okay?

Frostwing: I'm sure she's fine. For now let's eat up.

Seiketsu: ... Right...

I spent some time eating with everyone else. Though as we ate I couldn't help but feel this knot in my stomach.

After I was done, I headed back to my room.

Sora: It seems I have time to myself. I should use it wisely.

Free Time (Angel)

I walked to Angel's room and knocked on the door. It didn't take long for her to open up.

Angel: Oh, hey Sora.

Sora: Angel. You wanna hang out?

Angel: Sure!

With a sparkle in her eyes, Angel and I played around a little on the ship.

Sora: You sure are energetic today.

Angel: Hm? I thought I was always the energetic type.

Sora: Well you're not wrong.

Angel: My friends used to say the same thing though so I don't blame you.

Sora: Hm? Oh, you have friends?

Angel: Well of course... you didn't think I just hung out with my brother, did you?

Sora: Well, you're a demon who can shapeshift. I would imagine people would be a bit distrustful at first.

Angel: ... ... ...

Sora: Oh! Sorry, I guess that came out wrong.

Angel: No, you're not wrong. For a long time it has been just me and my brother. But eventually I met new friends. Now I have even more friends with you and everyone on this island. Honestly, I couldn't be happier.

Sora: Right... if only our situation were different.

Angel: Right... but that's why I want to try and stay positive. After all, if one of us doesn't try to lift the mood every once in a while, our whole group could crumble.

Sora: You're not wrong...

Angel might be a bit childish at times but there's something about the way she talks. It's almost as if she's already experienced these types of dangerous situations. Well, she is a demon. Who knows what kind of stuff she's went through. Still, I think I got a little closer to her today.

After hanging out with Angel, I returned to my room and looked at the clock.

Sora: I still have time.

Free Time (Frostwing)

I went to Frostwing's room and knocked on the door. As usual, he answered right away.

Frostwing: Hm? You need something?

Sora: Yeah. Wanna spar with me?

Frostwing: Hmm... sure.

I spent some time sparring with Frostwing. We kept going until we were both exhausted. Eventually we took a break.

Frostwing: That was pretty good. Water?

I sat down as he handed me some water, which I gladly accepted.

Sora: Thanks.

As I drank the water, a thought came to mind.

Sora: Hey Frostwing...

Frostwing: Hm?

Sora: You still haven't answered my question... about how come you're so confident that I'll get my memory back.

Frostwing: I see. I guess you don't get it do you?

Sora: Hm?

Frostwing: There are certain things one can pick up from when sparring. For example, muscle memory.

Sora: Muscle memory?

Frostwing: From the moment we first started doing this I could feel it. You must have gone through your fair share of training in the past. You may have lost your memories, but your body doesn't lie.

Sora: My body?

Frostwing: Of course, you don't seem to be a fighter, but you seem to already know how to defend yourself physically, to the point that you seem to be a master at it. It's hard to believe you were that good in just the short amount of time you've been here.

Sora: Is that so?

So I've more than likely trained in defending myself? But if that's true then... what have I been trying to protect myself from?

Frostwing: I'll be honest, if you weren't working so hard to retrieve your memories, I don't think you would have discovered this fact.

Sora: Hm? Really?

Frostwing gave me a nod and a confident smile.

Frostwing: With enough effort and hard work, you can accomplish just about anything. That's what I believe at least.

That's right... Frostwing is a hard working person. It's because of that hard work and confident attitude that Artoria made him our leader.

I think I got to know Frostwing a bit better today.

The intercoms turned on.

Monokuma: "Ladies and Gentlemen it is now 10pm! Time to have a sweet and blissful night of murderous dreams! Puhuhuhuhu!"

The Nighttime Announcement ended. I sat on my bed with Mononeko.

Sora: Nighttime already, huh?

Mononeko: Yeah. We learned a lot more about this island but not much about our memories.

Sora: That's fine. What we got is enough.

Mononeko: Still... Artoria was acting unusual today. As soon as that Gwen person was brought up. I wonder, could she know her?

Sora: Still, that wouldn't be a reason to freak out over it... unless...

Mononeko: Hm?

Sora: ... No, it's nothing. It's probably just my imagination. Let's head to sleep.

Mononeko: ...Okay...

I laid down and rested my eyes, drifting off to sleep.

Mononeko Theater

Mononeko: Hello everyone. I apologize that there's no Monokuma Theater today but I hope this will suffice. Anyway today's lesson is on another Seven Deadly Sin, Greed. After all, in a world that provides enough to satisfy every man's needs, not everyone can be completely satisfied. Everyone always wants more. But if you try and grab too much more than you can handle, if you try to achieve all your goals faster than you can fathom, then you will only tear yourself apart. You will be the reason why you fall into despair.

Monokuma: "Attention! It is now 7am! Time to rise and shine for another beautiful day~!"

The Morning Announcement woke me from my sleep. I rubbed my eyes as Mononeko hopped onto my lap.

Mononeko: Good morning Sora.

Sora: Morning Neko. Ready to get up for breakfast?

Mononeko: Yep!

We headed from our rooms into the kitchen. Everyone was there except Artoria and Seiketsu.

Kanzen: Good morning Sora!

Sora: Ugh...

I take a look around.

Sora: I understand Seiketsu but Artoria too?

Anna: Yeah, I guess she's still not feeling well.

Mononeko: Artoria isn't usually the type to miss a meal. Did that picture bother her that much?

Strawberry: Hmm... hey Chris, mind if I borrow that book you were reading?

Chris: Hm? Oh sorry, I already put it back last night.

Strawberry: Oh, well that's fine. I guess I'll take a look at it tonight then.

Sora: And Seiketsu?

Kotone: Satoka and I tried knocking on his door but he wouldn't answer. So we just concluded he wasn't in there and gave up.

Sora: Gave up? Isn't that something to be worried about?

Kotone and Satoka both looked at each other then shook their heads.

Satoka: Nah. He's not the type to go down that easily.

Kotone: Yeah. With his guard up so much, it would take a real expert to catch him off guard. I knew plenty of people like that.

Sora: I see... then I guess there's no point in worrying.

I let out a quick sigh of relief as we all continued to eat together. Though I couldn't help but feel this... knot in my stomach.

Once I was done with breakfast, I left to my room.

Sora: Nothing much is happening today. I guess I've got some free time.

Free Time (Mia)

I went to Mia's room and knocked on the door. She opened it up.

Mia: Oh, Sora, it's you.

Sora: Yeah. Wanna hang out?

Mia: Sure. Come on in.

I stepped into Mia's room and we hung out. It seems Mia was in the middle of experimenting on something.

Sora: What are you working on?

Mia: Hm? Medicine.

Sora: Medicine? Isn't there an infirmary on the island?

Mia: Yeah, but they're not the ones I prefer. My dad was a scientific genius, he would make drugs that boost one's physical strength and speed, but will purposefully give them terrible side effects. I make these drugs without the side effects just for the fun of it.

Sora: Wait, he'll make side effects on purpose?

Mia: Yeah. My dad was a terrible person. Let's just say I wasn't exactly a planned child. Me nor my sisters.

Sora: "Sisters"? Eve isn't the only one?

Mia: Nope. It's me, Eve, and Lucy. Lucy is a harpy who's just as smart as me, despite being quite the troublemaker. She's only one of my many half sisters though. We share the same dad.

Sora: Only one?

Just what kind of life did she have?

Mia: Still, Lucy might be a trouble maker, but she's not a bad person. She would be devastated if she found out about the situation we're in.

Sora: I'm sure she's worried. But we just need to hang in there and get out of here.

Mia: Right!

Mia smiles and nods. I think I got to know her better today.

After hanging out with Mia, I returned to my room, looking at the time.

Sora: Hmm... I still have time for the day.

I headed to Mia's room and knocked on the door. She opened up, covered in smoke.

Mia: Oh, hey Sora. You wanna help clean up this mess?

Sora: Um sure.

I spent time today helping Mia clean up her room.

Sora: I'm surprised. I didn't expect your work with medicine to be quite so... explosive.

Mia: Oh, that's because I didn't work on medicine, but a camera.

Sora: A camera?

Mia: I saw Chris' all-purpose camera and thought I just had to create a replica! But I slipped up a little and it caused an accident.

Sora: Oh, so you work with more than just medicine?

Mia: Yep. My mom may be a wrestler and my other mom may be a pianist, but I'm a science girl through and through!

Sora: Other mom?

Mia: Yeah. My wrestler mom took me and Eve away from our dad and started dating a girl with a family line of musicians. I took my father's science side but it's fine so long as I don't use it for messed up stuff like my dad did.

Sora: I see. Are your two moms...

Mia: If you're wondering if they're as bad as my dad, don't worry, they aren't. Though my pianist mom can be a little scary.

Sora: I see.

Mia: I honestly miss them... I can't wait to see my family again.

Sora: I know...

Mia really cares about her family. I think I got to know her a little better.

After helping Mia clean her room, I returned to my room, just in time for the Nighttime Announcement.

Mononeko: H-Huh?!

Sora: A body discovery announcement. But why now? Did Monokuma make a mistake?

Mononeko: I doubt it. Someone found a body. But where?

That's when I remembered, Strawberry said she was going to visit the library.

Sora: We need to go... Now!

Without hesitation, Neko and I left the room and headed straight to the Library. Once there, we saw Anna at the front gate. Her eyes wide with tears pouring down.

Anna: ... No... Why...?

Sora: Anna, are you okay? What happened?

Anna: ... E-Everyone is already inside... everyone... everyone...

Anna looked completely broken. I immediately walked toward the door. I opened it up. The whole place was a mess and smelled like rotten flesh. Everyone was there, standing wide eyed in front of something.

Mia: No... not again...

Angel: W-Why? Why did this happen?

Frostwing Tch...

I moved passed them... praying to god that this was all some kind of joke. Some kind of mistake.

...

...

...

But then I remember... God doesn't exist on this island.

... If I'm dreaming... when... when did I fall asleep? If I'm awake... then why... why is Artoria Jackson dead right in front of me?!
