Hope!

Ginji's Pov

I sat at the desk reading more on the alter ego program, designs and overlays in order to find a way to help my sister and the other get free before more of her friends get killed. Togami gets my attention moments later "Ginji, you're going to want to see this..." I walk to the monitor I see my sister crying her eyes out screaming Taka's name.

I gasped "Kuzumi.....shes remembering" Togami shook his head correcting me "No...It's not that she's remembering...Somehow, the memories of Oowada and Ishimaru were never erased to begin with. Somehow, she kept those memories" I nod my head, it had to be true there was no other way to explain her memories of the two people she loved the most protecting those precious memories from being taken away.

Kyoko could do nothing more then agree with Togami and myself "It had to have been them. Taka and Mondo. They're the only ones who would protect her memories of them like that" Makoto smiles "I'm not surprised. Both of them loved her more than anything" we continue watching her.

She punches a tree, her knuckles bleeding more and more with every punch, and seeing her cringe every hit I wanted to be there to comfort her, she talked to herself "Ow..." she shakes her hand "This really isn't helping. But I'd hate to bother Nekomaru at this time of night..." and as if the heavens heard her please Nekomaru, the ultimate team manager appeared.

He walks up the beach " You wouldnt be bothering me"  she jumped slightly "Nekomaru?! S-Sorry...Did I wake you?" He shakes his head "No i was walking" she nods "You were get out anger?" She nods again.

He looks at her and says something I would say myself too "Thats not how you should take it out....youll hurt yourself more then anything" she frowned turning her head and crossing her arms "Better than taking it out on my friends" he frowned "Yeah..." they both sat on the beach for a moment unable to say any thing.

Then my sister looked up "I wish..." she shakes her head "It doesn't matter..." he turns to her and lets her know she could trust him "No you can tell me" she held her legs tightly fighting tears "I wish I were...Stronger. Then I could've helped Mondo...Taka....And everyone else that died" Nekomaru nodded understanding what she meant, and the frown that set his face moments later proved he had something on his mind.

She turns questioning his frown "What do you mean? You are strong" he knew this was true, he was strong physically but by the looks of things something was keeping weak mentally....something was eating at him "I know.....its just theres someone........." he looked at the waves crashing at the shore.

She smiled "Akane?" He nods and so did it, it was a girl that was eating him up inside and I had personally felt this with Chiaki.....even if there was no way of getting her out I still had feelings for her. She smiled telling him what to do "I've seen how you look at her. Go for it, big guy" he was definitely new to talking to a girl he liked or anything to do with it "Y-you think so? Im not the most romantic......" she started to tell her a story of her and Mondo.

"Neither was Mondo. He yelled when he got nervous around girls. Which is why he was so afraid to ask me" Nekomaru finished her sentance "But he found the bravery to ask" she nodded "Yeah, he was able to control his volume with me......he was able to tell his true feelings with me" he smiled "Then I guess ill try!" She smiles.

"I love you. That's all you have to say to her" he nods standing "Ok ill tell her!" I had a smile on my face as Kyoko talked to me "Ginji? Are you okay?" I nod smiling more "Yeah im happy to see her making others happy" Kyoko knew my sister well enough to know that was true "She has that effect on everyone" I nodded and used what was the best proof of that fact "Yeah she does......just look at Taka and Mondo" the monitor shifts to Nagito and Kuzumi arguing.

"Just because I miss Taka and Mondo doesn't mean that I don't love you!" This argument was getting heated because she had tears in her eyes "I know....its just you spend more time thinking of them.....then me" i could see a small twinge of jealousy in his tone as sue moved closer to him "I love you" he holds her close to him "I love you too......" she kisses him which he returns in full. They hold it for a few moments and she pulls away "I love you. And...I always think about you" he smiles "Ok......I trust you" the both smile and Kuzumi says "I do love you" he nods "I know....." I sat angry staring at the screen Hina said my name to get my attention, I shook my head "Who does he think he is?" Makoto looked at me for a moment "Ginji, what do you mean?"

I explained "Him.....and how he thinks hes all she needs to think about" Kyoko was always there to calm me down and at the moment k expected she spoke "Ginji calm down" I try to clam down but I couldn't "Don't say something you'll regret" I hold back my anger the best I can but it finally slips out "I hope something terrible happends to him so that he can feel what Kuzumi has been through!" Kyokos eyes grew wide "Ginji!" Byakuya scoffs "And you say I'm an asshole" it hits me at that moment on what exactly I said "Im the........" I sit knowing what he said was true.

Kyoko trys to change my mood "It's okay. You didn't mean it" but I did......and now I couldn't take it back "Its just.....I said it......." Kyoko put a hand on my shoulder "But you didn't mean it" I nod silently and watch my sister.

She visits Fuyuhiko in the hospital room "Hi Fuyuhiko" he sits silently looking out the window, he had things to reflect from the last trial. She holds a tray of food "Here" she sets it on his lap "Peko wouldn't want you to starve" he stares at it for a secomd or two, thanks her, and looks back out the window.

She looks at him "Fuyuhiko, I...." he turns with a lookof regret as he yells at her making her flinch "What? What is it?!" She speaks "I know what you're going through" he frowns nodding "I lost my brother too. And...Mondo was executed" he looks at her on the verge of tears "Then you know what it feels to lose........." he mumbles the last part not wanting to runi his yakuza personality. She takes a wild guess on what he said "Someone I love? Yeah. And I wish...I could've saved him too" she puts her hand on his shoulder reassuringly "I'm here for you. If you ever need to talk...." he smiles nodding " Thanks Kuzumi" she returns the smile and he eats his food talking with her, his attitude starting to shift from what it was before.

I smile as Makoto walks next to me "She's still her usual self" I nod and he reassures me she would survive this, I knew she could....she had been through so much already to not survive. Usami appears on the screen "Hello everyone" Kyoko types "Usami, what's your report?" Usami reports what she has so far with a frown "Everythings ok besides for the killing....." she frowns covering her ears in her hands "Im sorry its my fault" Kyoko types more "It's alright, Usami. But can you do us a favor?" She smiles ready for what ever Kyoko had for her "Watch out for Kuzumi and keep her safe" she salutes us "You got it!" She dissapears moments after.

With that we all watched my sister survive this killimg game, and whatever she had ahead of her.....
