Ginji's Pov

After the last dream and the discussion I had with Kuzumi on helping her escape from the virtual reality that her and the others were trapped in, I spent every waking hour devising a plan.....and I havent slept in days.

After a few days Kyoko took notice of how hard I was working and came over to talk "Ginji...I know you want to have her escape ever since you talked to her...But...You don't need to exhaust yourself. Let Makoto or someone else do this in your place" I couldnt let myself go to sleep when I could make a difference in helping the others.

I shook my head "No i feel fine.." but I wasnt fooling anyone I could feel the effects of staying awake for a few days, and Kyoko could see it too and points it out "Look at yourself, Ginji...You're exhausted. You need sleep" I stood shouting "No I need to save her!"

She glares at me and said the next sentance to shake me of my stubbornness "Kuzumi wouldn't want you to exhaust yourself like this!"

I sighed "Your right......"

She reassures me "We'll get her out together" I nod in agreement but frown sadly "I know we will but if someone trys to kill her and im not there......I dont know what I would do....." Kyoko had taken what I said about my sister to heart, and had personally seen Kuzumi's strength "That won't happen. Like you said, she's strong" I agree with her and stand up "She is......i just need sleep thats all......." she smiled seeing that she had talked me into getting some rest "I know. Now go get some rest. I'll take it from here" I thank her and go to my room falling asleep immediately.

I see Chiaki standing in front of me shining her signature smile, I blush immediately upon seeing her im unable to speak as I stand nervous.

She asks me kindly "Ginji, right? You're Kuzumi's brother" I nod answering her question "Yeah im here brother...." she smiles and tells me something that makes me smile "She misses you...You know that, right?" I nodded telling her how I felt about what she said  "I know she misses me.....every day i want to be there for her when shes hurting...."

She touches my face with her hand gently and smiled "I know you do..." I blushed at her touch, I had never talked to a girl before so my nervousness was understandable.

She smiles "I'm Chiaki, by the way" I return the smile but still had the nervous looo on my face, I thought to myself "Just be yourself dont be so nervous" I smile at her with a nervous grin "Nice to meet you Chiaki!" And the laugh that followed didn't help.

Chiaki sees the nervousness on my face and reassures me with a warm smile "You don't have to be nervous when talking to me" I studder "It just....im......" she says "You can tell me. No one's here but us. I think"

"I......" I thought to myself  "Say something you dumbass!" I could only get out  "I..."

She sighs "Ginji..." she kisses me suddenly, this takes me by surprise but I dont stop her.......I actually like it, so I kissed back with equal love. She pulls away smiling and I am able to get out what I wanted to say "I like you....." she blushes and says "I like you too" I was happy that she returned the feelings that I wasn't even sure she felt in return.

I had to ask her something "Does that make us.......boyfriend and girlfriend? Ive never had one or braved up to tell someone how I felt...." she smiled "If you want us to be"

"I want us to be if its ok with you......" I remembered Togami's words about her being a AI but shrugged it off like Makoto told me to, I thought to myself "shes here with me now thats good enough" she smiled in her regular way "It's perfectly fine with me" I thanked her with a hug.

She smiled brightly and told me "I'll make sure Kuzumi stays safe. That's my job, after all" I trusted her "Ok I trust you can Chiaki"  she eases my doubts "It's going to be okay, Ginji. We'll make it out. Alive." I had to return the reassurance to her as well "Ok, and ill make sure to find a way to save you all" she smiled brightly again "I know you will" the rest of the night we spent time talking, in some ways it was like we were on a date......and it was great.

That morning Kyoko notices my smile "You look well rested, Ginji" I smiled "Yeah i had a good dream"
