-Komaru P. O. V.-

After breakfast and the morning meeting, I found myself in my room.

"Looks like I've got some free time on my hands."

I thought to myself.

What do I want to do with my free time?

I decided to go look for someone to spend time with.

I walked out into the halls and took a walk.

Takaaki was walking around, patrolling the halls.

Hmm... Should I talk to Takaaki for a while?

I'll go see who else is around.

I kinda wanted to talk to Hiroko, but I couldn't find her anywhere.

I thought for a moment. Who would I want to hang out with and where would I find them?

"Hey Komaru!"

I turned around to see Yuta with two towels over his shoulder. "Hey Yuta! What's up?"

"I was gonna go to the gym and workout. You wanna join me? I could use a workout buddy."

Hmm... Should I hang out with Yuta for a while?

I'll spend some time with Yuta.

"Sure!" I said with a smile. "Let's go!"

He smiled back at me. "Great!"

Yuta and I headed to the gym. For a while, I watched him run laps around the gym. He was so fast. No wonder he's the Ultimate Track And Field Star.

When he was finished, he wiped his sweat off with one of the towels as we chatted on the bottom step of the bleachers.

Yuta and I grew a little closer today.

Do I want to give Yuta a present?

The only thing I have is that Rose In Vitro...

Not really, no.

Before my cheeks could turn pink, I pushed the thought out of my mind.

"So Komaru" Yuta suddenly started "There's uhh...  there's another part of my workout that I have to do, but... I-I don't think you want to see that part..." He scratched the back of his head, nervously.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Well, you know how I brought two towels?"

I nodded.

"Well... There's a special workout that Sis does, and she had me start doing it too. But, it's a little bit personal... I don't do it with Sis. She doesn't seem to care as much, but I do..."

I was a bit confused. "What do you mean?"

"Komaru, do you know what I'm talking about? What workout I'm going to do with the towel?"

Hmm... I think he's talking about...

"Are you talking about Kanpu masatsu?"

That cheered him up a bit. "Yeah, that's right! Though, Sis and I call it 'towel treatment' to make it easier to remember. Sis and I ALWAYS do the towel treatment after we work out, thought, we don't do it together. It's just a natural thing for us after our workouts, and not even in a situation like this can I ditch my habits. I gotta stay in shape. I'm on the track team after all!" Then he suddenly looked nervous again. "Do you... know... what towel treatment involves?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "No, not really. I know it involves a towel, but I don't know exactly what it entails."

He laughed awkwardly, his cheeks turning pink as he spoke. "Well... towel treatment is when you... strip naked... and rub a towel all over your body..."

My face turned red. "O-Oh..."

"So, I-I kinda need some privacy for it..."

I shook my head. "No, n-no. I-I don't mind...I'll just... close my eyes while you do it..."

His face went from pink to red. "Are you sure...? I mean... I'm not that comfortable doing it in front of other people... Not even Sis... I've... NEVER done it with someone else in the room before..."

I looked him in the eye. "Yuta... You can trust me. I won't peek. I'll even turn around if you want."

Then her shook his head. "No, you don't have to turn around. I... I trust you not to peek..."

I nodded firmly. "Okay." I closed my eyes and put my hands over them. "You can do it now..."

I heard Yuta get off the bleachers. He must be doing it now.

I just kept my eyes shut as tight as possible...

Not listening to a very tiny voice in my head telling me to peek...

-Yuta P. O. V.-

I quickly took my clothes off and put them in a small pile on the floor. I grabbed my towel and started rubbing myself down.

Even with her eyes closed and covered, I still didn't feel 100% comfortable with Komaru in the room while I was doing the towel treatment.

Every now and then, like about every few seconds, I'd glance over at Komaru to make sure she wasn't peeking. Though, I don't know why, whether it was the treatment or some deep dark part of me being awakened by this situation... But I couldn't help but stare at Komaru's... chest...

Agh! Yuta you idiot! Don't think about stuff like that! Komaru is a super cool and awesome girl! She'll think you're some scumbag if you do stuff like that. Ugh, why'd I do that? I don't like it when guys do that. Girls should be treated fairly by everyone and they deserve respect!

Sis thinks everyone matters. I think so too, but nobody deserves to be treated like nothing. I'll make sure everyone here is happy and okay! I'll work hard to protect my friends in this place!

Especially Komaru! She's... special.

-Komaru P. O. V.-

"Alright! You can look now!"

A quick peek through my fingers let me know that Yuta was clothed, so I moved my hands away from my face. "Wasn't so bad, was it?"

He thought for a moment. "I guess it wasn't too bad." He said. "If we ever do this again, I'll be more comfortable with you covering your eyes."

We shared a laugh. "Yeah, I guess you will. I really don't mind doing it."

He smiled. "Maybe someday I'll even get you to workout with me and we can take turns doing the towel treatment!"

I smiled back. "Yeah maybe. I'd love to work out with you!"

We shared another small laugh.

Suddenly I felt my handbook vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out just as Yuta puled out his. Apparently his handbook also vibrated. Instead of going straight to the menu, it displayed different text after my name disappeared.

Yuta's Report Card has been updated based on your experience with him. Your maximum number of Skill Points has increased! Hey, look at you go!

The text vanished and the menu showed up.

His report card? I checked his profile on the Report Card section of the handbook. There was his info. But, there was now an arrow at the bottom of the page. I tapped it and it brought me to a different page of his profile. There was some new stuff written.

I'm on the track team, so I always have to keep my body in the best shape I can! After each workout, we do a towel treatment, and not even a situation like this can change me! I get a bit shy doing it around others, though...

There was also a thing under all the text.

Strange. "Hey, Yuta. Did your handbook update with something?"

He nodded. "Yeah. My profile in the Report Card section updated with new information. According to the handbook, it said something like "Your Report Card has been updated based on Komaru's experience with you". And then something about me having more Skill Points. Do you know what the Skill Points are about?"

I shook my head. "Nope. No idea. Maybe we'll find out later? Or maybe we should ask someone else."

"Oh that reminds me! I wanted to ask if you wanted me to introduce you to everyone. Before you showed up, I talked to everyone, well except the animals, in the auditorium. You know their first names, but I thought that it would be nice if you had a formal introduction with everyone like I did. You know, as a way to get more comfortable."

I smiled. "I would love that. Let's go!"

We put our handbooks away and ran out of the gym, looking for someone else.
