Masquerade Ball
Dewott sighed and stopped cleaning the clothes to wipe her forehead. Monokuma and Monomi were assisting in their own ways; Monomi was dropping dirty clothes in the water and Monokuma kept pushing Monomi in. "Monokuma, stop pushing Monomi in please." Dewott said, smiling slightly. "But it's fun! Upupu~" Monokuma laughed. "It's not fun fow me!" Monomi whined.
Dewott picked up Monomi and put her in her apron pocket. The doorbell rang and Dewott looked up in confusion. She got up and dried her hands then headed upstairs, putting Monokuma in her apron pocket. She opened the door to be greeted by the mailman. He smiled and held out a letter to her. Dewott took the letter and thanked him, closing the door and looking at the writing on the envelope.
Dewott's eyes widened as she read the curvy lines on the piece of parchment inside the envelope. "The king is holding a masquerade ball to find the prince a bride..." Dewott said quietly. "You should go!" Monomi exclaimed. "Yeah, go find your prince!" Monokuma said, probably sarcastically but Dewott was too shocked to care. Suddenly the letter was snatched out of her hands and a stinging pain flared in her cheek.
"What do you think you're doing? You know better than this." Chris growled. "I-it was addressed t-to any women i-in the house..." Dewott said quietly. "M-may I go?" Chris looked down at the letter and smirked, looking back at her. "Fine, but only if you get all of your chores done today, plus I think the plants are dying." Chris turned to leave. "Oh yeah, you need to find a dress and mask too, as well as being back at 11 and not a second later." He said before disappearing upstairs.
Dewott felt excited and took the two out of her pockets. "Monokuma, Monomi, I need all the help I can get, do you think you can take care of the plants?" Dewott asked. Monomi nodded eagerly and Monokuma hesitated before agreeing, not wanting to upset her. Dewott brightened up and kissed the top of their heads. "Thank you!" Monomi smiled while Monokuma waved it off, blushing slightly whenever she did that.
Dewott got to work while Monokuma and Monomi went off to help. After a while they finished, with enough time to search quickly for a dress. Dewott immediately ran into her parents room, feeling a pang of sadness as she entered but pushed it aside as she looked in her mother's closet, finding a dress and a matching mask. She put on the dress and brushed her hair out, putting on the mask afterwards and looking in the mirror, smiling as Monokuma and Monomi complimented her.
(Dg22: I went a little overboard with this... Her dress:
And her mask:
Ok, I'll continue)
She hurried outside to the carriage, first thanking Monokuma and Monomi. She got in and waited until she arrived at the castle, marveling at its beauty. Dewott got out of the carriage and headed inside the castle, adjusting her mask before stepping into the ballroom. She caught the attention of many people but one in particular came up to her. He has messy brown hair with an ahoge, green eyes, a simple black tux with a white shirt underneath and a black bowtie, and a white mask.
He smiled at Dewott, holding out a hand to her. "May I have this dance?" Dewott smiled and nodded, taking his hand gently as he lead her to the dance floor. He turned to her and kept her hand, putting his other on her waist while pulling her closer gently. Dewott rested her other hand on his shoulder and swayed along with him. She looked up and noticed the golden circlet on his head and almost pulled away.
"You're Prince Makoto Naegi." Dewott breathed. Makoto laughed slightly. "Makoto is fine." He said, still smiling. Dewott nodded and smiled softly.

Peko stood near the door in Fuyuhiko's room as he finished buttoning his shirt. He glanced in the mirror at Peko and raised an eyebrow. "You should be getting ready, I don't need your help getting dressed." He said, working on his tie. "Of course Kuzuryuu." Peko said with a bow before leaving. Peko glanced back at him before closing the door. Even if she didn't want to attend as a normal girl she still had to dress up and wear the mask, but she needed her sword.
Peko went to her room and started to get ready, leaving her sword on her bed in the small room. She had decided to go as a normal girl without letting him know. She put on the dress then let her hair down, putting it into a single braid then pinning it up into a bun (kinda like Elsa). She put on her mask and checked herself out in the mirror.
(Dress...
Mask...
Ok I shall continue)
Peko waited before heading out, confirming no one was around as she headed to the ballroom. She walked in, ready to pretend to be surprised, but was actually surprised by the looks of the ballroom, having never seen it look so fancy or mysterious before, fitting the theme of the ball. Peko walked in and immediately spotted the prince, wearing a black suit over a white shirt with a black tie, and a black mask, his circlet still crooked on his head.
Fuyuhiko spotted her and seemed a little confused but mostly surprised as he excused himself from the blonde he was talking to, turning out to be his younger sister Natsumi. He walked over to Peko and looked up at her, arching an eyebrow as he scanned her face. "You look familiar..." He said, frowning slightly. "You must be mistaken..." Peko said, shifting her gaze to the ground so he couldn't see her eyes.
"Oh, I'm sorry then. Would you like to dance?" Fuyuhiko asked, holding out his hand. Peko had only seen him act like this when guests were around, otherwise he was careless and a bit rude. Peko took his hand with a small nod and blush. Fuyuhiko walked out onto the dance floor, grunting slightly as everyone seemed to think he was a kid. He finally got to the center with her and turned so he was facing her.
Fuyuhiko looked up at her, putting a hand on her waist, the other still holding her hand. Peko moved her hand to his shoulder, blushing slightly but glad the mask covered it. They danced together, Peko noticing he looked happier than she's ever seen him. Peko smiled slightly, enjoying the night while it lasted.
