Biotic Trial Site
Everyone had assembled before the crimson red door, and hardly anyone dared to speak. Cody couldn't help but glance around at his fellow classmates. A feeling of sorrow welled up in his chest, wishing to burst out and wet the tilted floor with his tears once more, but now was not the time for tears.
Each person that he laid eyes upon, he drew up every single thought about them that he could. What had they lost to this place already? What more did they have to lose?
Lyric Chambers, the Ultimate Musician. She was such a caring and timid soul, and gave her heart out so freely, and she had so much to lose.
Samantha Jackson, the Ultimate Mechanical Engineer. Her spirit never ceased to fill the room, but this cruel place had proceeded to dampen her spirit. It had broken her arm, and scared her. Mysteries hung around her that she couldn't tear away for fear of her life.
Marik Sizzami, the Ultimate Biographer. His relaxing presence couldn't even stand up against the despair wrought by this wicked place. And his attempts to help shield those more innocent souls among us have been mostly futile.
Lily Sonnet, the Ultimate Librarian. Her innocent nature is a beacon of joy in the bleakness of despair. Yet slowly it seems to be slipping away, and being replaced with a level of maturity that just doesn't suit her.
Corey Neon, the Ultimate Martial Artist. What has he truly lost? Besides his sense of personal space, due to Liam. He must have lost something, but what I'm not sure.
Alex Schwan, the Ultimate Dancer. When she's with Lyric she seems so relaxed and like herself, or himself I guess. But this recent attack has left him somewhat frazzled and jumpy.
Andrew Volt, the Ultimate Gamer. He's been a great friend since I've met him and been an anchor, yet even he seems to be slipping some. When we watched Lyric's motive it was like he was trying to hold on..
Genevieve Cross, the Ultimate Impersonator. Her presence is hard to ignore, because when she takes the stage, she takes the stage. Yet even her attempts to lift this suffocating fog have been futile. Her loud and joyous nature has been slowly diminishing like the rest of us.
Dylan Lance, the Ultimate Astronomer. His well built walls are slowly crumbling, or maybe that's just what I think. It's hard to tell with Dylan, and if his walls are crumbling, that might be a good thing for him. If the situation wasn't so dire that is.
Katlyn Web, the Ultimate Hacker. Slowly yet surly her icy facade is fading away, and being replaced with a subdued spirit that's reluctantly kind. A scarred self that no doubt has been there all along. It makes me question if she had anything more to lose than she already has. If she's even lost anything-as I'm just assuming things.
Caden Iridachu, the Ultimate Bodyguard. He could lose his sister, possibly the only family he has left, at any moment. But so far he seems to be keeping himself together-or maybe it's just his resolve to protect Jasmine? It's admirable even now.
Liam Hickman, the Ultimate Athlete. His love of rainbows haven't even gotten him through unscathed. It's clear that he won't give up however.
Emma Dawson, the Ultimate Cook. She owns the kitchen, and has managed to brighten everyone's day with her meals. But her kind nature is gaining a thin layer of constant annoyance...
Jasmine Iridachu, the Ultimate Florist. Her shy and fragile personality were certainly not meant for these kinds of situations, but she's holding it together surprisingly well thanks to her brother. Hopefully that safety net is not removed.

Dylan Lance was the first person to move.
He grasped the iron handles firmly.
For a moment he hesitated.
He gathered his resolve and overcame it.
Without any further ado he opened the doors.

The astronomer entered with his usual confidant stride, and stopped in the center of the new room. Dylan turned slightly with a somewhat impatient look on his face, "Are you coming or not?" He demanded sharply.
Everyone exchanged a few nervous glances while Dylan tapped his foot impatiently. Finally Andrew and Samantha took the lead and followed after Dylan, and everyone else followed after. The room was sparsely decorated, although it did hold a Monokuma poster...Great..
A noticeable clicking sound emitted from the loudspeakers as someone turned them on, and Monokuma's annoying voice projected across the school. "Head onto the elevator now, don't delay! Time is of the essence!" The yin and yang bear stated, before the loudspeaker turned off once more.
"We shouldn't linger then..." Genevieve commented in a resigned manner. Everyone silently agreed with her words as they moved towards the elevator and boarded it.
Cody found himself stepping into the metal box last. He couldn't help but shrink under everyone else's gaze as he boarded. Lily Belle weaved through the group to the buttons and pressed the down arrow.
There was no turning back now, Cody thought as the metal doors closed. The elevator ride was made in silence. They simply didn't know what to say, and admittedly Cody didn't either. Except Liam that is, Liam always had something to say. "Dang this is kinda fun!" The rainbow child exclaimed.
Fourteen heads turned to look at the back of the elevator, where Liam had managed to get onto the elevator rail, and balance by stretching out his arms to press against one side of the elevator, and his feet against the other. "Seriously?" Corey asked dully after a moment of dumbfounded silence.
He pouted, "Just because times are bad doesn't mean I have to be all somber." Liam stated, although he did carefully get down from his precarious position.
"You know-he's right." Andrew commented after a small moment of silence. "We're in a bad situation sure, but do you know what our worst enemy is?"
'Enemy? Our worst enemy is Monokuma, right?' Cody thought to himself. "Our worst enemies are ourselves. We will kill eachother, and it's only a matter of who will win and who will lose." Dylan stated irritably. He couldn't tell if he was grumbling or not to be honest.
He had a feeling that that wasn't what Andrew was trying to say, and sure enough he was proven correct. "No-our worst enemy is doubt and despair. What makes us think that our only option is to kill? The fear and despair that we're falling into. We can learn from this, and make sure it doesn't happen again." Andrew explained, and looked to Cody for support.
The Ultimate Counselor cracked a faint smile. Andrew had yet to cease surprising him it seemed. "He's right. By letting ourselves drown in this we're allowing our anxiety levels to rise, and even become paranoid. It's not healthy-"
"Spare us the details about how it's not good for our mental health will ya?" Katlyn gripped from her position against the wall.
Cody chuckled nervously and sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. He hasn't meant to get all psychological or whatnot. "Um..Guys? The elevator stopped.." Alex pointed out from beside Emma.
Everyone exited the elevator and took a moment to get acquainted with their new surroundings. They'd stepped into what appeared to be a calm grove. Underfoot lush green grass grew and the fresh fragrances of flowers washed over them in waves.
Monokuma had to stir them out of their daze, and brought their attention to him in the process. They saw that he was resting on a throne carved out of stone and behind him a small waterfall fell into a stream that almost ran along the entire circular room. The students moved to their podium's which seemed to be made out of ancient yet resilient wood. They were provided seats which were more like trees that had been strategically planted behind each podium. The trees had been carved so that you could sit down upon them, and a comfy cushion was even placed down for comfort. The trees still rose majestically into the air and sported their different leaves. It appeared that each podium had their names engraved on them from further inspection along with each students favorite flower growing out of it.
Cody made his was over the his podium and looked up at the majestic Mwerebi tree that had been carved into his chair when he realized something.
This realization brought along a fresh wave of anger with it, "Wasn't loosing Joshua enough!?" He demanded as he raised his voice. His heterochemic eyes fixated on the plush bear.
"Whatever do you mean Cody? It will never be enough until you bastards are all drowning in despair! No even then it won't be enough, because I will always want more and more despair from you all!" Monokuma cackled.
The navy haired teenager shook his head as his hands curled into fists, "I'm talking about this trial area, you did this because of Joshua! He was the Ultimate Biologist, he studied life. You made this area because of that-as some sick joke didn't you!?" Cody specified with a carefully reigned in temper. You didn't have to be able to read body language to understand that he was livid.
As if his words had brought a lost thought back to mind Monokuma perked up with a quick 'hmmmm.' "Well you've got me their, but don't you want to honor your friend? I thought that this would be the perfect way to do so!" He explained gleefully. He was clearly enjoying Cody's reaction.
The rest of the student body remained quiet during Cody's outburst, and the counselor wasn't planning on backing down until Andrew rested a hand on his shoulder and managed to talk him down. Even then it took an effort, and Lyric even had to get involved.
They all made it to their podiums, and the time had finally arrived. The time to decide who was the blackened once and for all!
(This was taking me forever to write because I'm lazy, so I just decided to split it up a little. Might as well not have all of the actual facts in this one, because that one is going to take me forever XD.)
I'm just curious but who is ya'll favorite character?
