Shuichi Saihara (Shuichi x Kiibo)

Updates might be incredibly slower, as at the moment I'm focusing a lot more on my other book (Which I think I've already said before), but I'm kinda out of ideas for it, so it slows this process down a lot more. This book is more of a hobby for me to write, but my other book is my main priority. However, I still will take requests, it just might take me a lot longer to write, like a week or two, instead of just a couple of days. Hope this is all alright for you all. Anyway, moving on.

I love writing sick!Shuichi and this was requested by UltimateStrawberry Who asked for: Umm.. Can you do a Kiibo x Shuichi? Make Shuichi sick and a Nurse Kiibo? //insert Ouma interacting

It didn't really work out like that. But it's been days since this has been requested and I have another request I promised I was working on (still havent. fuck) and everything kinda toppling over so it's the best I can do. If you want a rewrite then please message me and once things have smoothed out I'll look into rewriting it. I'm so sorry.

Anyway! Enjoy! Hope you like it UltimateStrawberry, and the rest of you!

Kiibo looked around, confused. Whilst he was usually the earliest to the cafeteria out of his classmates (seeing as he had no need for sleep, he would usually arrive early), it still shocked him at how long it took the rest of his classmates to file in.

After him, of course, was Kirumi. Acting as the mother of their group, she would always arrive promptly, beginning breakfast. He'd sometimes start a conversation with her, but he usually knew Kirumi had a busy schedule despite the games going on, and nevertheless usually dropped it after a couple of minutes.

After Kirumi, Korekiyo would usually arrive. Kiibo wouldn't say he was friends with Kiyo, far from it, but he still would hold a conversation with Kiyo. After Kiyo was usually Rantaro or Angie, sometimes both at the same time, and he wouldn't really talk to them either. He had more success with Rantaro than Angie, admittedly, but he still wouldn't hold a conversation with either of them.

After the three of them, Shuichi would normally arrive. However, today was a bit different. It gave Kiibo an unsettled feeling, the order of his classmates being muddled up, but nonetheless, he continued with his day.

Kokichi would arrive immediately after Shuichi, almost coincidentally, and begin pestering him. However, seeing as Shuichi wasn't present (which, had saddened Kokichi as well as himself), Kokichi began pestering Kiibo.

"Kiiboy~" He whined. Kiibo sighed, turning his head.

"What, Ouma." He sighed. Kokichi looked up at him with a devilish smirk. If Kiibo had proper eyes, he probably would've rolled them.

"Do robots have dicks?" He cackled. Kiibo glared at him, shaking his head.

"Leave the virgin alone, you fucking failed abortion!" Miu shouted. Kiibo turned around. Whilst he was dealing with Kokichi, Miu, Kaede and Ryouma had all entered the cafeteria. Kaede smiled at him, offering a hello before talking to Rantaro. Miu sat next to him, rambling on about upgrades she'd add, and different features she'd incorporate into him. He nodded, but he couldn't really focus on what she was saying. He had some sort of unsettled feeling in what would be his stomach. Maybe he was malfunctioning. He could perhaps talk to Miu about that.

Soon afterwards, Tsumugi, Himiko and Tenko all arrived, Gonta following after them hurriedly.

"Gonta so sorry he late!" He shouted. Kiibo smiled at him.

"You're not late Gonta. Your not even the last ones here." Kiibo said. Gonta smiled in relief, sitting next to Kokichi. Tsumugi giggled at Gonta, shaking her head. Tenko pulled Himiko near to Angie, sitting the magician down, talking rapidly to her. Kiibo sighed.

The only people who so far hadn't arrived were Kaito, Maki, and of course, Shuichi. Whilst he wasn't so surprised about Maki's disappearance (she usually refused to turn up for breakfast, as Kokichi was particularly aggravating in the morning, in her words), however Kaito and Shuichi not turning up alarmed him a little. Sure, they could look after themselves, and Kaito would usually stroll in not caring what time it was, but Shuichi was punctual, to a point where it'd annoy the average person.

After a couple of minutes, Kirumi entered the room, carrying some plates of food. She settled them down on the table, most people grabbing quite a lot to fill their plates. He looked away, sighing. He wasn't entirely sure why he turned up to breakfast, seeing as he had no way to eat. It'd be disrespectful if he didn't turn up, he reminded himself.

Finally, the last of his classmates rolled in, Kaito holding onto Shuichi's arm as Maki muttered about something. She seemed quite annoyed, but the other two seemed to be ignoring her. Maybe it was their ignorance that was annoying her?

"Y'know, you get executed if you aren't arriving on time! Three strikes and your out!" Kokichi shouted, teasing them. Maki rolled her eyes.

"Do you wanna die?" Maki offered, glaring at the supreme leader.

"Whilst Ouma might have put it in a bad sense, punctuality is key in these situations. Imagine if someone had been sent off, and the three of you weren't around when the body was discovered. It'd be incredibly suspicious, and we are only looking out for you." Kirumi lectured.

"Not my fault." Maki muttered, sitting next to Kaede. Kaito, once again, pulled Shuichi along, shoving him into the seat next to Kiibo. Kiibo smiled, offering the detective a hello, which was met by silence, before Kaito's booming voice filled the room.

"Sorry for our late appearance!" He shouted. "Not that it should matter. Anything important discussed?"

Most people shook their head at the astronaut, others ignoring him completely to eat. Kiibo smiled at him, though. He pulled out some object onto the table.

"Monokuma suggested to take another look around the school, see if these open up any new places." Kiibo explained. Kaito looked at him, taking the supplies and gazing at them.

"Nothing fucking interesting about them, the fuck's the point?!" Miu shouted.

"It'd probably be best to investigate as soon as we are all finished." Korekiyo contributed.

"Are you as insane as you look?" Tenko shouted. "Tenko refuses to give in to this motive!"

"But what if it'll help us find a way out?" Kaede suggested. Most people murmured to their friends about this. Kiibo stayed silent, watching the commotion go on. Kaito decided to speak up for the rest of their classmates.

"We have no other choice! We have to do this! C'mon, where's your spirit?!" He shouted. "We need to find a way out, and this might be the only way."

"But surely it's a motive, so it's just giving us false hope?"

Shuichi's response was quiet, which worried Kiibo a little. Whilst he wasn't the most vocal of his classmates, and whilst he did struggle with his overall shyness and anxiety, he still made sure to make himself heard. It was a good thing though, seeing as he was undoubtedly the smartest out of them all (maybe excluding Kirumi, and perhaps at a push Korekiyo), so most people made sure to listen to him anyway.

"I agree with Shuichi. This could just be one of Monokuma's plans." Kiibo commented.

"I totally~ agree! Saihara-chan is so smart!" Kokichi shouted, jumping up and clinging onto Shuichi. Kiibo's eyes glared into Kokichi's back, but nevertheless didn't say anything to the male.

"So, it is agreed, that once we have all finished, we are to go explore around?" Korekiyo confirmed. The rest of the classmates nodded. Kiibo sighed, shaking his head, but nonetheless went along with his classmates's decision.

"We should explore around in groups." Tsumugi suggested.

"I dibs Kiiboy and Saihara-can!" Kokichi shouted, clinging onto both the robot and detective. Most of their classmates ignored him, however Kiibo did have some interjections.

"May I ask why?" He asked the supreme leader. "You won't add anything to Shuichi or my own investigation."

"And~?" He asked.

"Fine." Shuichi muttered, yet didn't make any efforts to eat any of the food Kirumi prepared. He sat back in his chair, staying silent. He pulled the brim of his hat down, to cover his eyes. Whilst he had been seen wearing the hat on the first days of the games, he had taken it off, to symbolise trust within in classmates. Kiibo, whilst he wouldn't publically admit it, loved Shuichi without his hat. Shuichi's eyes were a pretty, and he loved Shuichi's blue hair, no matter what the boy thought of it himself.

Seeing as he had no reason to eat, Kiibo stood up, his chair scraping back on the floor. Kokichi had finished long ago, seeing how the male was so small and his body didn't need much to feed on his energetic behaviour, and Shuichi made no effort to even attempt at eating, so Kiibo decided that their investigation should start quickly. The quicker they start, the quicker they end. Not that he wanted his time to end with Shuichi, it more of the prankster he wished he didn't have to accompany on something so important.

"We should get going." He muttered. Kokichi giggled, grabbing onto the arm of the robot, waiting for the detective to depart. Shuichi sighed, standing up, walking silently over to the two. Kiibo put a small smile of his face for the sake of the shy detective, and took both Kokichi and Shuichi by the arms, walking out of the room.

Kiibo hadn't noticed anything wrong with either boys. However, it would've been rather difficult to notice something wrong with Kokichi with all the lies he told. Whilst Shuichi was quieter than usual, it wasn't anything alarming. Neither was the coughs that spluttered out of his chest. It was only human to cough after all, right? It didn't bother Kokichi, so it wouldn't bother Kiibo.

As they were searching the courtyard, Kokichi had disappeared. It didn't bother Kiibo whatsoever. If anything, he was glad the supreme leader had left. His departure had meant that Kiibo had time to spend with admittedly his favourite classmate (maybe after Miu, seeing with how much work she put in to improving him).

Kiibo stopped in his track as they were walking across the grass. Shuichi turned around, facing the robot in confusion. Before Kiibo could say anything, Shuichi began coughing again. Kiibo's eyes narrowed in on the detective, confused. He knew coughing was a human feature, and it was all natural, but was coughing to this extent natural?

To top things off, however, Kokichi had decided to return. The devilish smirk had stayed planted on his face as he ran up to them. Before the robot could warn the detective, Kokichi had already jumped onto the detectives back, smiling and laughing. However, from the shock and sudden weight onto his back, Shuichi was sent toppling over, landing face-first onto the ground, Kokichi landing on his back, as imagined.

Kiibo gasped, running over to the detective and supreme leader. Kokichi looked confused, but stood up from the detectives back. Any other time he'd jump onto the detective, he'd have responded by making sure he didn't fall. Kiibo instantly reached a hand down to the detective, helping the poor boy up. Shuichi looked away, desperately trying to pull down his hat, which had also fallen off due to the commotion.

Now that Kiibo could see his face, he wasn't so sure if the detective was alright anymore. His complexion was incredibly pale, paler than usual, and his eyes had some sort of glassy eyes. Not only that, but he did have a small bead of sweat running down his forehead. Kiibo shook his head. Whilst he knew the detective wanted to be as useful as he could, it shouldn't have been at a risk of his own health.

"Ouma, go find someone else to annoy." Kiibo muttered, shaking his head. Kokichi had picked up Shuichi's hat, and had placed it back on the detectives head, after of course ruffling his hair a little. Shuichi still remained silent, embarrassed over the ordeal, despite not being his fault.

"Why~?"~ Kokichi whined. "I'm having fun~"

"Shuichi and I clearly aren't. If you had any decency in you Ouma you'd listen to me and... and fuck off." Kiibo spat. Shuichi looked shocked at his wording, as did Kokichi. However, Kokichi nodded.

"I-I didn't mean it Ouma-"

"No, no!" Kokichi smiled. "I know what you mean. I may look like an asshole, but I have a heart deep down. Someone. More than that fucking slutty bitch."

Kokichi chuckled to himself. Kiibo went to argue back, before Kokichi continued what he was saying.

"Get better soon, Saihara-chan! I'll keep everyone out of your path so you can make a speedy-weedy recovery!"

"T-Thanks Ouma." He mumbled, fiddling with his sleeves, his fazed fixed onto the ground. Kiibo smiled. He took the detective by the arm, watching as Kokichi winked at him before bidding the leader one last goodbye before leading the detective back to his dorm.

After they had entered the detective's dorm, Kiibo watched as the detective practically collapsed onto his bed. Kiibo smiled fondly, but turned away, making sure the detective didn't notice him. He made his way to Shuichi's bathroom, wetting a cloth that had been laying around before returning to Shuichi's main room. Shuichi looked up at him, confused.

"In case you have a fever." Kiibo explained. Shuichi shook his head.

"Just a cough. And tired." He mumbled, yawning soon afterwards. Had the circumstances been different, he would've awed at the detective, seeing as he was like kitten. Alas, he didn't, and just continued to feel for some sort of fever on Shuichi's forehead through his hand sensors.

"39 degrees, Shuichi." He sighed, shaking his head. He placed the cloth on Shuichi's head, and eased the detective down onto the bed. Kiibo shook his head, insisting the detective had it on his head. He had placed Shuichi's hat to the side, and whilst he knew Shuichi might've still been uncomfortable without it, it was to help speed up his recovery. Or at least, that's what Kiibo would tell himself.

Shuichi whined. Kiibo almost stepped backwards, shocked at the action from the blue-haired boy. He shook his head, attempting to ignore the noise he had previously made. He had to be professional about this. His friend was ill, and he had to make him better.

Kiibo sat on the edge of Shuichi bed, threading his fingers through Shuichi's hair. Kiibo himself thought it would've been uncomfortable to have metals scraping across your head, but it seemed to relax Shuichi a lot, so he continued to untangle Shuichi's hair.

"You really should rest, Shuichi." Kiibo murmured.

Shuichi whined once again, attempting to pull Kiibo down next to him. Kiibo's eyes widened, and instead of letting Shuichi pulling him down onto the bed and perhaps injuring himself, Kiibo hesitantly laid down next to Shuichi, resting on his back. Shuichi let out a small giggle before he start coughing. Kiibo immediately sat up, but Shuichi shook his head. Kiibo laid back down wearily, and Shuichi crawled over to him, resting his head on Kiibo's chest. Kiibo sighed, picking up the cloth and placing it back on the detective's forehead. As he was crawling over to the robot, it had fallen off, and he made no move to put it back on.

Shuichi smiled up at the robot. Kiibo tilted his head, confused at the sudden happiness. Shuichi leaned up, unsteadily resting on his elbows and kissed Kiibo's cheek. Kiibo instantly felt his cheeks flame up, and Shuichi giggled again, but rested back on Kiibo's chest.

"Love you Kiibo" He whispered, giggling once more before closing his eyes. Kiibo knew that he wasn't asleep, seeing as he was breathing far too quickly to be asleep. He lent down to the detective, kissing his forehead. Shuichi's eyes opened again, and he looked up at the detective.

"I love you to, Shuichi." He replied, smiling. Shuichi smiled, nodding, and closing his eyes once more. He blindly grabbed for Kiibo's free hand, which he gave to the blue-haired boy quite easily, before Shuichi finally fell asleep. Kiibo smiled fondly down at the boy, his fingers slowing down in Shuichi's hair before he himself fell asleep. Even though he didn't necessarily need sleep to function, it was nice to sometimes feel as human as possible.

And in the morning, when Kiibo awoke before Shuichi, he shook his head at the gift left behind by the obvious trickster.

"Get better soon Sahaira-chan! Don't have too much fun with Kiibo, but if you do, I've left the presents in the bag. ;)"

Kiibo was going to kill the supreme leader one day or another. However, not with the detective resting peacefully in his arms. Kokichi could wait, all that mattered to him was Shuichi, no matter what state he was in.
