I yawned slightly.

Mornin'.

Yo, what the heck was with that dream?

I dunno.  You're asking me when you are me.

I sighed and rolled my eyes, floating lazily into the kitchen.

What?  Floating is fun!

I grabbed some pancakes and bacon and orange juice and went back to the Grand Hall.

You know, I'm kinda worried about my friends....  They haven't called back in for a while....

Maybe they're busy?

Or in trouble.

I prefer Becky's thought....

I sat down at the table and started eating.

I do wonder how they are, though....  It sucks I can't contact them....

Well, last we heard, they seemed to have gained Candid's trust...somewhat.

Somewhat.  That's not very helpful there, Rebekitah....

I sighed and kept eating.

' Becca? '

I froze.

Ki-----

' Becca? Ya there? '

Uhh....

I heard a bit of barking then.

Still couldn't understand it....

' Yo, Becca, can you hear us? '

Uhh...yes?

' Yes!  Thank God I could reach you! '  ' Yes!  We've got contact! '  ' Yay!  Hi, Becca! '  Happy barking.

Woah, woah, woah!  Hold up!  Please stop talking all at once!

Silence.

I heard vague mutters but didn't really catch any of it.

Can you guys please talk one at a time?

' We got separated! '  ' We don't know where the others are! '  A whimper.  ' Uh, I can't hear any of the others.... '

Ok, ok, woah, geez, I'm guessing you guys are separated!  Don't answer that, I heard someone say that.  Ok, you guys can't hear each other.  Great.  Lemme do a role call so I can confirm who's here.  ilbarker, you here?

' Yup!  Hi! '

I giggled.  Ok, ilbarker's here.  Kit?

' Eyo!  Wazzup?  Known's with me, too! '

Ok, Known and Kit are accounted for.  So they're together.  Object?

' Hey!  I'm with Cassia! '

' Hi, Becca! '

Object and Cassia are together.  Uhh...I heard barking, so spark's here.  Aura?

...Silence.

Aura?

spark whimpered.

Uhh...lez just set this up real quick.  spark, bark once for no and twice for yes, k?

She barked twice.

Nice.  Ok, is Aura with you?

She barked twice, but it was slow.

Why isn't she connected with me?  Is she ok?

She barked once.

Aura isn't ok?  What's wrong?  Is she hurt?!

I stood up quickly, though they obviously couldn't see me.  Fear filled my mind.

spark...is she...is she...dead...?

She barked twice very slowly then whimpered.

Oh my God...Aura's...dead...?

' WHAT?! '

' OhmyGod ohmyGod ohmyGod.... '

' Scheisse.... '

' Well, frick.  That'ssssss not good at all....  Oh God.... '

spark, are you in any sort of position that you can bring her back to the castle?

She whimpered slightly and quietly barked once.

Scheisse indeed, ilbarker....  Crap....

I started pacing the Grand Hall.  Lemme just start with this since you all are clearly in distress of some sort.  ilbarker, what's going on?

' We fought Herobrine and lost horribly, so he separated us.  I landed in a forest nearly dead.  Jerome found me and...uh...healed...me....  He then told me his situation and now I'm in his house in a bacca village.  Mitch and Kirby are imprisoned and under heavy guard here because of being human and...uh...puffball?  I just need help in knowing how to deal with the baccas so they don't murder me or anyone else. '

I'm guessing because you had wings that they didn't quite consider you human....  How much do they trust you?

' Not really sure....  I did some acting in showing pure hatred towards humans and the doc bac seemed to believe it.  Jerome even said he would've believed it if he hadn't known I was acting! '

I snickered.  Doc bac?  Seriously?

' Don't judge, I was panicking!  You know how I am when it comes to doctors! '

I know, I know.  What you're doing so far is good.  Keep the act up.  Baccas seem to connect with people who hate humans like they do much faster.  If you can, find some way to go see Mitch and Kirby.  Oh, and can you let me know if Kirby is ok?  Please?

' Will do! '

Good.  Stay connected.  I wanna see if we can get an idea of how to bring you guys back together.  Kit?  Known?  What's up with you guys?

' I'ma go ahead and guess that ilbarker already told you how we got separated.  But...uhh...it's also kinda my fault.... '

Known groaned.  ' Kit, stop, we went over this.... '

' Don't worry about it. '

' Sorry....  Anyways, we apparently landed near Sub's location and he found us and took us in, helping us heal.  We're still relatively beat up, but we're getting better.  Ashley definitely got the bulk of the damage, though.... '

Ashley?

' I think it's someone from your The Day series.  That's my only guess.  Anyways, we're not in any trouble.  Everything where we are is good.  No one's in trouble.  Sub and his wife are cool with letting us stay as long as we need to, but honestly, the moment we can fly, I want us to go help the others. '

So...Sub....  Ok....  Object?

' Err...things could've gone better where we are.... MUCH better.... Me and Cassia landed in a forest. I was relatively ok, 'cept I had to drink one of my potions that fully healed me up. My leg was broken. Cassia...was pretty hurt. I saw a city and went to go check it out and look for help, but the moment people saw me, they started freaking out, calling me a murderer. I was so confused. These police came and I was running out of there, getting shot in the arm by an arrow, but still pretty ok. I tried losing them and got back to Cassia, but I guess they kept on my tail better than I thought. They knocked us and next thing I knew, we're chained to chairs in a freaky interrogation room. Quentin came in saying that he had escaped us or something. Long story short there, we were able to convince him, somewhat, to let us show we weren't bad. They knocked us out again and then we're next to the forest. Still in chains. They were really paranoid about us. Apparently, we've killed 30-something people. Anyways, we walked and walked and then got to the campsite where...we were staying, apparently. Some men went to check stuff out and the next thing we knew, they were all murdered by evil clones of me and Cassia. Like, detail for detail. They said something about Lord Herobrine gave them a mission to get us falsely accused and killed. Then...they let us go. Now, me, Cassia, and Quentin are in Quentin's apartment. '

I laughed.  Dang, and I thought I talked a lot!

' Sorry!  We just need help in figuring out how to get rid of the clones terrorizing Flora City.  Uh, that's the city we're in right now, by the way. '

Clones of Herobrine, huh...?  Hmm...how long have they been terrorizing the city?

' About a week, which confused me because it couldn't have been more than a few days since we left.... '

Pretty sure it was only a few days ago....

' It took a week for me to heal, though!  A week's passed where I am! '

ilbarker said a week has passed where she is.

' It's only been a day here.... '

Kit says it's only been a day where she is.  Huh.  That's really weird.  Anyways, Object, my guess is that Herobrine basically copied you and Cassia exactly with memories and stuff at that time.  That means that they only know everything prior to your separation from the others.  Try to find some way that they wouldn't know of of defeating them.

' Good idea.... '

And now spark....  Hmm....  Ok, same system as before.  Let's see...time to play Guess Who but actually Guess Where....  Are you on land?

She barked once.

No?!  Really?!  Cool, that knocks out a majority of places!  So, you're in the ocean?

She barked twice.

Are you on a ship?

Two barks.

Is it...a good ship?

She whimpered and barked once.

Oh great.  Lemme guess.  They're the ones who killed her.  The people who own the ship you're on.

She growled and barked twice.

I giggled.  Oh MAN they are gonna regret crossing you....  Are there good people on the ship with you?

Two barks, though they sounded unsure.

I'ma assume you're in a cell.

Two barks.

Do you...know where Aura's body is?

Two barks.

Uhh...is she in the cell with you?

Two whimpering barks.

Ok, back to the good people.  Are they in cells like you?

Two barks.

I pondered all the information I've been given.

ilbarker is with Jerome and technically Mitch in a way.

Kit and Known...and Ashley are with Sub.

Object and Cassia are with Quentin.

Wait....

The survivors of DRM...F 1 were Jerome, Mitch, Sub, Sky, Quentin, and....

Is...Barney perhaps with you?

Two happy barks.

So...you all got separated out to the survivors of the first book.  I'ma guess again that Skybrine is out and about in the Budder Kingdom.

' You'd be right.  Man, you are on PAR with these guesses today! '

I laughed.  I guess it's intuition.  Kit, your idea from earlier.  You, Known, and Ashley splitting to help the others.  That could work.  Kit, I think you should go find ilbarker.  You'll be looking for a bacca village.  They tend to be in between jungle and forest biomes, so you could start there once you're healed.  Known, I think spark'll need you with these...pirates.  Can your light seek out people?

' The ones close to me, yeah.  I'm not as familiar with spark, but I could track her down within a couple days after my recovery. '

Cool.  Tell Ashley that she should go help Object and Cassia in Flora City with the clones once she's healed.  spark...keep Aura's body safe and as undamaged as possible.  I may be able to bring her back if you can get her in the castle.

' Wait, didn't it take that relic to bring me back?  How would you bring Aura back to life without one? '

I didn't have authorial powers then.  I do...somewhat...now.  With some time, I could bring her back.  But only if she's here.

Ok.  Lemme get all this info straight to you guys.  Kit is going to go find ilbarker once she's healed up enough.  Known is going to locate spark's position and help over there.  Ashley should go help Object and Cassia in Flora City with the clones.  spark will keep Aura's body safe in the meantime.  Don't let those buttholes hurt her body, ok?

She growled lowly and barked twice quietly.

Good....  You all stay safe, ok?  I don't want any more casualties.

' Gotcha, girl! '

ilbarker disconnected.

' We'll try our bestest not to die! '

' You sssssstay ssssssafe in the meantime, too, k? '

Object and Cassia disconnected.

spark whimpered and barked twice before disconnecting.

' You be careful, too.  Don't want Herobrine coming and killing you off.  Uhh...he doesn't know about you, right? '

He does.  He just doesn't kill me because killing me would make this dimension fade out of existence, himself and the world he wants to rule included.  I'll be fine.

' You better stay alive! '

Kit and Known disconnected.

...Silence.

Dang, never thought I'd hear silence so soon.  Your friends talk too much.

Quiet, Becky.  Don't be rude.  They haven't exactly spoken to her for a while.  They're gonna have a bunch to say.

I rolled my eyes, picking up my half-empty plate and going to the kitchen to clean up.  You guys....  Yeesh.

I stretched and yawned again.  Well...how about some Pikmin 2?

Ohhh!  Yas!  I love that game!

Ehh...it's ok....

Admit it, Becky, you like it, too~

I guess....

I giggled and floated towards the game room.

I just hope...they'll make it through ok....
