Finn messed with flowers in his hand, after being hyped up by his two best friends – Poppy and Boxten; to finally ask his crush out, he was confident!

But then a wave of nervousness hit him, his brain soon removed all of the hype Boxten and Poppy had given him, this wasn't a good idea. It wasn't gonna end well.

It was better to get it over with though.

He knocked on her door, backing up and gasping as his heart started to beat faster; it felt like there was a stone in his throat – preventing him from speaking.

"Finn? What are you doing here."

Vee. She had opened the door without Finn noticing somehow – her tone was cold; clearly not happy with seeing Finn at her doorstep.

He quickly handed her the flowers and stared at the floor; prepared for the harsh criticism.

"Finn.." Vee threw the flowers at his feet as her face twisted into a pissed one, she clutched her hands together and glared at him.

"Look at me." She angrily muttered, stepping closer as Finn gulp.

He looked up to meet her cold gaze, he wanted to run away; why did he even try this?

"You need to get this in your head. We won't ever be together. Electricity and Water DO NOT MIX. I've told you this before. Goodnight." She did not allow him to speak, shutting the door on his face – leaving him in the cold.

He held back tears as he turned away, "This was a bad idea.."
