"Okay, Glisten is on this floor! Finn, you'll babysit while me and Brightney will extract. Goob,.. well it's Rodger– so you don't have to do anything." Vee ordered around her teammates as the doors shut behind them, they all nodded and went to their respective areas.

"Where could he be?" Finn muttered under his breath before seeing a trail of black footprints; Finn smirked and followed, soon hearing the sobs of the cracked mirror.

His eyes wandered around before landing on his target. He smiled and walked over, grabbing the twisted's hand and standing next to him with a grin.

Almost immediately he was scooped up into a hug, his water spilling out the side a bit. "Hello Glisten!" Finn hugged back – he tried to pull away but to no avail. "I-.. I'm so glad you're here Finley!" Glisten spun around a bit which resulted in a lot of Finn's water spilling out.

"Woah woah! Clam it down, friend!" Glisten stopped and giggled, placing Finn neatly on the ground while his eyes stayed on him. "Let's talk and talk for a bit, it'll help!" Finn grabbed Glisten's hand and began to drag him further away from the elevator.

"How have you been, Finn?" Glisten squeezed his hand, Finn looked up at him and sighed. "It's been going well, Shrimpo has been trying to break me with a hammer though." Glisten furrowed his eyebrows at this and squeezed their hands together tighter.

"Ah! ah– Glisten you're hurting me!" Finn didn't try to pull away and yet Glisten backed up, his eye now shocked and afraid. "Wait, wait! I didn't mean too!' Glisten leaned down and began to apologize furiously, making Finn giggle nervously.

"It's no big deal–"

The elevator doors opened, silence struck between the two. Glisten stood up and listened as the rest of the toons ran towards the elevator, his eyes now darting towards Finn frantically. "Y-you won't leave me?! Right?!" Glisten held his face and kneeled down – eventually to where he was on his knees. Finn could tell time was running out, either he could book it for the elevator or stay with Glisten.

"Finn?!" "Where is he?!" Vee and Goob called out to him, normally they would've ran out for him but the timer was cutting close.

"Of course not. Come here." Glisten looked up and was met with the sight of Finn holding out his arms for him; he leaped forward and brought him into a light and caring hug.

Finn closed his eyes tightly as he heard the elevator door close.

"I'm so glad you stayed with me.." Glisten muttered into Finn's shoulder, Finn responded by rubbing circles on his back, a small smile forming on his face.

"Let's go sit on the beanbags, the floor is cold."

"O-okay."
