Pebble and Flutter Angst.

Not a ship.

It's hard knowing something and not being able to tell anyone, let's see how these two figure it out together.

Dandy crumbled up another piece of paper, stomping on it as he angrily muttered words under his breath.

"It doesn't make any sense! Why.. WHY ISN'T IT WORKING?!" He gripped onto his petals, tearing them slightly as he spun around.

"IT NEEDS TO BE PERFECT. IM SO CLOSE, I CAN'T LOSE IT NOW!" He scrambled towards his desk, throwing multiple bottles of Ichor behind him while gritting her teeth with a scowl.

"Bworf..?"

He tensed up and looked down, his beloved pet dog, Pebble, was there; a sad expression glued onto his face.

He rubbed his face against Dandy's leg, slightly shaking his tail. Dandy's eyes softened as he picked him up, he held him like a baby – slightly rocking him back and forth.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine. I'm just.. stressed." Dandy walked towards his door, which was slightly cracked open. "Woof.." Pebble buried his face into Dandy's shoulder, his tail no longer wagging as he dug his small paws into Dandy's arm.

"It'll be okay pebs, here, go play with flutter for now." He set him down in the hallway, pointing towards flutter who looked at them both with a saddening expression – seemingly had heard Dandy's little meltdown.

He stared at Pebble with a frown before closing the door, Flutter flew over to Pebble; crouching down as her eyelids lowered.

They both knew of Dandy's condition and what he was doing but neither one of them could tell.

They wanted Dandy to get help but they couldn't, after all..

Pebble was just a dog and Flutter couldn't speak.

What more could they do?

They both had tried their hardest to tell but nobody would ever believe them; not even Rodger, someone that loves mysteries!

It was over. It was over for Dandy.

Pebble sat on the floor, his gaze looking at his paws.

Flutter sat down next to him, sharing the same expression.

They couldn't do anything.

It was over.
