Finn stared at the shelves upon shelves of books; she was only here for one thing though..

She headed into the nonfiction isle, and looked towards the wildlife section. She quickly flipped through the books and grinned brightly as her eyes examined the cover.

She went to grab it but it was taken right in front of her eyes; she frowned and looked to see who had taken it – only to be met with Vee's cold gaze.

"WAH–" Finn backed up, holding her head so no water would spill out, after the countless warnings of being too close to Vee; she didn't want to risk it.

Her eyes wandered towards the book in Vee's hand, she thought about snatching it from Vee but yet again she didn't want to risk the chance of any water getting on her.

"Can.. can I have my book back please?" Finn fixed her posture, smiling sweetly at Vee – Vee only stared before clutching onto the book harder; making Finn flinch a bit.

On the outside Vee looked like a stern force; nothing could get in and nothing could get out. But at the moment.. Vee was mentally panicking, her and Brightney had a conversation about dating; Vee's small crush on Finn was brought up – yada yada, in short. Brightney told her to go for it.. so here she was.

This was her pathetic way of flirting? She didn't really understand the concept of relationships.

She slowly handed Finn the book; who carefully took it with a small smile on her face.

"Thanks, Vee." Finn turned away, making Vee panic and grab her arm.

Finn flinched at the sudden touch and stared at Vee questioningly; "Vee?" Finn's voice was sweet and low – music to Vee's nonexistent ears.

"I was wondering.. if you'd like to go out sometime?" Vee looked off to the side, her grip on Finn becoming less tight as her nerves started to work.

"Y.. you'd want to hang out with me?! What about my water, I can't get too close or–" Vee brought Finn into a hug, making Finn gasp and slightly hug back.

"Aren't you scared that my water is gonna get on you?" Finn whispered while rubbing circles on Vee's back. "Terrified.. but I think it's worth it." Vee muttered back, holding onto Finn tighter with a smile.

"How about we hang out now? If you'd like too of course." Finn said, excitement filled throughout her voice; this was a one in a million chance, Vee? THE Vee wanted to hang out with Finn? A fisherman?

She couldn't miss this opportunity.

"I'd like that, Finn."
